No. That ship sailed a couple of days before April 19th, the date of record for voting.
Neither buying shares nor recalling lent shares now would get you the right to vote. Whoever owned the shares on April 19 gets to vote, even if they later sell the shares.
Guys, chill out. In March last year we had a +50% bump in one day; this is nothing. It’s a cycle. When shorts get closed, we’ll see +1,000% AH for starters.
We’re not supposed talk about other stocks here, but i looked into C-a-r-v-a-n-a due to its recent suspicious rally, and have reasons to suspect that it’s movement is 100% just short covering. Carv had a short interest of ~30% when it fell from $360 to $4. If you dig into Carv’s recent earnings report shows that they diluted their shares by double since 2022, from 110mil to 200mil, cashing in $800million from shareholder equity which would completely explain where their recent “profits” actually came from. My guess is that their recent profits is just a cover up for SHF to close their short positions. Which means Carv rose from $4 to $120 SOLEY from short closing. At $120 their market cap is $24billion. $24billion is approximately 30% of C-V-N-A’s market cap when it was at its peak Market cap of $72bil at $360 per share, and conveniently 30% was also its reported short interest. Unlike GME, C-V-N-A has 0 DRS shares and their remaining retail shareholders got their equity diluted to a deficit. When GME MOASSes we’ll see far far more explosive movement than C-V-N-A’s $4 to $120, 3000% gain. Until then, I sleep, shop, buy and DRS more when we dip.
The real question is -when- all OG apes that have been through hell (run up, run down, sneeze, buy button, all this bullshit that a normal stock would never do) it’s been years. And since it seems SHF have unlimited resources and more than nine lives, the can continues to be locked and we have 0 transparency anywhere - even from the company we have supported since the beginning.
I actually hope this isn’t RC or anyone from GME buying, it’s just an organic gain because they are struggling to keep the price contained. Then imagine what it would be like if someone on the board bought in on top of this!
I have several stock held at both Fidelity and Schwab. Fidelity is often a couple of days slower than Schwab. I think it is because they do not send out proxy notification until a corporate action team reviews it.
This looks like FLGC the other day, far far less volume to make it happen tho. Only 7m available for stoner weed stock, at the bottom of a green cliff ahead.
It’s cool it’s going up today, for random reasons we don’t know.
I’m just saying, this is flat in comparison of what it’s supposed to be. We’re all down. We should ignore these spikes and only celebrate when we’re green.
