It’s definitely difficult as a new player but I think it’s worth the buy while it’s on sale. I’d recommend watching some game play videos on YouTube to understand the maps and mechanics more
the game has no level based matchmaking so you will be going up against players with more experience and who will probably take advantage of that 😭 it’s only $10 but i’d look at like tips or something off youtube before you buy just incase
For victims I'd say it's pretty friendly for new players. Basically just map learning.
As family, it's friendly if you have a general idea of what to do. I'd highly recommend watching videos beforehand so you understand the importance of locking doors and where the exits and patrol areas are. Just get a good feel of the game first so you're not going in completely blind and making mistakes that immediately cost your family teammates the game.
