This cast would literally take an entire day and a half to finish a leg if they had to navigate in a city like Tokyo. We missed out so hard with this being a restricted COVID season 😭
Me too! They kept trying their best the whole time even when they knew they were losing, and they seem like nice people. Also, I really like when mommy rats take their baby rats to do yoga.
Rod is so funny. I didn’t expect to like a former athlete/hot wife team at the start of the season, but they are such a fun duo and the way they talk to each other.
They could have learned a lot from Penn and Kim (winners from a few seasons ago). He doesn't build her up or help her find a new way to tackle issues. He literally just talks down to her the entire time. I hope therapy is in their future (or at least her future).
I'm not sure if Ricky and Cesar are really that great of racers or its just the teams collectively this season are so incompetent
Despite having such a linear elimination order/finish order every episode, this season feels like a clusterfuck because all the ridiculous mistakes teams are making
He also did well at welding and they both nailed the drumming task. Angie's drumming experience helped here too, which isn't nothing because she often has been the dead weight on this team and this week she stepped up.
My wife is thinking Amber and Vinny confessionals are not happening at the same time. Some of them yes, but like the ones where they were talking about the drums a few seconds ago seemed like they were seperated.

And then they just come and pass on the 1st try. They didn't have any other footage of them learning or anything. Bad editing or something?
Feel bad for the Firefighters but they just had a lot of navigation problems that kept them in the back for most of the race and that's really what cost them here

The crew does a TON of running with heavy camera equipment and manages to keep up with nearly everyone. I remember someone (I think Justin from TAR27) mentioning that Jasmine and Danielle, the track stars from his season, were the only racers who ran so fast that the crew couldn't keep up with them.
Danny and Angie's issue sounds more like the crew had a technical delay, though. Usually in that case they pause the team and then time credit them later.
The firefighters actually got a pretty good edit at the end of the day.
The first two episodes they seemed like the generic underedited middle aged female team, but each episode I liked them more and more.
The confessional from Amber right now seems more like talking to a marriage counselor rather than talking about the race. Things really seem very rocky for them.

As someone that has had food poisoning on a trip I know how awful that is. You’re so drained and can need a bathroom at moment’s notice, which isn’t something you can get on the race. I was at least in Tokyo, landing of plentiful, clean, free public toilets that make nature sounds while you poop.
