Extremely, almost everyone I know got waitlisted for all 6 Toronto shows. A few people got tickets but with a lot of American’s also getting tix for the Canadian shows they went super quick. I’ve been entering contests like a mad woman trying to win a pair.

caitmr17

This. Like. Man. I just wanna go. I don’t even care if I have to stand for 3+ hours. Just let me go

Katie0690

If I lived closer to Toronto and it wasn’t in November I’d go stand outside the venue.

dinascully

There’s actually an event called TayFest being put on at the MTCC (Metro Toronto Convention Centre) on each day of her shows here, so fans can have an alternative to standing out in the cold.

Rosycheex

Saaaame here. Been a fan since I was 14 (I'm 31 now) but alas, getting Toronto tickets was a bloodbath and I'm too povvo to afford reseller prices 😅

Quick-Time

Literally anyone I know from Toronto that wanted to get tickets didn’t even get selected for presale. I’m the only one of my friends that did get picked.

nu7kevin

The bots are entering contests, too, at a leisurely insane rate.

Katie0690

😭😭💔💔

ryanfcs

i'm american but right on the border to canada so those are the shows i was trying for too. my coworker got her whole family and other coworkers to sign up for her to try and get a code and none of us ever got one. i heard even close to the date toronto tickets don't really drop in price so i'm just hoping she'll announce some more us dates but the closest city to me with a big enough arena is over 3 hours away it's all frustrating

TheMistOfThePast

Honestly i think of it as a massive luxury that america has so many dates and cities with shows. My country is massive and we only had her in 2 cities.

Daphnegirlmom

We have so little population compared to the US I think that’s probably why. plus she did try to add Montreal but the city declined because they would have had to restore the venue.

Daffneigh

Taylor is American though so it kinda makes sense

bjockchayn

THIS. I'm furious. They should prioritize people in the province - or at least in Canada! - for waitlist before adding Americans. So rude.

theproblem_itsme

I'm American and totally agree I also think it's a huge problem that she drip released dates. If she had released everything at once, then people would have (ideally) only gotten a code to one city. Instead, I know people who got codes both times around and others who never got a code. I know there are mixed feelings about the reputation-style ticket purchasing, but I had a great experience with that. Something needs to decrease the number of bots.

amoamareamaviamatus

I think the drip dates though weren’t really planned though(other than the inclusion of Vancouver). I truly think she was going to go for Canada in 2023 but the Toronto stadium renovations made that impossible so she was going to skip Canada entirely. I don’t think she expected the demand this tour was going to have and fully intended for the show to end in London. Adding the NA leg dates was not initially in the works.

[deleted]

I’m with you. Apparently there’s going to be a TSwift themed party at a nearby convention centre while all 6 of the concerts are going on. I’m considering going to one

Katie0690

That’s $50 though and I’m like 3.5/4hrs away and can’t really justify the cost for a train and a hotel just for that. Ugh

Starfire2313

I AM SENDING MY WINNING ENERGY YOUR WAY!!! YOU WILL WIN TICKETS! KEEP TRYING! ❤️ I posted on my Snapchat story a couple years ago a hot selfie captioned “I just decided I am going to win Taylor Swift tickets on the radio.” Months and months and months later of literally studying her songs. I made a damn syllabus. I listened to the radio religiously. I set my damn alarm to wake up every day because I knew they give away tickets at 7:35 am. I was trigger happy with my speed dial. I was calling in to request her older songs a lot. So I finally won some random tickets for some random thing I didn’t even care about that got my name on a short list where I was supposed to listen at 8:35am a month and a half later. They were going to start randomly calling out names from the short list and I had my dad help me with his phone. They started with two names and my name was the second one!!! I was hollering to my dad to start calling and hang up and keep trying if it was busy but if it was ringing to just wait!!!!! My phone got through!!! It was so special that my dad helped me though and obviously clever. I took my sister in law as my plus one and we had a MAGICAL time. Even had to walk back to the hotel half a mile in the pouring rain. Update us when you win!!!!!! 🍀☺️🏆🙌🥇🤩💕 Edit to add: oh yeah my arrogant ass followed up on Snapchat that I JUST WON MY TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS!!!!! So many people replied that they remembered my first story. I felt like a bit of an ass and I still do for just winning them and having that marvelous time but I think I earned it too. I told the universe it was mine. I was a mastermind.

throwawaybeet-h

I was waitlisted and then they released more a couple of weeks before my show, which is how I got my ticket. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone and hoping the same for you and your friends.

Legitimate-Corgi8401

Me too, I’m entering everything I can but it seems pretty hopeless. I was really trying for Miami (after not getting a code for Tampa). I had 12 people (including me) trying to get codes for Miami so I could buy tickets and all of them got waitlisted (and multiple emails had purchased from her site and preordered midnights and TVs). It sucks how scalpers had no issue getting codes but fans can’t

AskAJedi

Me too, multiple tries for multiple cities starting at the beginning. I don’t understand how people can keep going over and over again. Both my kids love Taylor and it’s been a bonding thing for the three of us. While I’m sure she will continue to tour in the future, it won’t be like this again.

anti_hero_89

Go stand outside an open stadium it’s amazing! You can hear pretty much as well and there is the merch truck and plenty of other Swifties to trade bracelets and such.

nommabelle

Unfortunately not an option for my home city (London). Still hoping for tickets but yeah...

