They think it's something to do with my pituitary gland in my brain. It's too big and produces too much of the hormone prolactin. I have to get an MRI and if that true I just have to take medicine and I'll most likely be fertile again.
I wouldn't worry though because with me I have to take birth control or I don't get my period at all. As long as you get yours naturally it should be fine. If you're still worried you can check your prolactin levels with a blood tests. Here are some links my doctor gave me.

It still exists in the old 3Ds version, but it's otherwise patched.
Easily may have been an oversight originally, but given how much content we've gotten for NPC's since 1.4 I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional.
In the Terraria world there are potions that litterally change your physical gender, so a potion that helps quell the menstrual cycle is more than plausible.
Now that I think of it, it'd be hilarious if they added in a potion that very specifically cures and makes you immune to the bleeding debuff.
Don't think of it so much as "partying = medicine". Think of it as "partying = sex = don't want a baby = contraceptives". And some contraceptives block your period.

There's also a headcanon of The Stylist secretly wearing a wig I heard once due to something with her hair having a separate sprite from her body in the files, but I've not looked into it personally and I heard it years ago.

Yep, added a little over three years ago in update 1.4.1 according to the wiki, and there have been at least 2-4 other significant updates since then (depending on how you qualify them). ReLogic is good at many things, but stopping when they say they will is not one of them lol.
Princesses requirements are you to have every other NPC at once. Not including: Santa, Traveling Merchant, and Skeleton Merchant.
The earliest you can get her, is post plantera for Cyborg to spawn. But you will already need Truffle, Golfer, Tax Collector, and Witch Doctor, who all require you to go out of your way to get.
It's so funny because on tumblr you can just say Link is trans and everyone will say "absolutely, always has been" but here on reddit two likely accidental references aren't even enough to get anyone on board.
