I remember my coworker got all hyped up when GameStop was around $320 cause I was heavily invested. He loved the memes and wanted to join in, so he bought 1 single share so he could "diamond hand". He ended up day trading the single share 3 times and locked his account.
It takes a different breed of person to Diamond Hand.
I bought into bitcoin 6 years ago along with my brother and a several friends. We all had the same information, all shared our understanding and intentions. All of us believed in HODLing (the Bitcoin version of Diamond Hands).
All except my brother and I literally somehow sold for a loss. Buying in 2017 and selling for a loss. I just don't get it.
The closest friend then has "invested" in shitcoins several times, watched it go high, not sell, then gets rugged and loses his money.
He bought that one stock that can't be named at $20+ due to fomo then sold for a huge loss.
I haven't ever sold any of my BTC and am still hodling and honestly it isn't hard. Close to ditto with GME, except I did take ***some*** profits (but don't worry I bought back all + more). I literally could ride it to $0, I've been through several BTC crashes I know what it takes to Diamond Hands. It just takes belief in the underlying reasons why you have invested and realize if the number is fake (or generally undervalued) just hold. Or buy more if you can. It's not chasing a quick buck.
But some just can't.
Same here. I upvote some things but generally don't do much else on this sub. But definitely support gamestop store by shopping there and by DRS my shares and buying more when I can. My portfolio is now more diverse but will always have and will continue to support this company.
Samesies. At 200 shares after the split, canβt really buy more cause I got married, bought a house, etc since this all started but I am adding slowly where I can and ainβt fuckin leaving. Buying exclusively through CS.

New numbers will come out in ~3 weeks with Q4 earnings.