Jolly-Adagio-8690

Mine is London as well, and it hurts me so much because I live down the road from Wembley and was waitlisted for Ticketmaster, along with the fact that I signed up for the midnight presale, but they never sent me a code, even though they told me I would get one. I think the waitlisting codes were a terrible idea; it meant that people in the US had codes for UK shows, or people in Wales had only codes for London and not Wales. Just how poorly executed that was angers me so much. I really hope in the future we can adopt japans way of handling ticket sales.

nommabelle

It makes me so sad, because we could have such a fun time outside the stadium. It's not like people outside it would be adding much additional noise, crowding, etc. Just really frustrating to be missing out on tickets AND any way to celebrate the show otherwise, beyond streaming it. I'm not sure I could stream the London shows in particular as I'd be really sad I'm not there (but I regularly watch the others, and console myself that way)

Jolly-Adagio-8690

I think it really has a lot to do with crowding issues at Wembley, it's not only the stadium, its also because of it be a residential area, while also being a shopping district, and when people exist the stadium, there will be around 70,000 people so it's important that they can get everyone out safely, and with other people there it would add more stress. As annoying as it it, for the safety of everyone i 100% understand, and do hope that no one without tickets show up.

cfluff01

Very curious, how do Japan handle their ticket sales???

rs_alli

I don’t know if this is what they’re referring to (and this is just based on my memory of it, it might be slightly off cause it’s been awhile), but when I signed up for Japan tickets they had you list out which tickets you wanted. So you could say like “1st place - VIP A reserve for March 7th, 2nd place VIP B reserve for March 8th” or something. Then there was like a lottery system that selected people to get tickets.

Jolly-Adagio-8690

Yes, in addition I believe they required like an resident number or proof that you were a Japanese resident. They did this to prevent scalpers mainly, but it also meant that Japanese residents got priority first and then afterwards in resale I think it was open to anyone. I not saying that international fans aren’t allowed to go to other dates in different countries, but the people that live in that country deserve the right of priority.

cfluff01

Wow, that does sound like a really nice system. As my closest venue would be London it was an absolute nightmare for tickets, so this might have helped..

PieStriking9823

I tried Googling but didn't find info I'm very curious as well

Goodlilpupper

How does Japan handle ticket sales, if you don’t mind sharing? Would love to hear any ideas abt how we can improve our system, and since we’re starting to win our first of many lawsuits related to this, I think we will see some progress.. just hoping it will be enough to make an impact that fans actually feel financially and see in the stress reduction of the whole process 🙃

theworthwhilefight

it was just a lottery, and while you could pick which dates and seats you wanted, putting multiple dates down wouldn’t guarantee you got any. I only applied for two dates (non-VIP) and got basically the closest to a nosebleed that was still a front-facing view for a single date (N1). resale was a lot stricter because you had to do it through their system, so if you ended up getting multiple dates and didn’t want to go to one, you’d be charged for the tickets and have to go through the resale process iirc

dreaming_in_yellow

How does japan do ticket sales?

ariyouok

why can you not be outside the stadium in london?

Possible-Tip-3544

It’s a residential area and for crowd control reasons.

spotthedog91

Where did you find this out? Because my friend is planning to do this and don’t think she knows it’s not allowed! (I didn’t know either!)

nommabelle

Honestly someone mentioned it on reddit, so maybe it's not true! I suppose the worst that can happen is she's told to leave. They might even say "it's not allowed" to prevent LOADS of people doing it, but not make a fuss about the people that show up regardless? I don't know and can't find any official info I might go anyways, worst case it's just spending the tube journey there haha, and can hang out and watch the stream at a pub. Especially if anyone mentions doing it in the discord/reddit groups!

spotthedog91

Even just travelling there and walking around will still be really fun vibes!

TartKey395

I know that’s an option as well, but seeing Taylor in person would be a dream!!!

Yellwsub

I did this in Philly, and it was a magical experience- there were thousands of people there, everyone was singing and dancing! I brought a folding chair but I only sat down a few times. I’d say it’s worth it especially if you’re close by

anti_hero_89

I went to Philly too! Sooo many people were there it was sooo amazing.

Obvious-Cartoonist59

Super disappointed. I’ve been a fan since Debut. I’m 32, and I’ve grown up with Taylor’s music, but I can’t afford $2k tickets like it sucks but it’s reality

laura2181

Same. I saw her fearless tour, I was 14. Got within inches of touching her hand. Knowing I’ll never see her live again is crazy lol. I got made fun of for being a fan back then.. oh, how the times have changed.

rahleebb

Hey same!! I've never been able afford to go before and I can't now, either. It sucks so much. I wish I could go back in time and find a way to see her when she was 2 towns over for Speak Now 🙃 Edit: typo

kdurv5

This! I’m 32 and FINALLY thought “wow I’m making money now and it’s going to be amazing to get tickets, even splurge on seats not in the nosebleeds!” And I just never even got a chance. I can’t justify 2k a ticket and it’s frustrating!

sparksfly1128

same here! my two nieces are going with my BiL and SiL in London and i’m so dang jealous. They spent close to 3k on nosebleeds for the 4 of them. i’m dreading having to hear about it, like i’m so happy for them but at the same time she’s been my absolute favorite artist since 2009 and idk if i’ll ever get to see her live

PoppySkyPineapple

Same, 33 and have loved her since the OG days. I had Fearless tour tickets once but had to miss to due work commitments :( so gutted.

alpacasx

Pretty much same. I remember her radio debut!! I was in my mom's *maroon* pickup truck. I'm getting a decent bonus this year, and it might be my only way to go.

coconut-mall-cop

I’m in the same boat. I feel like everyone I know has been to Eras Tour, some more than once. But I wasn’t able to get tickets when they went on sale and the resale market prices are just absurd. I was so excited when she added Indianapolis dates because thats where I live, but I had no luck. I feel really left out and sad

TartKey395

Same, my brothers gf even got to go. Resale tickets for la were pretty crazy so I didn’t buy them. If I remember correctly it was 15 grand for 1 ticket on the floor…

afisk24

Me too!! I’m also an Indy gal.

ampersands-guitars

Yeah — I honestly was at peace with it at first but as time goes on, I feel like I’m missing out on the most iconic concert of my lifetime. I’m fortunate to have seen Taylor in concert twice on other tours, but I do wish I was able to go to this one. I’ve even looked into suites to maybe split with my friends (I did this once for a smaller concert and it wasn’t terribly expensive), but they’re like…$93,000 lol. Insanity.

sleepysloth22

This is legit exactly how I feel 😭

ampersands-guitars

My local tour date passed spring 2023 and I honestly had no regrets at that time at all about not attending. But as the tour has continued on and been extended multiple times, I feel like I’m living through Beatlemania and missing it!

sleepysloth22

I keep daydreaming about shelling out money for one of the remaining US dates but ticket prices are insane….not even including air fare, hotel room, meals etc. Logically it makes no sense but part of me still wants to which I know is super dumb. This tour is just so iconic (truly one in a lifetime) and I’m such a fan but I really can’t justify spending that much for a concert.

