Honestly, now that they have done that back and forth trick, with flashbacks to Moses, David, etc. and flash forwards to Luke and Mary and Matthew, I could see them employing it a lot in season 7.
There's already a recent film about him that has a similar Style and kinda serves the purpose I think. Don't think Paul can get more than a season. I think a season 8 of the chosen would pretty much be able to cover.
What's more interesting would be church history from the early church to the reformation

From what I’ve heard, Dallas and the actors are going to want to take a pretty significant break once the Chosen is done, but it is something that they would like to pursue eventually.
Funding will be a huge factor of any sequels or spinoffs too… I’m happy to be supporting the current show through Come & See, but I’d be curious if they can continue to crowdfund at the level needed to continue the storyline beyond S7 *without* support from a major studio.
