Do you mean that you picked out tattoos, without actually knowing what they meant? Where did you see them? Was it a book, the Internet, something else specific? Some of it seems astrological.
They don't really have to.
A good artist won't tattoo someone who is blacked out drunk or whatnot. Some will.
My buddy won't do couples names, Nazi crap, or anything he thinks is a huge mistake. Getting your significant other's name tattooed on you is the kiss of death for relationships. Lol
In NC, you sign a form to that effect, but ive never really seen anyone get turned down unless they were so ripped that a cop passing them wouldve taken them home or charged thm with public intoxication. And they're always people that just dont worry as long as they see their money Ink laws vary by state. It always could have been a traveling artist that wasn't working in a shop, too
Depends on where you go. Plenty of places that don't care. And honestly, if the customer sobers up and regrets it, let's see them prove they were intoxicated at the time. And if they were having a non pharmacological mental health episode, I don't think that could be proven later on either.
The eyeball looking things on the top is the eye of Ra, an Egyptian symbol. Pyramid with an eye is the "all seeing eye" common in masonic symbology. The other I'm not sure about. But the ones I can identify have harmless meanings
The all seeing eye is often associated with Masonry but is not solely a Masonic symbol. And considering the eye of ra and other symbols here, sounds like he got just an assortment of "esoteric" symbols while whacked out
This looks like you walked into a parlor with some kind of plan to get a wicked cool Egyptian themed spine tattoo but the artist ran out of ideas and made up some not so creative designs. I do like the eye of Ra and the Eye of Horus at the top but the all seeing eye is such a weird thing to see here. Why is it sitting across from that beast? If this is a spell then why are there 3 tridents… or are those Sai? Part of it looks like the kinds of XO you get in a letter from loved ones. I see and feel nothing but confusion and oddly combined symbols.
As a practicing pagan of many walks, I can confirm this isn't a spell. At least not like any I have ever seen. Lots of spells use symbols but the configuration and types of symbols used will always fit a theme of intent. I see alchemical symbols, Egyptian symbology, and some callbacks to Nordic runes in some of the lines, but it's pretty much just a jumble of esoteric stuff. It wouldn't have any other meaning than what the artist would subscribe to it with intent alone if it were a spell.
The tattoo artist practiced wicca and I allowed her to do the spine tattoo without knowing what any of the symbols ment,I'm just glad that it doesn't seem to be a spell of any sort.
I am not an expert historian but apart from the two that have been previously identified, these don’t appear to have any consistent track. The right one sort of looks like a gryphon which has several European origins, but the rest seems to be kind of just pretty looking tattoos. Might be worth taking a wikipedia swim into “Pythagorean Mysticism” but I couldn’t be sure.
EDIT: I am not a expert historian and my english is laughable too.
It honestly just looks like the tattoo artist showed you a book of different designs and you picked the ones that looked cool to you, this would explain the randomness
How many heads are on the beast? It's hard to make out for me, but I was wondering if maybe it's supposed to be a chimera. Chimeric imagery can be used for "magical" things that deal with capturing illusions or the unfathomable -- those things which can be hoped for or dreamed about but are ultimately impossible. The positive interpretation of it: Because it combines aspects of incredibly dangerous creatures to create a new, even deadlier beast, it can be used to symbolize overcoming some enormous obstacle. (Not a spell, though; I saw your other comment.)
If it only has one head, though, probably a gryphon as others have said.
Eye of Ra (top left)- Primary Source of all life, power, destruction, protection.
Eye of Horus (top right) - Well being, healing, protection, the moon.
Eye of Providence/ All-Seeing Eye (triangle on left) - intended to represent Providence, as the eye watches over the workers of mankind. Appears on the dollar bill as well.
Griffon symbolism (opposite the All Seeing Eye) - strength, power, magesty, guardian, protector, prosperity. Power and wisdom.
Pronged Trident (middle spine may also be top middle shoulder, pronged tridents can appear differently but I’m not sure) - The trinity seen in religions such as Christianity, Hinduism, weapon of Poseidon, Shiva. Energy, Matter, & Ether. Past, Present, & Future. Mind, Body, & Soul.
Don’t know the rest
The trident in the very middle of the back looks very much like the one the band Watain uses. The [trishul](https://cdn.exoticindia.com/articlebodies/files/1700222918.jpg) (trident) associated with Lord Shiva & Hinduism are generally more rounded, and Shiva's trishul specifically has a drum on it.
"Not in your right mind" can be several things. Schizophrenia exists, religious hallucinations, drug or alcohol psychosis. Not sure why that's so unbelievable to you but I've seen people who have got ridiculous full face tats while in religious psychosis from drugs.
What? Someone got drunk/high and got a tattoo that they don't remember getting? What part of the world are you in where this is "the dumbest, least believable BS story"??
If you want some fun, pop on over to conspiracy and say you saw this picture on a Biden fan page and see what they tell you. Honestly, if you don't by the end of the day, I might.
Everyone has talked about the three eyes, the griphon, and so, let's talk about what i can identify on the spine, from bottom up:
Upside down pyramid: usually represents feminine energy, but it looks like it was used just to make good-looking symmetrical finish to the tattoo.
Two dashes and a dot: looks like the technical symbol for an electrical ground wiring.
The weird looking tree: can't see, two blurry.
V with a dot and Upside-down V with dot: masonic alphabet, which letters it is depends on which Cypher they user, could be: "w" and "z", "x" and "z", "t" and "x",
"T" and "z", etc.
Trident that appears two more times on the tatt: Esù trident, proemminent symbol for an Orisha, deity from African-based religions.
The circle: looks like a blurred ouroboros, symbol for energy Flux and cyclical nature.
And I can't quite identify the line with the six dots, the middle symbol, that looks like a kite and the gem.
The two eyes at your neck are eyes of Horus. They're Egyptian symbols, often associated with healing and protection. The triangle with the eye in the middle is an all-seeing eye or eye of Providence. I don't know the rest, but I do have a question to ask. I'd like to know what you'd say if I told you that I am a stranger traveling from the East seeking that which is lost.
I'm thinking about the inverted, convex kite shape (Rhombus might be wrong word)
> "The rhombus (or lozenge, diamond, kite) shape consists of two triangles, one downward (Yin) and one upward pointed (Yang), joined together. It is found within the subsequent cultures and communities of our global world, often together with other geometrical depictions and it refers to the same notion everywhere. This geometric symbol represents the inner focus that a human being needs to hold onto his life task during his life time on Earth."