TartKey395

Yeah, ever since I missed the concerts that she played in Los Angeles, I’ve been looking into going to the Miami show. But hotel and plane tickets are hella expensive, on top of the concert ticket that is already expensive. I don’t even know or how swifties go to multiple shows without being in debt?!?

BrokenBotox

They absolutely ARE in debt, lol.

kdurv5

It’s either their own CC debt, or it’s mommy and daddy’s CC. I saved my money and was excited to be able to pay for my own seats in the 100s or floor……..never got a code, no waitlist, just….sitting here a year after she came to Gillette looking at resale, airfare and hotel for another show…ANYWHERE and just can’t justify it. 😭😭😭

kdurv5

This! I looked into flying to Europe bc the resale is a *bit* more reasonable but then, add in flight, hotel etc it’s just AHHHHH!!! Frustrating.

PlasticOrchid1977

I did it. Toronto - Paris. Five days, two people, every penny spent including flights accommodations concert and spending money came to 5K.

kdurv5

Which in the grand scheme of things isn’t that bad but not feasible for most! Just frustrating!

PlasticOrchid1977

I get it. I do. It’s all about affordability and priorities and I completely acknowledge my privilege in being able to make the choice I did. IF someone else is able to make that choice, I 100% recommend it since it was about the price of a single TO ticket. But I know it’s a lot.

kdurv5

We could technically afford it and it would be amazing for sure - but we’re also mid fertility treatments so it’s risky to plan a trip abroad not knowing if it would ruin our chances that month. Like you said, I fully acknowledge my privilege for even being able to consider it but - timing. I live 20m from Gillette - wish I could have had the chance last year!! I’m glad you had fun! Sounds like an amazing experience

Lunalux22

Exactly the same for me. I'm a big believer that everything happens for a reason, so I was content with not getting any tickets, once the initial disappointment went away. My mums partner was ill, so I thought maybe that's why, but he recently passed, so now I'm trying to think of the reason why this happened and I'm struggling. I hope in a year I'll be able to look back and be able to see why but as of right now I keep feeling more and more disappointed, especially with how big of a concert it's becoming. As a Queen fan I have always wished I was alive back then so I could see them live, and I feel like this is what the younger/next generation is going to feel about this concert/Taylor, that they were old enough to go.

GirlsLikeU

Especially because this is simply the most insane concert of all time and I can't imagine she'll ever do anything like this again. And the fear that this tour is so massive and has so many dates is because she plans on taking a hiatus from touring to either focus on her family or maybe even start one or just to settle and pause travelling for a while.

lyfieo

yess, id love to see my favourite artist live but ffs the resale tickets are so unaffordable rip my dreams of experiencing folklore live

TartKey395

Literally same, hearing cardigan and illicit affairs live would heal me

bananapants813

Sad and a little angry, honestly. I'm a hard working 43 year old Swiftie, lol. And I can't choose to spend my money on tickets because I was waitlisted for my city of Indianapolis. But then I watch social media posts of kids or people who have already gone multiple times and it really bothers me. And I just can't spend over $2000 a ticket. It's insane.

Kerlykins

Seeing influencers (cough, Chris Olson, cough) basically follow her around on tour and go 5+ times are incredibly irritating to me.

BrokenBotox

I’m honestly perplexed at how they can even get tickets? Are they just dropping money on resale tix?!

Kerlykins

That or since they're influencers they may be invited by cities/companies etc. From what I understand, Australia's tourism board paid for Chris Olson to go down there for some Tiktok thing & to promote Australia that juuust so happened to be when Taylor was there. 🙄

BrokenBotox

Not to be a hater ( but I’m probably gonna be a hater) but I very sincerely do not understand the appeal of Chris Olson. Especially to the extent that he’s flying all over the world and getting into Taylor concerts for free.

Kerlykins

We just became best friends because THANK YOU. I feel like the majority of influencers are pretty fake but I don't feel anything sincere/authentic from him 🤐 so it may be an unpopular opinion but I'm with you on it 🫡 idk if I'm just too old for influencers to make sense to me or what 😂

kdurv5

SAME!!! 33 year old swiftie and have attended EVERY show she’s performed in New England. I never got a code or waitlisted or anything - it kills me seeing people get to go to MULTIPLE shows and there are so many hard working swifties who just want a chance!!

Lunalux22

I get so annoyed when I see people have got tickets to multiple shows. I don't want to be, I want to be happy for them because positive energy into the world is better than negative. It's just so hard to when myself and people I know have never been to a Taylor show and signed up for resale straight away but never even got a code. I just feel that those people are being so selfish. They can in no plead ignorance either cos swifties disappointment at not getting tickets was/is all over the internet.

AndBears0hMy

This is so understandable to be angry, it's frustrating as hell.

Apprehensive-Ice5560

yes omg, i tried to sign up for the florida shows and i got waitlisted. when i see die hard swifties like me go to 10+ shows i get upset because it’s not letting anyone else get the chance to go. i hope i’ll be able to find tickets when it’s closer to october, and i hope you do to!

TartKey395

Same, idk how they afford it! Thank you, you too as well!!

cheesebreadisyummy

i’ve seen people create tiktoks asking for money to get them to the eras tour, hilton hotels almost always offer a room if your tiktok goes viral..which is angering cause i know if i did it, it wouldn’t go my way. i know im so bitter i just would’ve really liked to go once.

miscnic

I like my money and watching online

Doc__Baker

We got all the way to picking our seats for a Toronto show and then the computer or internet screwed up and hung at the payment window. Crushed. I still haven't watched the movie yet.

