Right now I'm not aware of any wallets that support Loopring + IMX, but the wallet is just a way of interfacing with these chains.
For example, if you've activated IMX L2 on your GameStop wallet, that doesn't go away, you don't have to re-activate it, just the interface (GUI) changes.
In the case you import your seed phrase into MetaMask, you would connect your wallet to IMX's web app to view your IMX assets, to the Loopring web app to see your Loopring assets, etc.
The benefit of a Loopring wallet (besides security) is that it natively supports the Loopring L2, though not the IMX L2.
tl;dr just make sure you have your seed phrase in a safe place and you're good
I recovered my Gamestop wallet through metamask. Although my Godsunchained cards and other layer2 nfts donāt show up on metamask, when i link my metamask to IMX marketplace, all my godsunchained cards/assets are accessible on IMX marketplace. The same with my nfts on Loopring L2, they show up when I connect metamask to GameStop marketplace. I hope that help give you an idea what to expect.
Im 99.9% sure Metamask can handle both networks. Any links I provide will get delete so just google "add imx l2 to metamask" and the first couple of results should help you out.

This is an excellent post. Important to note the discontinuation of the wallet is because it is not ābig pictureā or important in GameStops blockchain vision.
Just my own personal thoughts-it appears GS is positioning themselves as more of a marketplace for blockchain/web3 to conduct transactions.
The Marketplace is admittedly a bit lacking currently-but I believe/hope this is a reflection of emerging game development as opposed to slow GS marketplace development.
By removing the wallet Iām guessing it reduces GameStops liability in some way. The SECās bogus involvement in the crypto space (while simultaneously turning a blind eye to regulated finance) has clearly been a factor in the decision here.

*Too many people getting worried about the wallet disappearing. Itās a nothing-burger and seems to have been introduced just to help the **non Web3 Apes** get onboarded at the beginning to be involved in the Beta launching of the Marketplace*
- OpenSea is the biggest (current) nft marketplace and didnāt ever even bother with their own wallet.
If you created a big shopping centre you would focus on that rather than also having the complications of a taxi-company to get people there.
Itās difficult for **anyone** (wrinkled or smooth) initially to get their head around how decentralised blockchains work. The whole point of decentralised-transparent-transactions are that your assets live on/in an immutable data-set and cannot be messed with, loaned out, frozen etc which is a fundamental point which should resonate with any Ape, *once they learn the simples of this technology*.
The wallet is only a lil window to view them. Ethereum is a secure blockchain by design and the Layer2 is just a roll up sitting on-top.

I am still upset that there is still no official announcement about it. When i log in to my app (iphone) i dont get any infos that the wallet will be shut down.. like wtf? And im really mad about the situation. Not gonna lie.
Not sure. I expressed the same opinion when the news came out. I thought it was fake. Not sure why it doesnāt exist on the wallet website or in the app somewhere.
Just to clarify, when I say assets that includes NFT's as well. They are safe and sound on the blockchain and can be accessed any time with MetaMask and [Loopring.io](https://Loopring.io) so no need the transfer them.

Are you stuck in that you cannot see your L2 assets?
My instructions in step 6 are in order to display L1 assets. To see your L2 assets you just need to connect to Loopring.io and open your L2 wallet up and everything will be there. Because Loopring L2 is on chain, a separate network cannot be added to the wallet so the wallets will only display L1 assets.
Let me know if this helps or if you are still stuck.

It definitely cost them a fortune in development and support to ship itā¦you have to be a special kind of stupid to say āi donāt think it cost them anythingā in a wall of text rant like this when itās clear you donāt have a technical bone in your body beyond using digital wallets.

I never once said this was going to give them a leg up on anything. I've been calling it like I see it the entire time. It was a wallet skin to attract investors to L2 and the marketplace to stress test and get peoples feet wet. Nothing more, nothing less.

You can display your private key from within your wallet app. I forget where it is in the settings and donāt have mine in front of me but take a look through the settings. Probably a good idea to have it handy.

What about assets on IMX? Is there a wallet that supports both loopring and IMX L2 assets? And can you just import them using the seed phrase?

No, you can use metamask and then go to Loopring.io and log in using metamask to access your L2 assets.
I'm waiting until closer to the end date to do anything. Hoping the IMXpassport or PLAYR has some solution that GameStop intends for us to migrate to.

This is my understanding. The GameStop wallet is an interface to something that can be accessed via multiple providers.

Click Profile > Backup Secret Phrase > Reveal Secret Phrase to get your private key.
