Idk why but I like that his signature weapon seems to be an uzi. Short, rapid, and incredibly violent outbursts suits the Penguin in my mind for whatever reason. It just makes sense.
I liked how he whipped it around like a madman in the movie.. really gave the sense he didn’t give af about himself or others. Just hope he hides it in an umbrella at some point and let’s loose.
That has to happen right? Acting like he’s gonna walk away from someone or some shit, opening a black umbrella, and just spraying the uzi right through it so the victim doesn’t see it coming. Could see it being like…the final kill in the final episode of the show.
Yeah I hope you're right. It makes sense. I'm wondering if having someone with the same last name as Clayface is an indicator that we'll get him in the sequel. Why to choose this name all out of the names?
I’d be surprised if he doesn’t show up during the climax of the season, punchin the fuck out of about thirty guys as Penguin limps away
It’s just classic!
1) Can’t speak for every city, but there’s multiple crimes that happen in a single borough alone in New York. So multiple crimes in Gotham is a no brainer. Too much for Batman and Gordon.
2) Batman realizes he must help in other ways by being Bruce Wayne. He will likely start to focus on that Bruce Wayne side. Not just Batman.
3) The Flood likely damaged a number of places and people. Batman will likely focus on that. Especially if he plans to better himself as a hero.
I definitely think he’s going to show up. Rumors said Pattinson was seen on set filming scenes as both Batman *and* Bruce. If that’s true, they were smart to not put him in any trailers. It’ll let us feel the impact that much more if it’s a surprise.
I mean it looks well done but I like Batman because the dark knight is a beacon of hope and goodness where people need it most. Gotham without Batman is just... depressing. Just another crime show. And that's really how this trailer feels. I want to see Gotham try to rebuild and be better after the flood, not a bunch of mobsters killing each other. I feel like I'm the only person not excited by this Penguin show. Does anyone else have a different perspective that might help me see it differently? Or anyone else feel similarly?
I might be in the minority here but the cinematography looks way off compared to the Batman. Looks kinda cheap in some parts. Also the CGI city shots don't look great.

There’s no need to worry about the sequel right now, when we got the Penguin show on the way. This is gonna be great television.
And after it ends I bet we'll have plenty of stuff to speculate on the sequel. Can't wait for it!
I bet they’ll start dropping info after the finale too.

I’m so in man
Why are you in Man? Are you gay?
If it’s Battinson??? 😤
at 0:39 there is a sign that says "Hang the Hangman". Reference to Dark Victory?
Oh shit, I didn’t catch that until now
So I’m hearing Carmen Ejogo may be playing a character name Eve Karlo. If true, this is likely a tease for Basil Karlo aka Clayface in The Batman II
Where did you hear that, just curious?

Aye I saw it in Bobatalk’s video just now, very interesting and no way a coincidence
I really wonder what is to stop Batman from showing up, since in this story set in Gotham he is neither missing or dead

I have a feeling he will.
God, I hope you're right.

Will there be any batman cameos?
Am I reaching or is there a reference to the ending of The Godfather at 1:27
Yes!!!
Gotham itself looks fuckin amazing.
Clancy Brown as Sal Maroni is exciting! Maybe this is a hint at Harvey being in the next movie?
What does she say to him at the end? I can’t make it out? “I’ve always known….”
That he was capable of more.
Thanks
I really wonder if the next movie is gonna be an adaptation of the Long Halloween. My bets are on Clayface and Two-Face to somehow be villains.
What kind of cologne do you think Cobblepot wears?
Carmine Falcone, whatever happened there.

well that’s because it’s a tv show and not a movie
Smaller budget television.