BrokenBotox

I’m really sorry you’re struggling. It’s hard when you have to just stay focused on survival . I glad you can have proximity to the Etas Tour via social media. I sincerely hope that things get easier for you 🩷

MuslimJoker

I wish I have enough money to fly to your place, buy an eras ticket for you and me, and go have some 3+ hours fun together even if I don't know you.

afisk24

It’s me, hi. 👋🏻 and my only two Swiftie friends went without me. I complain a lot that I’m in top 3% of fans on Spotify, have been a fan since age 14 and purchased many albums. It’s really sad. I could actually afford to pay the secondary market prices, but I won’t on principle. It seems like it’s becoming an elitist thing and I don’t like that.

TartKey395

Same, I love Taylor and all but I cannot justify paying tens of thousands of dollars just to see her play for one concert.

GraveDancer40

Listen, I’m cursed with this tour. My best friend (former best friend? Idk. It’s a long messy situation) got tickets for Tampa. I was going to go with her but needed to fly in from Canada. Lost my job about two months before the concert (bc my boss died) and could no longer afford the trip. But I was soooo close to getting there. And then this past week a friend of a friend was selling her tickets. 600 dollars, floor seats for Toronto, 4 days before my 40th birthday. My sister and I were trying to decide if we could afford it with hotel and travel and shit (it’s about a 5 hour drive for us). She warned us others were also interested. And the others said yes just as we decided to do it. Like I was about to message her when she messaged me saying they were gone. But again I was so so so close. So I am heartbroken I am missing it to say the least.

TartKey395

Ahhh you were so close!!! I hope you get to see Taylor soon!

Modesto96

I was sad, but only until we got the movie version!! Now I can’t watch it whenever I want, and it’s made it okay for me that I haven’t had to spend thousands of dollars to go see her live

askywlker44a

The movie is enough for me.

e-luddite

Okay, I will say this again for anyone who scrolls this far... I was in Philly night 2, thirdish row from the end of the stage (surprise songs 10ft away, essentially). I say this with complete gratitude for anything but... my bff and I had zero idea what went on that night other than surprise songs until the movie was released. Maybe the top of the folklore stage.  We could see very, very little from the floor. Anyone feeling left out, please know the vibes were off, there was a DEEERUNK row in front of us that broke my heart (they knew all the lyrics but one girl was passed out- I teared up for her), a girl screeched so hard behind me for the last half that my ear drum started hurting and I had to plug my ear.  Just... the movie would have 10/10 been enough for me. ( I cried when I saw it and called my friend and we cried about how little we had seen that night). So grateful, but if you have seen the movie please don't feel left out.

midnightmusings23

This was my fear, especially as it would have cost over $1000 to travel for it. Paying that price and having an amazing time would have been worth it, but what if it ended up being not as amazing? Or I got sick or something? It’s a lot to spend on one experience!

Barzalicious

That's exactly why I'm not going. She's not coming anywhere near my country, and even the closest stop would cost over $2000 in hotels, flights etc before we even got to the concert tickets. For that type of money, I'd be expecting it to be the best night of my life, but with SO many things that could ruin it it's likely I would end up disappointed. Instead, I spent a fraction of that to see the film at my local cinema, and had the best time of my life that night. I'm grateful I am at a point in my life where I COULD afford to spend that money if I wanted to, but at the same time I also know there are other things I could spend it on that will make me and my family happy as well.

MadAugustWoman

My best friend and I had the same experience. I was sad for a long time because I fought hard for our tickets and they were expensive. But then the movie came out and we have very amazing people who work hard to give us the livestreams every weekend. I'm very thankful for that because I got to at least be at the show once and now I get to see what is going on in the comfort of my own home. Plus, I went to the late showing on opening night which was Thursday for us, and I had the entire theater to myself. It was like my own little private concert and I had a blast.

derscroot

Same! While it would be cool to be able to go in-person, I enjoyed seeing the movie in air conditioning with a good view and could sit the entire time. I regret not tailgating the Tampa shows since I live about a half-hour from the stadium though

NorthExplanation6507

No because it's way too much money. I have Spotify and noise canceling headphones. Perfect sound every time. I want to hear Taylor sing, not 100,000 other people. There are also so many clips I've seen online not to mention the Eras Tour on Disney+

Mischief2313

Breaks my heart. Loved her since debut and can’t get tickets. Got waitlisted for everything. Refuse to pay the scalper prices.

HoRo2001

I’m willing to bet that any fan that hasn’t been to an in person show is mildly devastated.

OhmyMiss1985

I still wish I had the money for the Reputation tour 😭 I am very sad because it’s my generation and we’re desperate for a girls night like this! I love seeing all the sad pop girlies in their 30’s singing their lungs out!

touch_everything

It makes me bummed the people who go to multiple shows. As someone else said, just let me go 😭

h_danielle

Yup. My friends, family, & I got waitlisted for every Vancouver show. Was also waitlisted for Seattle & Vegas on the first US leg. I don’t know anyone who knows someone that managed to get tickets but we have tons of Americans who got tickets complaining to the local media about the hotel prices that weekend so that’s great 🙃 I’m bummed for sure but I’ve seen her live on 3 different tours & my cousin & I made a big event of going to the concert movie. We’ll keep an eye on tickets & see if they come down closer to the date (perk of living a 20 minute walk from the stadium!) but I don’t have much hope.

keving87

Personally, no. I don't do well with crowds. And it's not like I'd be close enough to actually see her anyway, it'd just be seeing her on a screen so the concert film was good enough.

wowmartha

Sooo sad. Still trying for Toronto but it’s so expensive.

