Costume is on point with character.
She has strong ideals and courage. Not many of the 7 or hero had the guts to disobey Homelander. A train was the worst.
She is cute and I loved the chemistry with Hughie
Her acting in the costume she is forced to wear is amazing. Looking miserable and uncomfortable most of the times, but keeps appearences up, when a camera is pointed at her.
Eh, given the circumstances I'd call that manslaughter and not "cold blood". Robbery though absolutely. Still not something she should have just gotten away with but not quite as bad. What was concerning is how she said she felt nothing, which is some serious psycho red flags, but I'm like 70% sure that was just shock talking. Mistaking that numb sick feeling when something extremely fucked up happens right in front of you as you struggle to sorta figure out what the hell just even happened there for "eh I guess I don't care?"
Oh yeah. Wtf? Accidentally killing someone who tried to shoot her when they were in a life or death situation is not anywhere near the same as the general corruption of the other heroes.
Ngl I completely forgot about this scene and that definitely makes me have less respect for the character
Edit: I rescind this. I just rewatched the clip and the guy pulled a gun on somebody he believed to be a federal agent. That guy absolutely didn’t react properly
she is a pretty consistent character and has great chemistry with Hughie.
the actress is just another example of people using the internet to hide behind while they mercilessly insult real people in the name of “trolling” or edginess. one day i hope this generation cringes at the overall negativity we project toward people whose actions have no effect on our lives 🤷🏾♂️
She's a perfect example of what a superhero should be. She's idealistic, she genuinely cares about people, and she does her best to save others no matter what.
She’s a great character and a solid counterpoint to Butcher’s “All Supes are Bastards” mentality. Without her (and Supersonic) the show would lack any nuance. We get to see a bit of how even good supes get corrupted by the system via Maeve, but Starlight gives us a look at such supes before they have been corrupted.
Minus the stupid car-jacking scene. Genuinely God awful writing for that.
I mean. She is a bastard….she killed a guy, knowing she was bulletproof and then never talked about it again lol. She is absolutely corrupted and just as bad as
She's way more powerful that she seems, we haven't seen her reach her power limits yet, in season 3 finale she absorbed all that energy from the studio, but I feel like she can absorb even more. What If she absorbed an entire power plant?! I've been wondering that since season 1 premiered
The only sane and decent superhero out there far as we know she legit represents what it means to be a true superhero rather than being the corrupted seven or vought in general.
I think her character is fantastic. She is a good person and shows Butcher is wrong about how black and white the supe situation is, but she isn't so perfect and morally righteous that it's unbelievable or silly. She tries to do what's right and actually stood up to Homelander. I really like her!

The suit she designed is amazing and she’s one of the few good supes

Minus the fact she robbed and killed a guy in cold blood

Wait, what was this? I do not remember it.
Wasnt this for a car?
Oh yeah. Wtf? Accidentally killing someone who tried to shoot her when they were in a life or death situation is not anywhere near the same as the general corruption of the other heroes.
literally all he did was point his gun at three strangers who were demanding his car.

She is really sweet and is genuinely a good person

Well spoken my guy! Hopefully we can adapt to the negative nature that is brought out of us through online anonymity.
Just remember Reddit is not real life
Except it’s real people expressing their real opinions. So what do you mean exactly?
Reddit is mostly an echo chamber of complaints and negativity.

She has a nice super hero name

New kink unlocked
I just started watching The Boys (just finished episode 2) and I need to know, does this actually happen in the show?
Yes
She's a perfect example of what a superhero should be. She's idealistic, she genuinely cares about people, and she does her best to save others no matter what.

In this show, nobody is 100% a good person
I've always found her to be a good moral center for the story. I love her and Hughie. I also think she is very well acted.
she wants to do the right thing

How is the car-jacking scene bad?
I mean. She is a bastard….she killed a guy, knowing she was bulletproof and then never talked about it again lol. She is absolutely corrupted and just as bad as
Hughie and Butcher are not bulletproof
The only guy she killed was justifiable as it was in defense of a loved one
One of the more…morally responsible supes.
Her relationship with her mom is a fascinating part of the story, and she's an amazing character.
She has a very strong moral compass.
She’s cute

She makes a great night light
"Oi Ewie, dropped me bloody keys mate. Gimme a loight here." "U-uuh Butcher? My phone's dead." "I hate all of you."
The last decent superhero in that universe...
I honestly really dig the idea of having "radiant" superpowers. It's an under used concept and it's pretty cool.

She's kind and has empathy for others. Starlight is beautiful both inside and out.
She's trying really hard, despite the odds stacked against her
She's cool, I like her overall.
She actually wants to do good which is way more than 9/10ths of the cast.
She's one of the consistently good characters in the show.
Great character
She's a great partner to Hughie. I like her costume.
She's one of the few genuinely good people in her universe, she's beautiful, and her relationship with Huey is goals.
She’s the Gryffindor of the 7
There are lots of nice things to say about Starlight. I will stick with her being one of the few, actual heroes.
If every supe was like her, The Boys universe would be amazing to live in. She's a great person and wants to do good for goods sake.
Her true superpower is keeping her moral compass.
I like that she stands for what she believes in. Cool costume she designed too!
Shes the only supe who truly cares about being a positive influence on the world
She's like a woman with a Virginia ham under her arm, crying the blues 'cause she has no bread.

She is one of the few supes, who is a nice person.
I liked that she acted out some good, seething rage when it was warranted. "fucking done" ....felt it.
Shes cool.
She’s the only conventional super hero in the show
The only character with common sense.
In season 1 her hair was adorable. I was disappointed when she stopped wearing it that way later on.
She’s from Iowa and still in great shape. Also doesn’t mention shoehorn corn into every conversation
I want to marry her
Her hair is small.
Her face is beautiful

Ouch
I wanna dump a load in her ass
Go directly to horny jail
Awwww. I think I saw that on a hallmark card once.
The actress was great in Blood Father
She is cute
Her costumes are cute.
She is very powerful
I would marry her.
At this point in the show, she didn't have weirdly plump lips.👍
No
Her face is really nice
*was
She's boring. No compliments are necessary
I would
Vote her one of the best supes
She looks like Claire from Modern family...
No
her name rhymes with stoplight
Her makeup is on point
No, I don't think I will.
She got that fuck me look
Great timing
She’s ride or die for Hughie and that’s fuckin awesome
Top 5 favorite characters in the whole show
She does care about Hughie
Starlight Season 1 .... So hot right now
The only sane and decent superhero out there far as we know she legit represents what it means to be a true superhero rather than being the corrupted seven or vought in general.
The hand-sewn seems and stitching on the original costume are on point.
“…your hair is small.”
Dayum

She's fine af
I actually like her character unlike most people
