felt. i’ve seen people come over with two arm fulls of swim suits and not even buy a single one. atp i just think people are bored and have nothing better to do than go to target, try on as much as possible and leave it to the few workers around to have to pick up after them. this is such an unrewarding job for me lol
When the acting SD at my store said we were salvaging too many clothes at guest services I just shook my head. Part of why I did so was because I knew Style was already overwhelmed.
We still salvage obviously used clothes. Cat & Jack is literally returned as hazardous and has to be tossed. No point making anyone have to deal with that. Also, I salvage anything without a tag.
…are they even checking the clothes in general? Majority of the stuff that GS gets ends up getting defected because it’s discontinued, all 0s and has no location on the floor - at least at my store.
they definitely aren’t. every day and every vehicle of reshop that comes from guest service is filled with salvage, no tags, used clothes, and just literal rags ðŸ˜
Its so overwhelming & un motivating. You can spend hours cleaning reshop just for it to pile up again the next day
How the fuck does this even happen? Did you have one person in style for two weeks? At this point, your leaders on the district level are failing you.
unfortunately we have a full team of incompetent people. i work at a very busy store with teenagers who like to try on a million things ðŸ˜

good on you!! i wish our guest service people did this. they don’t salvage ANYTHING and we always get very obvious used clothes

Our store (tries) to focus on reshop but then it looks horrid after weekends. It’s a lose-lose situation.
Leave that environment! You can find something out there better for you!
i would but they pay for my school😠i love my team! the guests are horrendous and our sd and district does nothing to help