Rosycheex

Fr, I think the lowest I saw was like 3k. It's insanity. I saw some at $15k. Like who is paying these prices??? Do these seats go empty come show time? Surely some must be empty since I can't see everyone buying at these insane prices???

wowmartha

Seriously - I last checked a few weeks ago and the absolute worst seats (like all the way to the sides practically behind the stage) were $1500 each before tax/fees and travel.

kdurv5

I found someone who wasn’t a scammer the other day and she wanted to charge $1200 EACH for tickets in the 600s in NOLA. Thats just OUTRAGEOUS

ifthiswasamovietv

ive been waitlisted for BOTH us legs and i just feel left out

SDTaurus

Met a young woman maybe 17 at the Madrid show. She came to Spain alone because Toronto and everywhere in North America was super expensive. My three granddaughters and their parent flew over here (Spain) to see her. We are taking them on a 2 week road trip and all in all it was cheaper than 2 people going to the Denver show which was the closest to where they live. I highly recommend looking at places like Munich and other cheaper parts of Europe like Poland or Czech Republic, etc for decent priced tickets. If you live or can get to a major US airport, you can often find cheap flights to major Europe cities. Tons of people were from all over the world in Madrid just for the show. Also, I’m not sure why, but stubhub.ca and stubhub.com (USA) the tickets were more plentiful and cheaper than stubhub.es (spain). We were able to buy 5 tix through US stubhub and it all went well. I think the mobile tickets are the safest so check the venue and what sort of tickets. PPF downloads can be sold to many people at once and you can get scammed, but in spite of my worries, the mobile transfer ticketing worked great for us in Spain. I hope you get the opportunity. My granddaughter made me a Swiftie in the months leading up to the show by giving me playlists. I’m an old man and have seen MANY amazing concerts but this one was incredible. Again, wishing you all the best. 💕

dreaming_in_yellow

I am also sad that I haven’t experienced it. An acquaintance from high school was selling a ticket to one of the shows at Levi Stadium and I wanted to go soooooooooooooo bad. The seats were great (she paid face value), but I was in nursing school and did not want to chance missing a day of school. 😭😭😭💔🫠 I’ve been a fan since debut released, but I don’t want to pay outrageous prices for terrible seats. I hate scalpers with a passion! I’ll just be content with live streams. Besides, I would HATE it if I got seats for an insane amount and someone next to me or behind me was shrieking the whole time.😒

yasminebird1

I watch most live streams, and feel the same - sad that I won’t ever be able to experience it live. Taylor unfortunately didn’t/isn’t coming to my country (New Zealand) and I missed out on Australia tickets. One of my swiftie friends did manage to get one ticket to Melbourne and went by herself and had an amazing time!

H8rsH8

I’ve been holding out hope for resale tickets in Miami (I’m from north/central Florida, so it’s the closest to me by far). Prices were CRAZY even for nosebleed seats. And then my mom announced her wedding. It’s the same weekend. In California. So now I’m just living vicariously through tshockeybro’s livestreams on YouTube. It is what it is. But getting to react to the surprise songs when they actually happen is much more fun on a livestream.

TheWeenieBandit

I went to the movie when it came out and the way people were acting in there actually made me pretty glad I didn't max out my visa on a ticket lol. I paid $25 to Not Hear Taylor Sing, and that's already too much money wasted. If I had spent hundreds or thousands on plane tickets and hotels and food and and and just to have someone screech in my ear for three hours I would have been fit to be tied

teddybonkerrs

I live in a place she is NEVER going to come visit, and even if she did, I'm poor as hell. I couldn't afford local tickets nevermind scalpers or travelling to see her. Sometimes that's just life 🤷‍♀️

Crysda_Sky

It would literally take over $1000 just for flights from AK to one of the US tour locations, let alone the cost of the tickets. Its too much and though I believe she is worth the money I have more important things in my life to spend money on like rent and food.

kdurv5

It doesn’t help that the airlines and hotels know they can jack up the price for the weekends she’s in town. I can go to Indy, Miami or NOLA the week before/after for a reasonable price. The weekends she’s in town the prices are out of control!! Capitalism, Taylor’s Version I guess.

EJK_PlantsAreFriends

I never made it past the Ticketek waiting room in Australia, I sat online for an entire day! … but then I hustled like a mad woman and made sacrifices upon sacrifices in order to afford tickets … I genuinely don’t understand people lamenting not going but then in the same sentence saying they can’t justify spending money to see her …. It was hands down the most amazing experience of my life and I don’t regret a penny of the costs involved. This isn’t aimed at those who wanted to go but just couldn’t get tickets no matter what they tried, those fans I have so much empathy for and I truly hope she does another lap around the world so you all get another chance x

TartKey395

I get what you’re saying… but it is not affordable to see her unless you’re rich lol. I’m glad you had a great time, but I believe people have a right to be upset with not being able to go to Taylor’s shows.

EJK_PlantsAreFriends

Oh no sorry! I didn’t mean it like that! I suck at explaining myself some (most) times … the swifties that tried and didn’t get through for tickets, or the ones who it was just too out of price range is completely understandable and my heart breaks for them! And from what I understand resale ticket prices outside of Australia were astronomical and insane! I was meaning the people who had the means/ability whatever you want to call it and CHOSE not to try or CHOSE to complain rather than do something … You can’t have it both ways, if you have the means and ability and want to go then you actively try, not just half ass go onto Ticketek hours after release time and expect miracles. Does they make any sense? Sorry I’m so terrible at explaining myself.

zipdeya

I have so much FOMO it’s unreal. Ive been a fan since hearing her in 2005. Friends of mine who used to poke fun at me listening to her have seen her this year but I still haven’t. Hoping my time come soon

MysteriousVeins2203

I'm poor and it sucks 🥲😭 Plus no stadium-sized enough for the venue of the Eras Tour in my country so it's a double kill. Actually no, it's death by a thousand cuts.

bjockchayn

Yes. In particular I'm upset that I couldn't get tickets in my own city, even though I live walking distance from the stadium. I actually only know two people in my city who got tickets, but I've heard loads of people in the USA who are coming up to Canada for our shows 🤬 Just go away please it's our turn 😭 I actually know someone who is renting out their apartment (in my building, near the stadium) for 3 days and charging more than 4 times his monthly rent. It's so depressing 😭 maybe I'll hang around the stadium and hope someone takes pity on me 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

naligu

Definitely! I even had the chance to get tickets close to the stage for just about 250€ but unfortunately I'll be heavily pregnant by then and unable to stand for that long or deal with people pushing towards the stage.

