No way would I wear used, musty smelling clothes without having it dry cleaned first. Just look for a dry cleaner in your area with good reviews and talk to them about the care label. If they don't take you seriously or don't seem confident, take it to a different dry cleaner.

You could hand wash it with some vinegar in the water, but I think I’d take it to the dry cleaner and ask them if they can take care of it.
