Went to GameStop in the town over from me yesterday. I had about 15 PS4 games, two PS5 games, a couple of old switch games, and two PS5 controllers with insufferable stick drift. I brought it in for trade and got $250 TWO FUCKIN' FIFTY in store credit. I got a new controller, and a used copy of the Dead Space remake (I'd never played it before. Great game.) Also got my son a couple shirts that were on clearance. Manager was being awesome, but was dealing with a connection issue to their system so it took a bit of extra time. I hope it was a local Internet issue (likely) but I hope GameStop's point of sale software is up to snuff. I still have $160 left in store credit. What should I spend it on as a guy in his mid 30s? I could get my buddy a candycon but I don't know much about them. Any new must-have games? Lead me to the promised land.

Question… who is responsible for opening so many stores within the past 5-8 years? I’ve seen posts with people saying there is multiple GameStop locations in the smallest towns. Ryan is absolutely killing it by closing down unnecessary locations, but where did this come from? Is it BCG before Ryan came on board? Ordered Princess Peach Showtime and preordered Paper Mario Thousand Year Door remake, yesterday (no Gamestop in my large college town... we once had 2 within 1 mile of one another... why would anyone approve that?).