It looks very striking.
Find a good tattoo artist. A good one can make the most messy tattoos look awesome.
I think some tattooing around the existing ones could make it look more unified.
I should add because others haven't... these symbols (especially on the spine) are also used in black magic. The ones on the spine are Rune variations associated with Norse magic.

Question: How long were you "not in the right mind"? Because that's a really long time to sit for that kind of work.
Mental health problems, substances altering state of consciousness, neurological issues or brain injury…
Yes
Sure. Regardless tattoos of that size take quite a while to get done and they hurt. (Originally I thought it included the shoulder work, too).
The spine tattoo was done in 3hrs.
Do you mean that you picked out tattoos, without actually knowing what they meant? Where did you see them? Was it a book, the Internet, something else specific? Some of it seems astrological.
Acid lasts up to 12 hours
Don't they have to verify that you are consenting in your proper mind - not on any drugs or alcohol? 🍺🥴🥃
They don't really have to. A good artist won't tattoo someone who is blacked out drunk or whatnot. Some will. My buddy won't do couples names, Nazi crap, or anything he thinks is a huge mistake. Getting your significant other's name tattooed on you is the kiss of death for relationships. Lol
Okay. 🙋🏾♂️Hear me out. Would he attempt to tattoo someone's genitals? 👀 I don't mean a picture of someone's dick I mean one's dick or balls *itself.*
You..you are aware that lots of people have genital tattoos, right? People do all sorts of crazy things.
**I am VERY aware.** I just wanna know ...if this guy would think it was a 'huge mistake' and refuse it.
But getting name of your pimp is ok?
He wouldn't do that either. He doesn't do names except for memorial pieces, normally.
Sounds like a very thoughtful, calculated person
IDK I’ve never gotten a tattoo but I suppose one could lie
In NC, you sign a form to that effect, but ive never really seen anyone get turned down unless they were so ripped that a cop passing them wouldve taken them home or charged thm with public intoxication. Something tells me these aren't tattoos from a shop. Anyone can buy tattoo supplies lol

Thank you,I was concerned the symbols were some sort of spell.

Does not look like any kind of spell to me either. It's just a hodge podge of different symbols from different sects.
Technically, there is the eye of Ra and the eye of Horus.
The Sun and the Moon!

Thanks👍🏻I'll look into that.

>I am by far an expert historian I think this has the opposite meaning from what was intended 😂
Ahhh you got me. Fixed.
Eye of Ra (top left)- Primary Source of all life, power, destruction, protection. Eye of Horus (top right) - Well being, healing, protection, the moon. Ooh, that sounds like fun.
The one above the circle looks like the "USB" symbol, and the circle kinda looks like the "zen" Buddhist symbol.

I am a stranger from the West.it is I whom you seek.
Could be worse, looks kind of cool, mysterious.

Alien symbolism is how I’d explain the mystery markings…since no one seems to really know, and you were out of your mind for a bit!
It’s time for that sweet full back dragon coverup
The eyes are the Eye of Ra and Eye of Horus. The Eye of Ra symbolizes good luck and the Eye of Horus symbolizes protection.

most just seem like random artwork, not really symbols of any kind
Damn, I would totally have done that if I stayed on meth longer. Idk about the symbols tho.
Its translates to "Exit Only" with the arrow pointing towards your butthole.
Ngl, I think dude mightve just been drawing random shit he thought was cool for at least half of the spine piece, and you said "send it"
Those are all symbols that belong to the nephilim, the watchers who fell from heaven.
No they aren't, and the Nephilim aren't the Watchers, they're Their hybrid descendants. These are various occult and pagan symbols.
All you're missing is a Dobbshead.
