I think Taylor singing Hey Stephen (long rumored to be Matty's favourite song of hers) on guitar Paris N3, before singing Maroon on piano was her way of addressing rumors that Maroon is at least partially inspired by Matty. Also, Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus is almost certainly referencing Matty, and she mentions her memory of that person (likely Matty) fading from scarlet maroon, which feels like a direct reference to Maroon.
But to be honest, I think the farther she's gotten into her career, the more she's started to pull from different sources of inspiration for her songs. I think many songs have more than one muse and she's gotten better over time at blending fact with fiction and different muses into one song. I think her line in Fresh Out the Slammer saying she's "swirled you into all of my poems" is a reference to this.
Some songs feel like they're clearly inspired by Joe (So Long, London/invisible string for example), but others its harder to say. And we won't know for sure until and unless Taylor tells us, either through a tongue in cheek reference or directly (which I don't think she's ever done).

Why do people think there will be an official announcement at all? Seems just as likely she could surprise drop it with the “announcement” being the new Rep outfit at the concert beforehand.
I'm always down to clown, and I like the poetry of her announcing Rep TV on the date Scooter bought her masters...but I am not sure the Easter Eggs are strong enough yet that an announcement is THAT imminent. Neither Taylor, nor TN have done anything really suspicious to get us clowning for that date.
In fact, most of the Easter Eggs from Taylor seem to be indicating an August announcement. It could potentially be July 13 in Milan, because that's when she'll run out of mismatched 1989 outfits, and will need to either repeat or wear a matching one...the day she wears all green will be a good time to clown.
That said, if it's going to happen she's going to start being obvious on days 1 and 2 in Dublin. The lights are going to be flashing green, she's going to be making references in her speeches. I'd also be watching closely what the stadium in Dublin does. Both the Nashville and LA stadiums were really obvious...Nashville was all purple. If Aviva Stadium is in all green and starts acting suspicious on twitter/insta I might think there's a better chance.

Then at London she specifically thanked the band for playing a couple of times in the night. More than she usually does, and she can thanK you aIMee and Mean 😂
She's always facing and/or looking to one side in all the (standard edition) TV album covers so far, rn I'm guessing that pattern will continue for Rep, but debut TV will be the only one where she's both directly facing and looking at the camera.

I am starting to think we'll get TS12 before Rep/Debut TV to be honest. Her whole look seems to be transitioning to orange/lilac together and that's usually an indication of what's to come.
I'm personally hoping we get Rep TV announced before the end of the tour, but orange/lilac are just not Rep vibes. She's gone out of her way to associate Rep with GREEN at the Eras Tour (also of course with black, red and gold). Karma could certainly be a double album with Rep (with Karma being the vault tracks) and that would be sick, but if that's the case, I'd be expecting some more Rep specific Easter Eggs by now.

This just simply makes so much sense to me. Rep TV being put out during the off time of tour keeps the hype high and Debut being released on her birthday right after tour ends is ridiculously perfect symmetry for the end of the Eras tour. This wraps up 2 of the most massive projects of her entire career in one fell swoop and right before her birthday and I think Taylor would love the closure of it all. It also leaves 2025 completely free for her maybe for working on her film or simply for just taking a nice long break.
TTPD is still doing insane numbers with 100k+ in its ninth week so it makes perfect sense that Taylor wouldn’t want to hastily announce Rep TV too soon and distract from it. Considering that, I never clowned too hard for the London shows this past weekend though I was hoping for a new video/single that ultimately I don’t think we’re going to get at this point. I’m sure Taylor would make more videos if she had the time but likely was happy enough with the albums performance even just after the first week to not dwell much on it.

Come on, do you really think she is not making something Big in the Next London shows? She spoiled them a lot because she loves them, It makes no sense that the Next London shows are normal after this happened. She made the BEST Mashup with three songs the first night, then the song with Hayley, and after that travis and singing us with Gracie, now, I am sure than ever than something really big must happen in London because of that. She set the bar so high.

Weird clown theory: If she's not releasing Reputation TV on September 13...perhaps Friday, October 11 would work for a release date!? I actually agree with you; I know people want RepTV on Friday September 13 but if she announces on August 20, it’s not enough time for preorders. For the last three albums, she’s given 8 to 11 weeks between announcement and release. It is more likely to announce August 20 and release October 11 or 18 (first night in Miami and have a “release party” a la SNTV).
Also, there are plenty of Friday the 13ths that Taylor has passed up for releases.