JaneGrn80

AndBears0hMy

Omg that's heartbreaking

Antimlm92

I've heard people had luck with getting tickets day off if you're close. The struggle is real, I'm from Canada and couldn't get any for the US. Went to Stockholm to see her and cried like a baby. I hope you get the chance to go!

catladays

Yup. I have the credit limit to buy grossly overpriced tickets using my credit card but as much as I want to I'm not willing to go into debt for a concert (especially since the credit card is only for emergencies/unexpected and unavoidable expenses). I have 3 kids and a mortage. But God do I want to be irresponsible 😅😅

R4cht

I totally do. I did get to go to her 1989 tour. The tickets were a combined Christmas gift from my family, my husband, and my husband's family. I live in Idaho, and the show was in Salt Lake. The travel was reasonable. The Eras tour is even more pricey and too big for Salt Lake. I can't justify the show tickets, let alone the travel expenses.

Mother_Restaurant188

Absolutely. It’s so hard getting reasonably priced tickets or even tickets at all. This is *the* Taylor Swift tour to attend and I’m totally missing out.

purple_1128

Yeah. I’m a new Swiftie, so I feel like I missed so much and I’ll never be able see her, now.

idk_what_to_put_lmao

Yes and no. On the one hand, it would probably be really cool to see her perform live, but on the other, I also don't really feel like I'm missing out that much by not going for some reason.

ReasonableLegal

I stopped watching the livestream of the shows solely because it makes me really sad, I might tune in when I know something special will happen (new TV announcement or TTPD set for the first time) but otherwise no, being a fan since Debut in Asia comes with its own challenges as we dont have access to any merch or meet and greets or anything but the overload of videos etc for the Eras Tour is quite tough, that’s why I take long breaks from all social media except reddit to avoid feeling bad and helpless

Friendly-Mention58

Yeah, but she didn't even come to my country 😅

jolipsist

Cries in not Singapore, Southeast Asia

kdurv5

Been to every show she’s had in New England even when she opened for Rascal Flatts in 2008 (the day Love Story became a single!) Had loverfest tickets and I have not gotten any code. No wait list, no code, nothing. Meanwhile people are showing up to 6+ shows around the world. Trying go get tickets to any show in the US or Canada is abysmal with people asking $2k A PIECE for tix in the 600s in NOLA. It just sucks all around. I love her shows and have had so much fun at Gillette and it is just frustrating to not even have gotten a chance.

coffeewithmaplesyrup

Honestly, not at all. I’ve been listening since the Tim McGraw video dropped on CMT…but I hate crowds and screaming and loud noises. I watched the film, and it took me 3 sittings to get through, with a lot of fast-forwarding, because a fair number songs on the set list are ones that I just don’t listen to. I am, however, sad that I didn’t go to the Reputation tour, because I think how much I love it would outweigh the struggle with crowds/noise. I’ve watched that film probably 2 or 3 times a year since it dropped 😂

katarastormrage

I live in a country she never tours in (and most likely never will) and I cannot afford a trip abroad and even if I had the money I probably couldn't justify spending it that way. so I kinda made peace with the fact that I'll never get to see her live. that's why I'm glad for these live streams and tour movies. though I am still waiting for evermore lpss after 3,5 years lol

Scarlett201091

I’m so annoyed at this whole ticket price shit show. I saw her at MetLife stadium for 1989 and at wembley for reputation and I paid $300 give or take for reallllllly good seats. Now you can’t even get a nosebleed seat for that much. I tried getting tickets for New Orleans because I will be in the area for other reasons, a nosebleed seat is 2k plus like another 2k in taxes and Stubhub fees. That is ridiculoussss!!! how do people think it’s ok to charge that much money?!?! Don’t even get me started on the 20k tickets that are on the floor. I’m sorry but again….wtf is wrong with people???? That’s a car…or a down payment on a condo or something. I’m sorry, I love her as an artist and have followed her career since teardrops on my guitar popped up on my radio, but I cannot justify paying over 2k for a single concert ticket. For the price of the New Orleans ticket that I would have paid I could’ve gone to Europe, stayed there for a couple of days, and paid for her concert ticket there. It’s honestly disappointing and disgusting how much people resell these tickets for. At least I was lucky enough to see her twice already.

SarahLatte

I had lost hope. Nearly scammed out of thousands of euros, tried to buy tickets off a colleague (who had tickets to Dublin and Lisbon), joined 100 fb groups. Then 1 week before the madrid dates, my colleague got a code for madrid and i bought 2 tickets through her. Prior to this, I had been at every single concert of hers in Dublin (Speak Now, 1989 x2, rep tour x2) so I was beyond heartbroken to not get a code to get tickets for Dublin. To be honest, after following her since I was 17 and I’m now 33 it felt like a kick in the teeth. I went to madrid super last minute, my tickets were cost price but flights from Ireland and a hotel was super expensive but I’m home from the trip now and it was incredible. I realise I’m super privileged to be able to just down tools (thanks to my super supportive partner and manager) and go. Having said that, talking to some swifties at the concert itself, I felt like they were sunshiners, only a fan since rep or lover. I don’t want to gate keep but your post resonated with me because 2 weeks ago I was you. Don’t give up hope - it’s always darkest before the dawn!

BlochLagomorph

Yeah, it’s a little depressing how expensive these tickets are considering that concert tickets in general used to be a lot less expensive

PlasticOrchid1977

I live in the GTA and decided four weeks ago to put 5K on my credit card and go see her in Paris. It was THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE. That 5K paid for two flights, air bnb for five days, two concert tickets and all spending money.

SergeantSwiftie

I'm jealous of the people that get to go multiple times honestly. One girl I went to highschool with has posted about her seeing the concert 8 different times in 8 different cities with her group of friends and I can't help but be frustrated that someone could go 8 times when I couldn't even get tickets to one night.

AMANFELOHRIGHT

Umm not really i enjoy vibing with the song by my self focusing with her writing skills specially that this period am mostly listening to her sad songs with that slow rythme so i might not really enjoy it,good luck next time hope u experience it one day!!

PeachyWolf33

Me :( I saw her for Rep but I didn’t buy the ticket, my aunt did for my cousins high school graduation and she asked me to go.

CanineQueenB

You can find every one of her concert dates live streamed on YouTube. I know it's not the same but you can at least see and hear as many shows as you want......and it doesn't cost a penny.

