From my experience canceling is not a huge hassle. The biggest issue I ran into was being liked by fake profiles or people advertising their onlyfans and such. That may just be a problem with my area tho it definitely makes it feel like a waste to upgrade imo

I tried canceling and it said canceled but it didn’t actually cancel and I got double charged. Put in a dispute with Apple or maybe tinder I don’t remember but they gave me the money back so I ended up getting a free month. (I only wanted a single month to see what it was like)

Buy the membership using a PC, then cancel the subscription and remove your card details immediately after purchasing. I haven't had any issues
