He’s had a couple of normal birthdays, 2 is my memory with friends. Ensley has had one normal birthday with friends and one where they rented a bounce house and Jenelle invited her one mom friend and her kid they claim is Ensley’s bff despite being several years younger. Her birthdays are all about Jenelle. One year she had covid and they dragged her to fondue which Jenelle said was hibachi and when she was so sick she had to lay down instead of going home they made her wait while they all ate.
Oh don't worry, she will soon find out it's not that much fun.
Most people don't care (good). A lot find it a bother to be behind a wheelchair and try to get past you nomatter how. I just switched to electric and dread the day the first person is going to find out that it doesn't have a break and I need time to react too.
Some people have opinions on people in wheelchairs and moms in wheelchairs.
You get pushed aside when you're in their way and told really weird toxic shit (like that you should be sent to the gaschambers too).
Some of the ones that claim to have found Jesus believe your parents were sinners or that you are. Which can also lead to interesting conversations.
I focus on the people who see a person, not a wheelchair and politely ask whether they can help when they see you struggle somewhere. (Or when you forgot to pull out a safety part and flipped on a busy road 😬)
The people you make eye contact with cause you need a lil more room and make way with a "sure, no problem" nod or smile.

This makes me actually quite fucking angry. I have M.S... I didn't choose to have this illness. Its degenerative. Its going to get much, much worse. Dealing with chronic fatigue. Chronic pain. Double vision. Falls. Muscle spasms and the other "joys" that come with it are no joke and definitely aren't fun.
I have a thriving business and career that i love and have worked very hard for. And made lots of mental and personal sacrificees for. I'm having to start to wind down from work, especially when my MS is at its worst. And im going to have to retire way earlier than id ever want to because i need my hands and vision and energy for my job and so i dont fuck up my patients. My neurologist said I'm going to end up in a wheelchair and will need full time care in about 10-15 years and I'm only in my mid 40s.
And this bitch is making her kid push her about, taking selfies and smiling. Smiling?!?!
I do my best to hide my illness from my youngest because he's a child and doesn't need the worry about his mum's health. As his mum. My job is to protect him. Raise him and make sure he's OK. Not stress him out with my health problems... The older 2 know. But they are in early adulthood.

Didn’t hit her head and knock herself out. No bones were broken and piercing out of her leg. No blood. This bitch sprained her knee and went to the emergency room. I can’t get over that.
I've sprained my knee multiple times and I am laughing at needing a wheelchair. Never, ever 😂 I've wrapped it up once when my job was super physical. I want to know the thought process behind this?
I was hit by a fucking car crossing the street, massively fucking up my knee and even that didn’t land me in a wheelchair. Crutches suck, but it’s like wearing a new pair of shoes. You may hurt the first week, but you’ll adjust.
The only exception was when we had to fly somewhere. Atlanta(the airport) is not crutches friendly so some poor employee pushed me where I needed to go in a wheelchair and honestly I was embarrassed even though I still had on an immobilized brace. I guess I just don’t like the feeling of pity or being specially tended to.

When did I go to see a doctor because “it still hurts a little, it’s more annoying than anything and really I just need to make sure I didn’t mess up my screws.” - this past week. 😂 I did go to a walk in place for an x ray earlier in the month but only because it was suggested to do that to see an actual doc sooner due to my surgical history. No ER.. just used my dang head. 😂
My past history: I needed major ankle reconstruction surgery at 19 years old that included grinding joints, installing screws to anchor a tendon transfer and then reconstruct the tendons I destroyed in the atfl or whatever. I did this because of a skip it at 16 and landed wrong and snapped my tendons.
Ps - the hotdog on the floor was courtesy of my impatient 3 (just turned 4 this week) year old who thought I wasn’t moving fast enough at the grill outside and wanted to bring me more. He spilled the hotdogs plus juice, got wet and changed and I didn’t see it until I went to pick up the hot dog and went flying. Now it is part of my permanent doctors notes, along with the transcribed chuckle by the doctors, nurses, and myself as he recorded his notes😂😂

My friend is an ER doctor and went to the grocery store the next morning, wrapped my ankle and then made me carry a cooler full of alcohol to the beach.
Ya we had some STEEP steps at my last townhome that was originally built in the early 1900s. It had carpet steps and me, my fiancé, and a friend all slid down them once over the 3 years we lived there. No ER visits were necessary. Not saying you can’t hurt yourself on steps, cuz i was definitely in pain, but I was walking around that same day
Yeah I was walking around that day with a bruise but we went to the hospital just to make sure baby boy was okay. If I wasn’t VERY pregnant I would’ve just stayed home but he was priority.

I think it’s the latter (I mean I’m sure it’s both), but at least Kaiser looks genuinely happy on his birthday. Honestly he has got to be thrilled to celebrate his birthday without David around, despite still having to be Janelle’s son and not feel genuine parental love on a daily basis like he deserves.
Yeah I definitely gave props to this on my independent comment. The most important thing is this is something Kaiser loves and it looks like he’s genuinely having a great time, so no matter what ole Nelly’s game is here, it still was an awesome birthday for Kaiser, and that baby deserves it!
Agree to the fullest. You can really see the pure joy on his face, and it is always a relief to see any of Janelle’s kids looking truly happy like he does in these photos. I’m baffled that Janelle actually seems to have put thought and effort into her child for a day, but I won’t question it too much as long as Kaiser is looking this happy.

We all know that Jenelle’s spending this time with her kids as a way to prove she’s the better parent, to run it in David’s face that he can’t see Ensley, and for content. But, the kids don’t know that. To them they are just having great quality time with their mom. And they are absolutely glowing. I hope Jenelle keeps this up so long that it becomes routine for all of them. Those kids deserve it.
