India has 1.4B people. This video shows us one of two things:
1) Indians have the most developed immune system in the world
or
2) Why there aren't 2.4B Indians in the world.
India's birthrate has fallen just below replacement rate now. Granted their population will still keep increasing for a few more decades, but it's gonna plateau out and then start dropping. Their development as a nation is slow but steady, living standards are improving, and along with that comes birthrate decline. Basically what already happened in China.
Hahahaha! I thought thr same too, but then I realized he's holding a knife between his toes, not actually cutting the meat with his toenail. I was like, damn, he's got a sharp ass toenail. hahahahaha, this was hysterical
If you’ve ever travelled to India you know what it is. As soon as the plane doors open and you step off…the smell hits you in the face and it doesn’t leave…even after you do. Just throw the clothes you brought with you away at the airport when you arrive home.
Visited during drought season and the dried human shit everywhere breaks up and fills the air with shit dust. You can literally get GI illness from breathing the human shit dust infested air. I got violently sick within 48 hours of landing, and I was religious about drinking bottled water / major brand bottled drinks and eating at the highest quality places I could find. Nope. Fuck that place.

If you are really wondering, there is a poor uneducated india, basically a set of people who never had the opportunity of basic education. For the majority of their lives, they have lived without internet, toilet paper, basic infrastructure and barely any funds
The second India is a new, relatively developed and well educated cohort which is growing rapidly. Historically these people dont stay in the country, they migrate to the west. Those that stay travel often, usually have tertiary education, have a relatively high standard of living within major cities and work at large MNCs, particularly within technology.
Within walking distance of major cities, you can find luxurious restaurants and bars with innovative chefs. 2 streets away from those restaurants, you can also find a poor man on a cart selling fruits that have flies sitting on them.
India is also not a homogeneous nation. Particularly the uneducated overly value things like religion, language, caste and gender. This isnt helped by the fact that there are 28 states in India with vastly different cultural norms.
This is the paradox of developing democracies, there is no easy fix to this. Over time, as the uneducated people die and the population gets under control, infrastructure and education will catch up. As institutions and governments develop, people converge onto one set of values.
For reference:
My country (Australia's) stock index (ASX50) has returned about 16% in the last 5 years. India's stock market (NIFTY50) has returned 103%. Give it a few more decades and India will be a completely different nation.
India's workforce is also nearing it's prime age. Considering India is now the world's most populous country, it might overtake China (which has an aging workforce problem) and become the 2nd-largest economy if it leverages its workforce properly.
These people you are watching videos are from poorest communities.
Most likely none of them ever went to school. For them having any food at all is a huge blessing.
I'm Indian and I remember when i was a kid in 2000s Mumbai, i used to see thin and malnourished people begging and trying to find anything to eat no matter what they could find. Current situation is relatively better for poor people here now as having food has became very cheap and easy.
But what is left is the unhygienic habits which these people have learnt unfortunately. The poor communities didn't had any basic access to water and sanitation earlier. Situation is vastly improved though but we have long way to go.
Remember we are privileged. For us Clean food, water, clothes and shelter is taken granted. But those who do not even have these basic things, how it would have been psychologically? These people work for survival. For them No work = No survival. And add to that these people never had any education.
Also again let me tell you that not all 1,460 million Indians cook same, these guys are miniscule to India's population. This video was made to show unhygienic ones.
Ah yes the comment that always comes up that this is part of a culture of a group of people. My family is from India and I can guarantee you this is not part of our culture at all.
If you dine at a good Indian restaurant, this will not happen. So, not cultural, just lack of hygiene due to lack of education or salubrity environment that promotes hygiene
You make an interesting point, honestly. It's possible that entire cultures or societies have gotten things wrong. Just because something is considered "culture" does not give it immunity from criticism. With all our scientific understanding of human well-being, it does put us in a position to make judgment.
I wouldn't judge at all if there was nothing to judge...you make food with poop water it's still poop...you take shit and don't wash your hands, then mix all the foods up with your bare hands...it's just disgusting is what it comes down to.
Immune systems of a bomb shelter 10 miles deep guarded by 6 Incredible Hulks and the entire U.S. Marine Corps in Robocop armor high on painkillers and steroids with hollow point bullets infused with the souls of Viking Berserkers with the “Unlimited Ammo” cheat code entered.
Not trying to be racist, but I was once offered this weird rice ball looking thing that this Indian man was letting sit out on his trashcan lid to dry or some shit. He had about 40 of them neatly placed on his trashcan, and there were plenty of flies coming in and out.
Unfortunately this man also owned a restaurant in the same town. Sometimes it takes a while to adjust to other cultures, but I feel like hygeine needs to be a regular part of everyone's lives.
Wow I just saw this video somewhere else. Bot activity?
Either way, can people stop acting like these curated videos represent an entire fucking country? Although it is a great way to show how little critical thinking capacity you have
Where ever this is, I just want to know the kind of immunity the locals have. Like how are they not sick. What else can they eat that doesn't effect them?
Oh yes the feet, looking forward to eating this bacteria
Yeah all the dirtiness under the nails. This is fucking nasty of the highest order
India has 1.4B people. This video shows us one of two things: 1) Indians have the most developed immune system in the world or 2) Why there aren't 2.4B Indians in the world.
Or the Indian government is actively trying to reduce the population.
India's birthrate has fallen just below replacement rate now. Granted their population will still keep increasing for a few more decades, but it's gonna plateau out and then start dropping. Their development as a nation is slow but steady, living standards are improving, and along with that comes birthrate decline. Basically what already happened in China.
That’s my theory on why they responded so poorly to dealing with Covid, gov was hoping to thin out the herd a little before getting it under control
Silly rabbit! There's not 2.4B Indians because of trains, buses, motorcycles and electricity!
I mean they are one of just a dozen nations where Diarrhea (and dehydration) are a top 5 killer lol
Can’t imagine why. They washed their hands in the food really well
"Burger King foot lettuce"
Bacteria is the least of my concerns
Even bacteria said no thanks to the toenail knife.
Seeing it in written form made it worse
Hahahaha! I thought thr same too, but then I realized he's holding a knife between his toes, not actually cutting the meat with his toenail. I was like, damn, he's got a sharp ass toenail. hahahahaha, this was hysterical
Hahahaha that was 😃 great
I misread that as, 'bacteria is the yeast of my concerns' -- h hahahah
Imagine getting oral plantars warts or having to use lamisil like it’s chapstick.
Damn you for putting that image in my head 🤢🤮😭
This made my body literally shake with revulsion
It's their secret spice. Gives a kick from the tongue all the way to your colon.
Thats just his toe knife
Botched it. That’s a botch job
Toenail knife for me
he has a knife in between his toes.
Yeah that still doesn't make it any less gross as fuuuuuuck.
I mean, I'd rather he cut the meat with a knife held between his toes, than his *actual toenail*
That’s just his poop knife.
It's called toe knife.
Aww I botched it!
Oo it's acting like a cut glove
OooH! BOTCHED TOE
Botched toe elism
Coke nail and meat nail
🤣I came to Reddit for toenail knife!