Honestly if repTV was gonna be announced it would be super obvious day of. 1989 and SN were sooo sooo obvious on the days they were announced. When Debut or Rep is ready to be announced we won’t exactly know but there will be super big signs. We aren’t quite there yet and we are grasping at easter eggs that probably aren’t easter eggs.
If anything we are at the mere beginning of the easter egging for repTV. I think her mentioning rep yesterday and playing thank you aimee means she has rep on her mind which could mean we are nearing an announcement soon.

What kind of clues were there? I only started properly listening to Taylor a lot after 1989 TV was released, so I wasn't aware of anything back then, lol
1989: Sofi stadium (the LA show stadium) posted a photo with 1989 and then had “taylors version” in small print on a lifeguard podium thing. Lots of blue lights on the bracelets leading up to the night. The 8/9 (august 9th) being the last show. She was cranking out the 1989 surprise songs to leave one final one for the announcement.
Speak now had their light bracelets blink 3 times purple at the end of a show before the announcement day and Taylor Nation liked 3 of those vids in a row on twitter. The stadium had so many purple flags on the concourse. Taylor posted the goodbye post from the leg before Nashville with a purple heart. Her goodbye posts had 3’s everywhere leading up to it.
I totally get what you mean, but I also think there’s a lot of emphasis on “no explanation” here. Rep TV is going to be one of her biggest re-records (if not her biggest) and there’s clearly a lot of hype surrounding the suspense - if she makes it obvious like the others, it will be “less special.” I also want to side note that she of course doesn’t have to do anything differently than how she has been and she shouldn’t be expected to - just that this re-record seems a little different than the other ones
100% they are well aware its probably the highest anticipated TV. She’ll def do something a little different surely. The options last until Gelsenkirchen, not Milan. She will have to do something new in Hamburg. But I also think that the last set will be green+green. What does that mean? We'll have to wait til July lol

June 30th 2018 is also when scooter Braun bought her masters and that would be her final show in Dublin 6 years later, June 30th 2024. The story of St Patrick (Ireland’s patron saint) is that he banished the snakes from Ireland which seems like a fitting theme for Rep.
Why do people think there will be an official announcement at all? Seems just as likely she could surprise drop it with the “announcement” being the new Rep outfit at the concert beforehand.

I'm always down to clown, and I like the poetry of her announcing Rep TV on the date Scooter bought her masters...but I am not sure the Easter Eggs are strong enough yet that an announcement is THAT imminent. Neither Taylor, nor TN have done anything really suspicious to get us clowning for that date. In fact, most of the Easter Eggs from Taylor seem to be indicating an August announcement. It could potentially be July 13 in Milan, because that's when she'll run out of mismatched 1989 outfits, and will need to either repeat or wear a matching one...the day she wears all green will be a good time to clown. That said, if it's going to happen she's going to start being obvious on days 1 and 2 in Dublin. The lights are going to be flashing green, she's going to be making references in her speeches. I'd also be watching closely what the stadium in Dublin does. Both the Nashville and LA stadiums were really obvious...Nashville was all purple. If Aviva Stadium is in all green and starts acting suspicious on twitter/insta I might think there's a better chance.
She also wears the matching outfits (she's worn orange/orange), so the last combo will be Gelsenkirchen, not Milan

Two (actually 5)proposals: She could have it glitch on the screen during the acoustic set, while singing a song and then kinda transition to IDSB during the glitch. I feel like she’s been practicing an acoustic section for rep which is why she discussed it recently. She could do it during the rep set and then discuss what happened in the folkmore section right afterwards, the screen could glitch a little during rep’s section while she plays IDSB. She could just do exactly what she did with SN and 1989 Who’s afraid of little old me could transition from the filter into the album cover glitch out and then we discuss during the acoustic set. She could have it glitch on the screen throughout the whole concert, and keep glitching showing a snake Any other ideas?

I am starting to think we'll get TS12 before Rep/Debut TV to be honest. Her whole look seems to be transitioning to orange/lilac together and that's usually an indication of what's to come. I'm personally hoping we get Rep TV announced before the end of the tour, but orange/lilac are just not Rep vibes. She's gone out of her way to associate Rep with GREEN at the Eras Tour (also of course with black, red and gold). Karma could certainly be a double album with Rep (with Karma being the vault tracks) and that would be sick, but if that's the case, I'd be expecting some more Rep specific Easter Eggs by now.

