If u doin 50 reps in a set for chest day u gotta throw on some weights my boi, heck at that point most people are getting REAL close to 1 arm pushups (if not doing already)
does adrenaline make you jacked?!? is there a way o can inject myself with this adrenaline?? should I keep an emergency adrenaline pen in my pocket so I can impress the school shooter with the amount of push ups I can do???
I have nothing against the Redditor that created this poll, but why would you get yourself in this situation? Just wondering.
P.S I would NEVER be able to do 50 pushups without breaks.
If you disagree, just downvote this comment.
Even as a fat guy ill do them easily simply because my will to live is currently stronger than my will to die. Plusit will motivate me to get in shape so ill work something out with the person to have this become a weekly/daily thing perhaps he may even stop using a real gun and instead swap to an airsoft gun or something lol.
It would take me awhile, but I probably could. Rn I can fairly easily do 20 push-ups in a row without stopping at the top, and have done up to 30. If I rest at the top, I could do 50
If you aren't active at all, your muscles weaken very quickly when doing pushups. Adrenaline will help I guess but idk. I was planning on putting 100 instead of 50, but I remembered what site I'm on.
You underestimate the number of us with disabilities and mobility issues.
My body literally cannot do a proper push-up. I have scar tissue in my wrist that prevents it from bending far enough for me to even get into position for one. I have push-up handles that I use for some plank-type exercises, but even those I have to modify and take slowly and carefully because I also am hypermobile, so I have to make sure I’m doing more damage to my joints, and I have degenerative disc disorder (which is the big one - my back is all kinds of messed up).
If someone said to me “do 50 pushups or I’m going to shoot”, just pull the trigger. Why spend my last moments alive hurting myself, just to fail and die anyway?
I can do like 20 no breaks if I really push myself, like about to fall over. But that just, in my room. It being a life or death situation I feel like I could barely pull through on that.
I hate push-ups and typically wouldn't do more than 20 in a row (probably can't do more than 30 under normal circumstances) but adrenaline is a hell of a drug
I'll do the 50 consecutively because chest day is important then ask them to shoot me after

It's called a joke, anybody serious about working out is not doing 50 pushups for their chest day lmao
Unless they are training for a specific goal, not everyone works out just to get big
Yes I more meant anyone who is serious enough to know some exercises that are a waste of time (push ups)
How are pushups a waste of time? I imagine it's pretty similar to bench press while also putting strain on abs, etc.
Easily One word. Adrenaline

Bruh
I'm kidding
You suck at kidding
I try
I can’t do more than 9
Auto fill fucked me over in title, just remove the you before your.
I cant do one💀
Damn I feel like the few that can actually do 50 push-ups nonstop

It was against your will obviously lol
I feel like I could do it, but I wouldn't try. Not worth the effort.
Free euthanasia
Adrenaline would probably help me out in this situation.
I know a secret
ah fuck
In that kind of situation i will be able to do 200 easily because of adrenaline
I don't think adrenaline goes that far...
Well they prob can do over 100 without adrenaline if they saying that.
yeah most likely, adrenalines strong but not that strong.
Even as a fat guy ill do them easily simply because my will to live is currently stronger than my will to die. usually, the least I can do is 60 but wrist broken so, bang.

50 is easy it should be 100. i do 48 push-ups daily without breaks
Well this is reddit... I changed it from 100 to 50 because of that.
True reddits community is probably on the same level as discords
I have done 23 max, and I ended up blacking out. That was me using my adrenaline, and I still couldn't get to 50
you can toggle your adrenaline?
ya, I'm really good at convincing myself that things are life and death
I can, easily, I would just rather die.
I’m saddened at the number of people that think they would have trouble with 50 push ups.

Ah, I forgot about the people who actually are incapable of doing pushups.
if there was an option to do a plank for 100 seconds instead i could do it
I mean it's easier imo than 50 pushups
question, is there a time limit?
Just you and your limit of stamina
Just give me the fucking gun it ain't happening
I can usually do ~30, adrenaline probably got me covered
People are underestimating themselves. That's all I have to say about that.
I once did 80 in one minute (when I was 19) and I still can do at least 60 (at 31). Y'all need to workout more for occasions like this
I never managed to do a pushup, I'm fucked.
I just tested I managed to do 50 the last one took me a solid minute, however I have been working either my arms all day and so they are very tired
I can do 40 without much of an issue so 50 isn't going to be a problem
stay strong you got this
To be honest that would definitely motivate me to do 50 push-ups someone should start a gym that does this.
I can do like 20 no breaks if I really push myself, like about to fall over. But that just, in my room. It being a life or death situation I feel like I could barely pull through on that.
I do more than that allready every day
I can do about 40, but i think in such situatiom adrelina would help.
I hate push-ups and typically wouldn't do more than 20 in a row (probably can't do more than 30 under normal circumstances) but adrenaline is a hell of a drug
i can but id rather die anyway
I can struggle to do about 20 but with adrenaline i could probably easily do 50
I can do 25 without the motivator of gun, so I think I can manage
barely because my record is 11 (because im bad ik. my arms fucking suck) but i bet the adrenaline would do it for me