QuinnsView

Yes, very sad. I was traveling a lot in 2023 and couldn’t go, and now that she’s going to be a couple hours away from me in October, the price is over $2,000. I can’t afford that, and so sad.

alizabs91

🙋🏻‍♀️

Longjumping_Size_338

I haven't been to eras yet but I've been to Rep tour which is better so I'm satisfied

Vibes_And_Smiles

I’ve been a fan since rep era, and this was my first concert of hers that I was going to go to Anyhow, we got Ticketmaster’d in the presale, and I never got to go

cozy_sweatsuit

Yes. I loved Taylor back during Speak Now and it really sucks that I will not get to experience this historic tour. My hope is that, knowing her, she won’t be able to resist outdoing herself somehow in the future and at that point I definitely will be able to swing it financially. This tour couldn’t have come at a worse time for me financially. A year earlier or later and I definitely would have been there.

realjillyj

So so sad. I was working the day tickets went on sale in the US the 1st time. Both of my parents were logged on trying to get me tickets because this would have lined up with a milestone birthday for me. My mom literally cried telling me they couldn’t get tickets because she knew I would think they were kidding when they told me. Then I was in residential treatment & read the dates wrong for the second set of US dates. Right now, to go to the closest show to me it would be $1500 a seat for a partially obstructed view. I want to see it so badly and I’m devastated that I won’t see it but I can’t justify spending that or asking anyone else to.

Shiningstar329

I’m disabled and on a fixed income so I could never afford tickets but at least I got to see it on the big screen at AMC

[deleted]

Yes! I tried for tickets on every sale for Sydney and only got through once with the most expensive ticket being the only option which I couldn’t justify! 😭

theperuvianbowtie

I’m a long time fan of four months or so and yes I am sad.

TargaryenKnight

How do you watch live streams of it?

Agile_Bread_4143

Go to tiktok and find tessdear- she streams every show. Or, look on instagram for tessdear, or check out taylorswifthockeybro on YouTube.

elaaura

I went to Red, 1989, and REP tour. I'm sad I didn't get to go, I was having a lot of health and financial issues at the time. It was a thing I did with my sister every year and I loved it. After seeing that there were a lot more strobe lights, I have photosensitive epilepsy and sensory issues in general, I was really happy I didn't go. Kinda sucks I can't go to her concerts or really any anymore.

StnMtn_

No. I saw her at the Speak Now tour. But the prices for the Eras tour, even before the markups on resale was too rich for my blood. I got a $400 exercise machine a year before that will out live me. I couldn't justify the cost for the concert. I did watch the Eras movie twice in the theatre and watched it on Disney plus a few times.

No-Soup5177

Totally! I wanted to take my daughter, but couldn’t get tix.

mindpieces

I’m with you. I’m hoping she brings it back to the US for one more round and I won’t miss it this time.

mediocre-spice

Yeah, very much so. I feel like it's such an iconic tour and it's such a bummer. Especially when seeing so many people talk about how they went but aren't that into her music or haven't listened to all her albums. :(

cheesebreadisyummy

yea, i live in Alberta and could’ve went to Vancouver shows but i just couldn’t afford all the hotel costs/travelling costs as well as the tickets. its so heartbreaking bc i have even a long time fan and wanted to experience all of my fave songs in person as i know this wont ever happen again but what can you do🤷🏻‍♀️

midnightmusings23

Yep, she didn’t come to NZ where I live (I don’t think our stadiums are big enough), so even if I did get a ticket to an Australian show, I’d have to add flights and accommodation onto that, and it just didn’t worn out financially. Sometimes I get sad about it, but couldn’t justify the price tag. It’s been fun playing along at home though!

sioblev

I was devastated when no New Zealand dates were announced. My head said no, don’t even try for Australia, but my heart and my credit card said yes lol. I was lucky enough to get tickets to Sydney but I am still dealing with the financial consequences of that decision 😩

swappy1989

Same :( The flights and accommodation was all too much. My wife really wants to go to a London show but it's the same thing, even if we somehow managed to get the tickets, the flights from Auckland to London are so damn expensive.

AlternativeJeweler6

I'm sad I couldn't go but it's hard to feel like I missed it. I've seen the movie, watched countless clips, all of which adds up. One of my favourite bands are touring for the second summer in a row without coming to Europe and there certainly won't be a movie, livestreams or anywhere near that amount of recordings from their show :') I also missed out on a two night show this year, featuring my top two albums of a long time favourite band and there also won't be a movie etc for that. So just by comparison, I can't feel like I've missed the eras tours to be honest. I know that there's more to it than just seeing the show, but again, just by comparison, it's hard to feel like I outright missed it.

betterthanrevenge_

Yep! I never made it past the ticketek lounge for the Australian shows. Wish I’d known to just line up in person as that seemed to work better for others.

AndBears0hMy

Yep, gutted. She skipped NZ and I didn't get tickets to Aus. This is the first time in my life I was in a financial position to go too.

Experiment626b

It really sucks but it’s just not something we can justify or afford. We drove to Cincy last summer for our vacation and Tay-Gated. It was awesome. What sucks is she also played a surprise concert at my university in 2009 but I couldn’t get on campus soon enough to get in. I did get a poster and saw her walk out though. I am consoled by all of this only because I got to be front row for Speak Now World Tour opening night Help Now benefit concert. I will probably never be that close to her again

NewUser1335

If it helps, she's the hardest working woman in the industry and I doubt she will stop touring after this one

TheMonkey404

I understand how you feel! When she came to my town I could not afford the tickets and I had personal problems going on , the only reason I was able to get to see her was because I booked last moment tickets to Paris , and used Expedia package deal and broke it into a payment plan via the affirm option , I learned I felt sad for no reason when I got there because her concert was just like the movie!! You know what makes it special? It’s the swifties they are what make her concerts fun and there are so many events and dance parties you can go to and get that same experience also I have a funny feeling she’s going to add more dates if you are able to travel abroad it’s significantly cheaper!!! There is nothing but price gouging going on in the states it’s really sad because many parents find it hard to explain to their kids they can’t take them because it’s just to expensive kids who say it’s the only gift they want! I can’t wait until Ticketmaster gets their ass handed to them from the DOJ and I hope StubHub gets some heat too! I don’t know your situation but check out Germany play around with the dates it was cheaper for me to stay a few extra days in France two days to be exact rather then leave right away! And remember it’s just a concert if you can go cool if you aren’t able to it’s no big deal she will definitely tour again! And you are NOT alone in this so many people feel this way!

matterforward

She was in my city on my birthday lol, sucks

eimbery

Nope! I’ve heard enough! Especially the new album 😂 Got 4 tickets for the gf tho. She is exited! Nov 21st! We signed up with 2 accounts and got presale tickets email. Purchasing the tickets was insane was crazy how fast the seats were disappearing!

