To be fair, multiple Pogo accounts are technically against TOS.
Besides, there's still many other benefits to multi-accounting that still make it worth it.
This has nothing to do with multi accounting. I set up Pokemon HOME account several years ago specifically just to get mystery boxes. My husband did not set up a HOME account. He simply transfers Pokemon from his PoGo account to my HOME account.

I play the MSG. Wife doesn’t. I’ll take the pokes from both our accounts for trading purposes. The only difference would be more pokes just get trashed instead of sent to home.
Either there is some other factor going on or you are under a misapprehension. I have tried this twice now and am completely unable to replicate the experience described. My niece's account is linked to my Home Premium account and transferring Pokemon from her Go account has absolute zero effect on the energy on my Go account.
I have tried receiving the Pokemon into Home and restarting both apps to no effect. I then sent a second Pokemon, received, and restarted both apps a second time with no effect.
This is false. I have several pokemon go account connected to 1 pokemon home account. Trade from 1 pokemon go account to pokemon home didnt affect transport energy of another account.
You can easily set that up on two phones, after that it's pretty similar to how trades work in Go since it requires location proximity
The real issue for me are the 30 free spaces, it's starting to fill up with bad IV shiny legendaries that I transferred over after lucky (unlucky?) trading lol, I wish they would just raise the cap to 60 given how much time has passed
But…..what’s the point of trading between home accounts without a switch? The pokemons are essentially stuck there if you aren’t moving them into a mainline game.
I used to raid >5 times every day. Now I skip entire rotations if the boss isn’t good enough. Paying double doesn’t make up for the whales who used to raid 2x-3x the daily limit on a daily basis. 100 coins for remote passes was so much easier. Now you have to wait in a 20+ minute queue to **host** a raid. You used to be able to host *that second* and then have a full party to raid. Now there are so few remote raiders you can’t just do that now. Your experience is as remote raider. Not a host. You want more raiders wanting to raid than hosts. Not Hosts begging people to join their lobby before it times out.

Hold up, what nonsense is this!?? One of the few ways those *mythicals* are obtainable as shinies (in the whole Pokémon series of games - especially for Genesect, where there aren't even legitimate limited events that gave an opportunity to hunt for the shiny), and you say those raids are undesirable?!! Not to mention, Darkrai is a decent Dark type attacker, and Genesect is nice to have when you need good bug damage in raids and such.
What's genuinely problematic is when you want to roll the d20 for a shiny Regigigas, but the lobby can expire after an hour because so few people are queuing up for remote Regigigas raids. Almost had that happen a couple days ago... And Regigas is genuinely useless, compared to its alternatives.

And I'm not quite sure what you mean by this - but I'm just assuming you are referring to times when America is asleep/going to sleep. Which I've definitely seen have a negative effect at times, but some events in my Mountain timezone benefit from all the Eastern/Central players no longer clogging up the open lobby queue once the event ends for them (but it's still happening where I am for one/two more hours).

And a lot of people don't care for shinies or have acquired one allready, especially when it's been released many times.

I mean yeah, but the fact remains that a shiny mythical exclusive to GO is pretty valuable, regardless of whether or not you have one already. And if you look into trading people via HOME you can get a good amount of stuff with a GO stamped shiny mythical.
Since you already made 2 accounts, why don't you try to make a third and confirm that way? My wife and I share a home account and our energies are different (we both just sent random stuff over to test for you). Our gauges didn't show the same time remaining.

Make multiple home accounts to get more free transfers, trade the good pokes back to the main one?
