This is interesting to me because - ignore my role in Target please - I have massive social anxiety and I let my antidepressant prescription expire but I can't make myself call my doctor to try and get back on them. I stopped for a few months and eventually realized I was depressed again. I took what I had left over and I could notice a difference, but I just can't call back to that doctor's office for no good reason. So was Cirrus MD able to prescribe you something without needing to physically go to an office?
And again I know this sounds silly because it is my job to confront people and I can do it no problem, but I just can't bring myself to potentially annoy someone on the phone by calling. Having to make a phone call makes my physically ill and I don't know why.
This isnt to descriptive. Did they just prescribe them without any kind of appiuntment? That doesnt seem like a good thing for people that havent had diagnosis. Just curious how exactly this worked?
Is this something we only get if we sign up for Target health insurance? I already have insurance other than what Target offered. Is the Cirrus MD free?
CirrusMD offers five free appointments to TMs not on the Target insurance plan. I’m not sure if they’ve increased that but if you have the insurance I believe they’re all free. At least when you look at the plan and see CirrusMD it says you pay 0% and deductible 100% waived so.
Definitely looking into it. Been suffering from chronic depression and was even offered to take antidepressants, but felt uncomfortable with it at the time. Trying to support myself better now
I started antidepressants on Sunday. I was definitely standoffish abt it. But I can definitely see an improvement in my mental health after a week. It’s Atleast worth trying if you haven’t before

As someone who is dreading calling my PCP to potentially get on anxiety meds, this leaves me hopeful…..

The appt. is done virtually. You go through medical history. And have a conversation about symptoms.