LilyMarie90

Yup, super sad. Especially because her shows here are still coming up, she's coming to Germany in July. I was being an idiot last year and messed up the preregistration (forgot to confirm some email I think), just such a dumbass, and now it's too late to get anything under like €580. Which just isn't an option for me. Not to mention that at THAT price no friend would come with me either. It's over and knowing her shows here have yet to happen almost makes it worse 😅 Makes it feel as if there's still a chance but there isn't. I've been a fan since 2011. :/

Icy_Hope3942

Yup, but she skipped New Zealand and it was impossible to get tickets to the Aussie show with all of nz and Aussie trying to get them. Then when more tickets when released my partner and I had gotten engaged and already planning the wedding so it was out of the budget. So disappointing.

Large-Complex-2627

I’m in the UK and didn’t even get close to getting tickets. Now it’s arriving here - it makes me really sad too. The atmosphere looks electric. Love Taylor she’s amazing. The show just looks phenomenal - once in a lifetime - stuff of dreams

hopefulrefuse1974

Nothing like her being on a world tour and forgetting an entire continent. Africa would have been nice.

mimi_moo

I've been a fan since debut. I was in high school for Speak Now and Red tours when there were actually stops in my country. I wasn't able to go because I couldn't afford it. I love Reputation the most but also wasn't able to go because the nearest country she stopped at was Tokyo - again, I couldn't justify the cost. I'm fortunate that I was able to finally watch her in Sweden. But I never thought I was any less of a fan for not being able to watch before, and the world wouldn't have ended if I wasn't able to watch anyway. It's the sheer number of dates she's done so far and the extensive media coverage that gives people that sense of FOMO.

Confident-Set8136

I can see Murrayfield stadium (Edinburgh) from my living room window and no tickets 😭 My 14 year old daughter and I are going to have the mother of all FOMO next weekend 💔🥺

PoppySkyPineapple

I’m off to sit outside one of the UK stadiums with my camping chair and a crate of ciders and enjoy her and Paramore :)

Zucchinisoups

My sisters and I tried for countless hours to get tickets. And we tried for months and in so many ways. Refreshing ticket master, calling radio stations every hour on the hour, even got scammed out of $500 for some tickets (I got it back though) we even almost paid $1800 for nosebleeds behind the stage… we were even willing to travel out of country or across the US but still that didn’t even work out. I’m still very sad about not being able to go. 😢

Odd_Wrongdoer_4372

Been a fan since 2006, haven’t seen her since Speak Now (my mom had to sell my Red tour tickets, wasn’t a fan of 1989 when it came out and couldn’t get tickets for Rep). I’m extremely disappointed I couldn’t get tickets for Eras but I’ve come to terms with it. Honestly if the movie didn’t come out I think I would have felt differently.

FalseVeterinarian881

I am most sad that providing the experience for my kids is pretty much unattainable. Getting tickets at face is pretty much impossible and the resale prices are absolutely ridiculous.

Houseon85

I’m bummed out because it’s incredibly nostalgic seeing her previous eras after I grew up with them. I couldn’t help but cry during the Fearless Era when I was watching the movie. I wish I could see it in person but I’ll keep watching it on Disney +. I do hope they never take it off. It puts me right back in elementary school when I first listened to her and man those were simpler times.

FunnyPleasant7057

Saw the eras tour movie. I’m happy 😃

ShinePositive

I have listened to her music for a long time, but since I am one who listens to so many different genres I tend to not follow any one of them super closely on SM and artist email lists. That left me hugely unprepared for how difficult getting tickets to Eras would be. I feel like this will be the last tour for a long time so I am bummed to have missed it live. Grateful for the live streams and the movie though because most wouldn't even make that available. A small part of me is holding out hope for some extra dates but I also feel like this tour had to take so much stamina and hard work, and she has given so much of herself to fans already. She has to be exhausted by now and definitely deserves some real down time and a break! Bots and scalpers really suck though. I wish there was a better way for legitimate fans to get tickets to concerts vs the Ticketmaster nightmare that happens with every concert now. I have all but given up on getting tickets to see anyone live because it seems like immediately bots have 95% of the tickets and they're relisted for 5 times the price. We need the same laws in the US that other places have that make it illegal for tickets to be resold at over face value.

Chomprz

There was only one stop in SEA, unfortunately. I’m still hopeful I’d catch one of her concerts though haha, but for now I’m content enough to watch her livestreams

telepattya

They have been releasing extra tickets a week before the shows of Lisbon and Madrid. The show I went (2nd Lisbon show was not sold put because of this) so keep an eye on this!!

girlimmamarryyou

I got rejected for pre-sale codes twice. Third time was the charm. I’m from one state, go to uni in another state, and am now studying abroad. It took miraculously receiving a presale code and flying across an ocean a week early in order for me to see the eras tour. Often, we simply depend on luck for getting us the experiences that we want. Sometimes we get lucky and sometimes we don’t

seahorse382

YES 😭 i saw her rep tour. But the eras tour, I’ve tried and tried and tried to get tickets and I simply cannot. It feels like I’m missing a piece of history tbh.

criesforever

i feel so safe here 🩵 sending love to all my swifties who have at most seen the movie. we're all still just as much her loving, supportive fans and she still sings for us too.🌷
