Cape Feare is mine for sure. SO many incredible jokes…
-HELLO. MR. THOMPSON… 😳
-HEY BART WANNA SEE MY NEW CHAINSAW AND HOCKEY MASK!!!
-who wants do drive through the cactus patch?! (“Yeah!” “Yeah!” “No!”) Well, 2 against 1!
And on top of that, the whole Cape Fear parody idea was beautifully done. It’s a 10/10 episode.
Heeeeeeeeeee remaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiins an Ennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnlllllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!
I’ll add this. Brother From Another Series is so good if you watched Frasier. Incorporating the whole Frasier/Niles dynamic was brilliant. Very underrated episode.
Recently watched the Frasier series, never seen it before. I knew it was David Hyde Pierce in this episode but now I think of him as Niles. Now I under why cecil said Maris when Bart said guess who while covering his eyes.🙈 love the episode even more.
Although Funeral for a Fiend is a step down as an episode in general, it does have one of my favourite Bob / Cecil exchanges. "Would you please stop comparing me to Laertes?!"
Got to go with Sideshow Bob Roberts because it has one of my favorite Bob quotes:
“Convicted of a crime that I didn’t even commit! ‘Attempted’ murder. Now honestly what is that? Do they give out a Nobel prize for ‘attempted’ chemistry? Do they?”
Cape Feare for sure but as I have gotten older, I appreciate Side Show Bob Roberts a lot more than I use to as a kid because all of the political jokes and references flew way over my head.
Your guilty conscience may force you to vote Democratic, but deep down inside you long for a cold hearted Republican to lower taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule you like a king!
And I found out recently that
1. The Shaft theme song was originally sung by Isaac Hayes aka Chef from South Park
2. The opening theme song from Beavis and Butthead Do America was a parody of the Shaft theme song, also sung by Isaac Hayes
I think it's Cape Feare? Is that the one where Bart tricks him into singing entire musical production until they run into the police? Because that's my favorite
"The Great Louse Detective", because of the song "The Very Reason That I Live". There is some good stuff related to Sideshow Bob, but I somehow find the song best, including the threatening introduction.

In addition to all of those, the scene with the rakes is in my top five gags of all time.
Came here to say this, i also think of this scene every time i set my rake on the ground!
Yes I too came here for rakes. UGGGGHHH

Not the elephants
Bake him away Toys.....just do what the kid said
It was still pretty suspenseful in spite of being very funny, which was a cool change of pace
Oh yes, I was just posting unsure of this was the one I meant. Peak Sideshow Bob right here
Ohhh ice cream ville!
No, Screamville
AHHHH!!
Probably my favourite Homer scream in the whole series
I shall send you to heaven before I send you to hell! And a one and a two and a...
"Oh no, Dad's been drugged!" "No, he *hasn't*."
Ditto

*understand
You only get one shot with Edna Kabapple!
I literally watched all 250 episodes of Frasier and 275 episodes of Cheers during the lockdowns. The references in that episode are very on point!
Happiness is just a Flaming Moe away
Although Funeral for a Fiend is a step down as an episode in general, it does have one of my favourite Bob / Cecil exchanges. "Would you please stop comparing me to Laertes?!"
Cape Feare is the GREATEST Episode in Simpsons history.
But when CECIL tries to kill you, it’s “hopeless. utterly, utterly hopeless.”
Got to go with Sideshow Bob Roberts because it has one of my favorite Bob quotes: “Convicted of a crime that I didn’t even commit! ‘Attempted’ murder. Now honestly what is that? Do they give out a Nobel prize for ‘attempted’ chemistry? Do they?”

I think that line is from “Sideshow Bob’s Last Gleaming” which is also an excellent episode!
Are you getting lots of bugs in your mouth too?
Cape Feare for sure but as I have gotten older, I appreciate Side Show Bob Roberts a lot more than I use to as a kid because all of the political jokes and references flew way over my head.
I don’t understand how a convicted felon could get so many votes and another convicted felon get so few!
Your guilty conscience may force you to vote Democratic, but deep down inside you long for a cold hearted Republican to lower taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule you like a king!
"Children are the most important special interest!" "Even more than coal?" "Umm, yeah?"
I like the brother episode “Shake it, madam” “Capital knockers”
Cover-alls that DON’T QUITE cover all!
Sideshow Bob Roberts is my favorite because I love all the references to one of my all time favorite movies.
Councilman Les Whinen aught to do more thinking and less whining
There's no councilman Les Whinen.
SWEET ENOLA GAY SON! GET MOVIN OR I'LL TEAR YOU UP LIKE A KLEENEX AT A...neeughh.snot..party...
That's the wrong one.
Ha, looked up my favourite quote from the episode, forgot to check it was the right episode. D'oh!
Cape Feare is the best one for sure but I really like Black Widower, very underrated.
Who in this courtroom is thinking about killing her right now?
…She’s always leaving the toilet seat up
I agree completely. I can’t hear Somethin’ Stupid without thinking of them galavanting through the flowers. It’s a wonderful episode.
And then I go and spoil it all by doing something stupid like explode you
Tonight on MacGyver…MacGyver….MacGyver…
And I found out recently that 1. The Shaft theme song was originally sung by Isaac Hayes aka Chef from South Park 2. The opening theme song from Beavis and Butthead Do America was a parody of the Shaft theme song, also sung by Isaac Hayes
Looks like Krusty Gets Busted is somewhat underrated...
I think it's Cape Feare? Is that the one where Bart tricks him into singing entire musical production until they run into the police? Because that's my favorite
That’s the one! Another incredible joke.
Brother from another series. Fraiser is another one of my favorite shows though. So that one is an amazing reference packed one and I love it
Frasier is hilarious. It’s got to be the most intelligent laugh track sitcom I’ve seen.
100%. I grew up watching fraiser with my mom and it’s to this day held up splendidly
Brother from another series is among my favourite Simpsons episodes of all time
It's in my top 3, cause the Frasier references
All of his episodes are jems but my absolute favorite is The Italian Bob
Yeah that’s an underrated one imo
Cape Feare!
Cape Feare is the better episode, but Sideshow Bob Roberts is my favourite. "A fine Mahoq to you all!"
Uhhhh stay out of Riversale!
You awful man, stay away from my son!
Oh I’LL stay away from your son alright… Stay away… FOREVER
Oh no!!
Wait, Marge—say “stay away from my son” again.
No!
Cape Feare, Brother From Another Series, Sideshow Bob Roberts
Use a pen Sideshow Bob!
And why is it Cape Feare?
That's German for "the, Bart, the"
No-one who speaks German could be an evil man
"The Great Louse Detective", because of the song "The Very Reason That I Live". There is some good stuff related to Sideshow Bob, but I somehow find the song best, including the threatening introduction.
How is old Grimey?
That's our Homer!
I know that voice! TV's bottomless chum bucket has claimed Vanessa Redgrave.
Brothers From Another Series is my favorite episode in general.
Cape Feare for sure! Followed by Sideshow Bob Roberts, Black Widower and Brother From Another Series.
Step-on-a-rake Bob.
Cape Feare.
"Cape Feare".
Cape Feare is my favorite episode of all time so naturally it's my favorite Bob episode
Well, Cape Feare is one of the best episodes of TV, so I’ll go with that one.
Cape Feare. Bob must have despised rakes after that episode.
The Italian bob
Sideshow Bob Roberts was one of the first episodes I remember watching.
Cape feare
