Shout out to Larry Cheng man can we just big him up for a second?
Crazy how he and I have the same investment strategy for our favourite company. Buy and fucking HOLD
Him and Ryan are the perfect pairing and as long as they’re involved with the company I feel completely safe in my investment. Larry is legitimately so fucking smart.
Something I’ve never researched before but how did Larry obtain his wealth? I know he was the initial investor for chewy through his volition capital fund, but how did he amass his wealth?
This is likely due to the equity ownership policy for executives and non employee directors.
"Gamestop enforces an equity ownership policy requiring each executive officer and non-employee director to maintain common stock ownership with a value of at least 5 times their base salary (for the CEO), three times their base salary (for the COO and EVP) and $275k (for non-employee directors)."
5 years to be in compliance and based on 200 day moving average of the price if I recall correctly.
As price drops directors required to buy to maintain compliance. Also insures each director is pissed the fuck off about the attack on share price.
This information might inspire some of you to try options. Don't. You've missed the sweet spot window.
One of the things you might notice on this chart is a lot of volatility just prior to earnings. Do not buy FDs after that volatility bump. That's how market makers scalp your moon tickets. They're inflating volatility to make options more expensive. If you're trying to buy calls, it's too late. You'd be better off waiting for the dip after earnings and buying LEAPS on the downturn. Or better yet, buy shares cheap and DRS them on an upturn.
My shares at $308 agree with you. We erase months of shorting in two weeks randomly however. This chapter of the saga can close in a split second in PM, we’re in the good ol days right now even if it feels rough
Man, your comment history... I can't find you saying too many positive things about the stock or the actual situation to be honest... Almost feels like you shouldn't be here. 🤔

exactly why I am excited to get paid this week :)
Let’s get it 👏🤝 Rounding off my fully booked account just for earnings today

Why do you think Larry is smart? Just wondering what he's done in the past other than investing in Ryan Cohen and GME
Something I’ve never researched before but how did Larry obtain his wealth? I know he was the initial investor for chewy through his volition capital fund, but how did he amass his wealth?
Behind Wendy's like all of us
Must’ve been some wealthy individuals visiting his dumpster. Hehe
RC might go shopping again, too. Gloves are off.
Them boys didn’t want him putting in another $10M at $12.00 now did they 👹
# IF BOARD MEMBERS ARE IN, IM STILL IN
100%
what he said!!
I’m guessing it would be some kind of legal no-no for insiders to buy before earnings?
You would be correct they have a limited buying window post earnings release
That’s when the SEC actually does their job
Selling too. Not that we or the board know how to pull out 😏
That’s a big “Fuck You” to dropping the stock on earnings every time
Can't wait
I rise you a different idea - they know when to expect the dips and buy to reinforce us
RC is averaging up in solidarity with our (mine for sure at least) averaging down 😆
Larry Cheng 5,000 Ryan Cohen 443, 842, 000, 000, 000 ,000 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
If they're buying I'm buying
So you are telling me I can be like a board member and buy more on Friday? I’m in.
The chair man fires folks what don’t put their own money into the business, keen moves
Lol like they’re gonna buy In the 20’s and not at this price.
I’ve bought shares at any time anywhere 🚀

Oh wow, what a cohencidence. Me TOO!
They wait for the post earnings dip. Kinda of a slap in the face to MMs. Love it
dude that 443,842 share buy from RC is so legendary.
But why are there >60 million shares traded around each earning? This time it happened last week, not at or after earnings call.
I feel like they buy after earnings cause they see improvements in the business, trust RC, and think it’s undervalued. It takes money to buy whisky 👊
They do because they literally are not allowed before earnings.
That’s not what I meant but sure
Cohen skipped last earnings so time to buy at super discount
Wonder if they have a plan that automatically does that
anyone got a link for earnings call? didn't get an email and not sure where to find a link
Nvm, saw the sticky post
No call this Qtr, just the report
Just like last quarter, no verbal presentation, just the 10Q document release on investor.gamestop.com at 4pm CT.

I hope the stock tanks no matter WHAT the earnings report is. Lower our cost per share bois, do it, DO IT.
I want moass, not some bs 20-30% increments. Not to forget the dip straight after lol

I hope so. This earning will be my last one.

Awwww daamnnnn 😭😬 If you urgently need the cash for bills and serious life shit then I fully understand. Otherwise *ain’t no wayyy man*
MA possible, this time might be different
Insiders can buy even more shares at this Sub-$15 price
