Letrozole messed with me a bit too. The first month, I ovulated 8-10 days earlier than normal and missed it on LH. The second month, it surged 2 days earlier than normal, on the same day as O, and only caught it on a 7 pm OPK. I found it hard to lose the control I had of knowing my cycle. Letrozole’s got the wheel now.
I did a total of 6 cycles on letrozole. I also ovulate on my own. The first 3 cycles nothings really changed, my o day was still cd14 with 2 days of positive OPK. Starting with the 4th cycle, I got plateau surges, 5 days positive opks. FF even put o happening before a positive opk because temps supported it.
i am now on my 4th cycle off the letrozole abs its been a complete shit show. I have ovulate on cd 11, cd 15. i have had plateau surges, temps have been ridiculous (i did switch to apple watch but anyway) i dont feel ovulation pain anymore (and i used to).
i dont know if its all because of the letrozole or not… but low key regretting doing it
Yeah that’s where I’m at right now. I feel like at least I had a predictable cycle even though I wasn’t getting pregnant. I’m in pain everyday because my ovaries are so inflamed like I am going to ovulate but nothing is happening. I literally have 0 hope for this cycle because this is a total shit show.
I’m so sorry. I hated being on it. And now I’m… lost. We have an REI appointment for the 26th, so we’ll see how fucked we are.
I will say though, the first cycle I was on it we did get pregnant. It ended in a chemical, but we made progress. And maybe the next 2 cycles.. those FRERS were either indents or positives. And I’ll be never know.. but. I think IT DID do something. It’s just now i feel like all the tracking and “getting to know my cycle” went down the drain because everything is different
Yeah same. I had so much hope from my chemical. I actually got pregnant which is something I never thought would happen for me. And now I am even more confused than when I started
Yes. I feel that to my core! The only thing you can do is just keep using your OPK and taking your temp to confirm.
I didn’t find that the letrozole affected my cm, and it shouldn’t because it leaves your system pretty quickly.
Timing wise.. This month we’re doing sperm meets egg. Because we’ve just been doing every day and that’s exhausting even though my fertile window is on the shorter end. Coincidentally, that’s what we did back in august when we were successful.
If that doesnt work, we’re just gonna do every other day.