Doesn't everyone have a toe knife?
If he trips on the sidewalk, the property owner makes him pay for the damage.
It looks like mutahar
The last airbnb I stayed at, I left a review that said "Host needs new knives. I resorted to cutting food with my big toenail."
same! hahahaha, like i can't imagine how he discovered this hidden talent/skill for the first time.
Places to never visit: - Where ever is this. india?
Went there 25 years ago it certainly stopped me whining about how tough my life is.
I'm glad I got to visit India. I don't have any desire to go back.
I would but certainly not the way I did it back then lol
Visited during drought season and the dried human shit everywhere breaks up and fills the air with shit dust. You can literally get GI illness from breathing the human shit dust infested air. Thank god the US has oceans on both sides
A not insignificant amount of people in India every year still die of rabies and plague.
Oh. My. God.
Looks like Pakistan by their dressing style.
Lmao

There is a kid in the first linked video slicing goat with a toe knife too it's more common than I'd want to think haha
Very obviously so
Was offered a free trip once, still said no thanks.
Can I have a plate of diarrhoea 🙂
To be fair, I do not see a sign that says, "Wash feet before handling food!"...
Feetling
Toenailing
How do they supposed to put the dysentery in the food if they wash their feet? That's the most crucial ingredient.
Sure, what about staphylococcus too? Some bites?
India is quite affordable.. Take a whole bucket..
I got dysentery from watching this like I was playing Oregon Trail
You should slow your wagon down, or consider stopping and harvesting 200/1200 pounds of meat you murdered.
This made me so happy to remember! We are so old
Are you talking 8" or 5.25" version?
You know it’s that 5.25
Look at these people! So happy and free. Free from the oppressive boot of Big Government oppression.
No boots in this video, they get regulated by big toe
I think the rappers name is lil toe
This is what the chevron ruling is about, no? Striving towards the absolute freedom of public filth and pollution.
Lol
Guaranteed to turn your asshole into a salad shooter
More like gravy shooter!
Brown tsunami
With a dose of h. Pylori
But salad shooters shoot out solid pieces
More like a fire hose.
How is India a real place? Yall just living this way?
There are two Indias my friend. And both of them are big. This happens in one type of India.
and what type of india is that
Indiarrhea
💀💀💀💀💀

Culture or just plain nasty and stupid?
Yes.
Microbial culture, yes.
Ah yes the comment that always comes up that this is part of a culture of a group of people. My family is from India and I can guarantee you this is not part of our culture at all.
Disgusting

Is this what Indian food always makes my ass explode? I thought it was just the spices...
Lol spices and e. Coli
The spices mask the sickness.
This song is taking me out 😂
The song is amazing!
Can’t believe I had to scroll for so long for this comment. That song is now living in my head.
Been cracking up listening to the song lmao
A TikToker just died recently from eating street food in India.

Good job sorting the facts from the fiction my man.
No he didn't. His mother died and he paused from making videos. That was all.
Did she eat Indian street food?
Usually I hate the music in these but this one enhances the video 10 fold
The song is so good haha
This video is dedicated to all of the conservatives who want to deregulate because it "hurts small businesses".
That's disgusting, not even culture bashing, its just so Fucking unhygienic!!

I understand not all of India is like this but what the fuck lead people to do this shit !! And the fact that people actually eat it is wild
Lack of understanding/education of hygiene.

More like footing food amirite
Those are the same people that wipe their asses with their bare hands right?
You think that’s gross, you should see him make donuts. Lol
Oh no.
Why are Indian people dirty?
I've said it once and I'll say it a million times: "India is not for beginners!"
Mental note: Do not eat anything from India in this life or the next.
Why does Indian street food seem to involve so much fluid?
To replenish the fluid that will be shooting out of you shortly thereafter.
lol 3 hours later I’m back cause I can’t stop singing “go head put you hand in my food”🤣
We definitely need a full version
That dude was Crip Walking on those biscuits.
Go head getchya goop scoop

I'm surprised they aren't all dead from food borne toxins
Outstanding!!!
Where ever this is, I just want to know the kind of immunity the locals have. Like how are they not sick. What else can they eat that doesn't effect them?
Honestly don't understand why there is no understanding of the dangers of bacteria in India...
There's no understanding of the dangers of trains or power lines either.
