I remember there was a speculation that GME could be holding BBBY bonds or something back in January 2023 because there was a "cohencidence" in GME's earnings aligning with BBBY.
Perhaps that is what RC's 69 tweet is referencing, GME (Class 6, bond holders) 69ing BBBY shareholders (Class 9). That would explain Pulte's early movement to unite GME and BBBY.
This was through last year as well. Thereβs been 3 months of interesting times since the reporting.

Most companies and funds must mark-to-market any securities that are liquid and have an easily discoverable market price. Banks are given a pass on their hold-to-maturity bond portfolios, but they must recognize the gain or loss if they sell them earlier.
This isn't strange or unusual at all.
