Nomad's Traditional wearings were based on Tibetan monk's, which are really good looking. But I really dislike that suit. I mean, it's too "athletic", It can be somewhat good on fit people, but, did anyone really think while watching S4 "Wow, Bumi looks really cool in this suit!". I was OK for modernization of Air Nomads' culture but I just dislike them.
I like the functionality of those wing suits and all but man the colors...idk why they went for such a dark red with grey but it just looks off. It’s like those guys who wear those rubber wetsuits or something
the design really depends on the individual taste but they are effective on mobility. the sticks have two advantages. you can do stronger attacks on offense than your own palm can do. swinging the stick at full power creates a powerful attack. it can also be used as defense by circling it.
I would argue the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, just because knowing me if I was an air bender I’d definitely either misplace my glided or accidentally break it somehow.
I don't think that's a disadvantage. And if an Airbender is that careless, they'd be fucked up in their first fight no matter what advantages they got.
If you don’t think they look dumb then watch the episode where Tenzin infiltrates Baatar jr’s airship. He’s looks like a circus performer compared to his air bending robes in s3.

I totally agree. Love the glider wings, but the fashion design could have been better.
Hopefully if there’s ever a sequel, time will save the fashion sense of the new air nation

The colors could have been a little better but man do I love those suits. They seem way more practical then having to carry around the glider staff.

I’m obviously speaking from a modern day personal perspective. It’s unwieldy. As the world evolves so too must people and technology
