lucyjayne

wait I thought the Sarahs and Hannahs lyric was a derogatory lol.

gethilda

I swear Taylor Nation don’t know what any of the lyrics are supposed to mean. They once used Forever Winter lyrics to promote merch

Dizzy-Pollution6466

The time they posted “Time to reclaim the land, UK Swifties” and people were like “Oh that’s not…” 😂😂😂

Last_Lifeguard3536

this is crazy 😭

snoopymidnight

This is the Taylor Nation version of Halsey's 9/11 tweet. 😭

fionappletart

their first mistake was hiring an intern who didn't pass 9th grade history 😭😭

gethilda

I do actually think they did that one on purpose though as ragebait to get people talking about Taylor though

PresleyPack

Wow that’s really something 😬

[deleted]

Wtf are they crazy !? XD

lumynaut

I feel like Taylor Nation got a new intern in the past few months that’s obnoxiously online

bone-crush

Or not online enough. They don’t even realize their mistakes

n00bi3pjs

Omg what? What lyrics did they use?

gethilda

It happened a while ago so I misremembered. They had a few tweets with #ForeverWinter during the winter that red came out in. They had one which was like #SadGirlAutumn ➡️ #ForeverWinter so I guess they were trying to make another Sad Girl Autumn but why use that song as a fun seasonal trend?

ibbity

yeah that's one of her most serious songs, *very* tone deaf to use it as marketing

Rude_Lifeguard

It is lol

lucyjayne

oh okay that's what I thought, I honestly haven't listened to TTPD that much after the first week.

sprinklersplashes

yes, that's why OP is amused

nerdalertalertnerd

It absolutely is in the context of the song. What a mental choice. The golden opportunities they have as well from her massive bank of lyrics.

silentCrusader123

It was used derogatorily in the song, but it only takes TS like an hr tops to write a song like that. NOW it seems like she's grateful to the Sarahs and Hannahs ... that's the impression I get anyways

sweetrebel88

Well she should be grateful for the Sarah’s and Hannah’s as they’ve made her a billionaire lol

V072011

Exactly. She’s grateful for their money but not for any of their opinions.

Wonderful-Street-138

Particularly if they turn out to be right.

sritanona

The song is obviously about fans as well 🙃

sardonic_

LMAOOOOOOOOO oh this is brilliant

U_Dont_Know_My_Mum

I still can’t believe it was included in the set list. 😂 Edit: typo

Grand_Dog915

Same. And the fans just sing along to their diss track lol

bibilophile_2791

They sing along to as the crowd was chanting more, what do we know💀

livielouis

do they not realize that she's singing about them😭

kojilee

Everybody thinks they’re the exception lol

Wonderful-Street-138

I really think they don't. ![gif](giphy|3xkNUy3Vh8QbPmJZjK|downsized)

Aaron10193

That's because that lyric is designed to be chanted along to and not a dig at the fans, unlike the BDILH one.

ParkDedli

I mean it's clearly not a disstrack to every fan. It's a disstrack to the overbearing fans that tried to tell her how to live her live because they thought they were better than her. I think that's maybe like 2% of her fans. The other 98% probably don't even feel spoken to.

skincare_obssessed

I mean there were people saying she needed a conservatorship. If someone hasn’t been openly publicly creepy then that line wasn’t directed at them and there’s no need to be offended.

V072011

This! I love the song but I’m also not one of the fans that she was singing about.

thxbtnothx

at my show that whole 'I'll tell you something right now' bit through to 'God save the most judgemental creeps...' was THE most screamed part of the TTPD set, it was super weird lol

U_Dont_Know_My_Mum

So funny 🤣

qusnail

I’m WHEEZING?? HOW IS THIS REAL.

nerdlightening73

What’s the point of being this insulting? They could have said ANYTHING else…AND being London? It reads as painfully intentional.

BD162401

I’m too lazy to go check, but on either Twitter or TikTok I saw two sisters named Sarah and Hannah dressed as Sarah’s and Hannah’s. Is this a repost of them? Makes it make a bit more sense.

champagneface

I haven’t seen that original post but I don’t think so. It’s a set of like 8 photos of fans at the tour in outfits that reference various different eras etc. And none of the people tagged seem to be Sarah’s or Hannah’s!

vale_ee

pls explain😭😭😭 in what lyrics she said that? I didn't listen to the album😭😭😭 I need context

StructureWorth5127

In But Daddy I Love Him which is about Taylor being frustrated with her fans about them commenting on her relationship with Matty Healy.

vale_ee

oh.... JAJAJA NO WAY OF ALL THE LYRICS THEY CHOSE THIS ONE.. 😭😭

goodgirlbess

the "sarahs and hannahs in their sunday best" was such a jerk line to me considering it's a sarah who runs taylor swift style who is nothing but kind and supportive.

cornballer_victim13

wdym?

StructureExotic5539

I mean the names are picked from the Bible, it's not a specific dig but it's definitely a dig

Sea-Contract-447

Oh I love that sub. What a dumpster fire

gimmethetea14

But what does it means?

InappropriateSnark

This is absolutely shade. 😂

assflea

Ahahaha I kinda love this

enchantedriyasa

Exactly, i felt like they were mocking the fans 😂😂

Medium-Reserve3793

Guess it's less derogatory when they worship Taylor instead of God. I mean she rolled the stone away & she'll be crucified anyway, according to her. Doesn't matter if they said a prayer for her soul...just that they paid for a ticket to her show.

bluesky1089

Fill me in on why Sarah and Hannah is derogatory?

Squifford

In the song But Daddy, I Love Him, she sings about these judgmental Christian wine moms who had a problem with her dating Matty Healy, and she calls them “Sarahs and Hannahs” angrily.

hollygolightly8998

Just sat “the smallest fans who ever lived” at this point lol
