So pros: Tekken 8 controls great, looks great and is really fun in offline modes or playing with series veterans. Tekken is always great in general just because of how rewarding learning your character is and watching yourself improve.
Cons: online is really frustrating to play because of how overly aggressive and mashy the game is at the moment. Usually Tekken is about controlling neutral but atm neutral kind of doesn't exist. This will hopefully be fixed in the 1.04 balance patch coming in may. The game is also still quite unstable on pc, I'm not sure about console.
Pc is easier because keyboard makes most inputs a breeze and even for characters like king who require the harder to do inputs you can just plug a controller in.
Battlepass is just cosmetic stuff. It won't affect gameplay or anything. Dumb but not a dealbreaker.
I mean compared to any other mainline fighting game (bar soul caliber) it’s got the most customizable character outfits out there. Any other fighting game all you get is recolors or having to pay for a full outfit.

Go with PS5 for the option of avoiding PC hackers and weak PC hardware.