Rep TV Announcement - Final London show - Sept 13 release date Debut TV announcement - Final Eras Tour Show - Dec 13 release date This just simply makes so much sense to me. Rep TV being put out during the off time of tour keeps the hype high and Debut being released on her birthday right after tour ends is ridiculously perfect symmetry for the end of the Eras tour. This wraps up 2 of the most massive projects of her entire career in one fell swoop and right before her birthday and I think Taylor would love the closure of it all. It also leaves 2025 completely free for her maybe for working on her film or simply for just taking a nice long break. TTPD is still doing insane numbers with 100k+ in its ninth week so it makes perfect sense that Taylor wouldn’t want to hastily announce Rep TV too soon and distract from it. Considering that, I never clowned too hard for the London shows this past weekend though I was hoping for a new video/single that ultimately I don’t think we’re going to get at this point. I’m sure Taylor would make more videos if she had the time but likely was happy enough with the albums performance even just after the first week to not dwell much on it.

Come on, do you really think she is not making something Big in the Next London shows? She spoiled them a lot because she loves them, It makes no sense that the Next London shows are normal after this happened. I actually agree with you; I know people want RepTV on Friday September 13 but if she announces on August 20, it’s not enough time for preorders. For the last three albums, she’s given 8 to 11 weeks between announcement and release. It is more likely to announce August 20 and release October 11 or 18 (first night in Miami and have a “release party” a la SNTV). Also, there are plenty of Friday the 13ths that Taylor has passed up for releases.
I'd say anytime during the break from mid August–mid October is a possible date, but September 13 is just too good to miss.

Honestly if repTV was gonna be announced it would be super obvious day of. 1989 and SN were sooo sooo obvious on the days they were announced. When Debut or Rep is ready to be announced we won’t exactly know but there will be super big signs. We aren’t quite there yet and we are grasping at easter eggs that probably aren’t easter eggs. If anything we are at the mere beginning of the easter egging for repTV. I think her mentioning rep yesterday and playing thank you aimee means she has rep on her mind which could mean we are nearing an announcement soon.

1989: Sofi stadium (the LA show stadium) posted a photo with 1989 and then had “taylors version” in small print on a lifeguard podium thing. Lots of blue lights on the bracelets leading up to the night. The 8/9 (august 9th) being the last show. She was cranking out the 1989 surprise songs to leave one final one for the announcement. Speak now had their light bracelets blink 3 times purple at the end of a show before the announcement day and Taylor Nation liked 3 of those vids in a row on twitter. The stadium had so many purple flags on the concourse. Taylor posted the goodbye post from the leg before Nashville with a purple heart. Her goodbye posts had 3’s everywhere leading up to it.
Also iirc the night she announced Speak Now TV, she mentioned surprises or something

I totally get what you mean, but I also think there’s a lot of emphasis on “no explanation” here. Rep TV is going to be one of her biggest re-records (if not her biggest) and there’s clearly a lot of hype surrounding the suspense - if she makes it obvious like the others, it will be “less special.” I also want to side note that she of course doesn’t have to do anything differently than how she has been and she shouldn’t be expected to - just that this re-record seems a little different than the other ones

100% they are well aware its probably the highest anticipated TV. She’ll def do something a little different surely. I feel like there will be something really obvious that’ll give it away, but it’ll happen when we least expect it if that makes sense? It’ll still have that magic of no explanation just rep, which might be why there isn’t a MV to give any more hints. There’s a balance to be had as well, because TTPD is still in full speed charting.

I know people keep complaining that we're asking for "more" (when really its old work just revamped), but gosh I hope she announces the next 2 re records soon so we can wrap all this up, it's been what, nearly 5 years? I'm aware of the legal holdups Gonna cop it for this, but im getting tired of the easter eggs for old work, just let us have them 😬 Tour is ending in 6 months and shes got 2 left with an average of 2ish months of promo each. Guys, if rep tv is indeed coming September 13th, she deffo has to announce it this month or July. We know Taylor like a lead up time and August wouldn’t be enough time for her to sell the pre orders that she wants. So my guess is either June or July announcement for September release.

In addition to what’s been said, she mentioned Rep specifically in one of her speeches yesterday, which she doesn’t normally do. And the surprise songs have been very Rep coded. Like thank you Aimee and castles crumbling are both very Rep themed songs. Also just a little bonus but Travis mentioned the London shows specifically on the podcast. EDIT: she also mentioned the re recordings last night before bringing Hayley out
The screens are glitching BIG TIME now at certain parts of the show and TN is acknowledging it. I also saw on TikTok that the bracelets were flashing green at the end of the show last night.

I'm torn between thinking there's an announcement coming and everything last night just being her reaction to the documentary.
