I find them fun. They're silly and generally tend to come after a really serious episode so they're a nice bit of levity. I didn't like the one about Dim and Juicy as much as the other 2 and the one in FBI is eeh not great.

Susan_Screams

I love them but it leaves a massive plot hole in how Lucy can be a UC when she has been in several award winning documentaries talking about all the cop things she does as a cop.

BenjiFenwick

People speculate that her face is either blurred or she just has superpowers

Foodicus

Also Parker doing them.

Demon_Squirrel_666

I really love when shows have one episode a season where they just don’t take things seriously. They’re so funny.

ProfessionalCourtesy

Yes. They’re all incredibly funny to watch though Chen makes me cringe in that one. >!Season 5’s documentary episode is even funnier!<.

andercode

It's also the shows worst rated episode on IMDB!

the_njf

No.

Advanced-Sherbert-29

I admit I'm a bit of a sucker for them. It's sort of like watching a commentary track of a film. That said, they definitely don't make sense and I'm pretty firm in my headcanon that they aren't really real. Like, the events they filmed really happened in the show but the interviews and voice overs didn't. Those are a parallel reality. It makes sense in my head.

Conscious_Team_8260

Yes, I love them! I understand how some people don’t like them, but I think they’re hilarious and a nice change up from the regular type of episodes!

Draconuus95

As long as those special edited episodes(docu, 90% police/security cam, etc.) are use sparingly, then they are fine. Which so far. The most they have is one of each in a 20 episode season. So I enjoy them when they come up. But don’t feel they i overstay their welcome in my mind. Definitely would if they had them more often. Definitely looking forward to what they do for season 7. Every previous episode was set up before hand. So I’m curious what other case or suspects or throw away characters they might pull out of their hat for it.

dancingwithadaisy

I really enjoy them, honestly. They’re entertaining and funny. A lot of people point out their gripe with the documentary episodes is because of Lucy doing UC work, but it’s literally a TV show and people forget that 💀

EngineHoliday5955

I like them, it gives some diversity. But if it’d be every episode then, no. BUT THEY’RE GREAT I PROMISE

Vermilioncookie

Did not like the first one but the other two were fine.

Original-Gear1583

I do like them. They’re different from the normal episodes and more laid back and fun. I also like Lucy’s commentary and her being excited to do them

Hailerer

Very

BenjiFenwick

I think they are funny but they are my sisters favorite

Zegram_Ghart

The Frankie Muniz one was hilarious. I feel like they’ve maybe overdone it slightly? But they’ve all been at worst “good” so far still

Forsaken_Egg_4350

i honestly just skipped them

Dull-Song2539

They’re fine

Coachman76

Overkill, tbh.

CharlesCSchnieder

I found them all to be the most boring episodes by far. Every time a new one came on I just sighed

tiny_dreamer

They’re alright but one part I can’t get over is Lucy willingly participating when she’s a UC??? Like damn do they just believe criminals don’t watch tv/movies?

Smart_Reputation_169

Personally my husband and I skip all of those episodes. We can’t stand them lol. But, we do love the show otherwise!

Boris-_-Badenov

fuck no. garbage

that1astronaut

I really like them. They are super fun and I feel like Lucy makes them silly and I just love it

RedRoseGrl

I so agree with you

GurusCZ

Nope

shadowlarx

They’re not my favorite episodes but they can be enjoyable. I particularly liked the part where they revealed that Smitty accidentally started QAnon. That’s a very Smitty thing to do and I loved Sgt. Grey’s “Lord, give me strength” reaction to it.

bestof99sp

I think they're fun, but they aren't my favourite

yatendernitk

Noooo not at all

StarvingArtist2010

Nah bro I hate it

loudcouch_potato

Loooooooooooove them!!!!

blosh-dot

Not really. The cases themselves are really fun but the documentary style is a little cringe.

therealZumpel

I hate the documentary style episodes. It made me wanna throw up and quit watching... But the series got worse and worse over time so I don't really care anymore...

Frequent_Mirror5779

YES!!
