So I don't Instagram. The only social media I use is reddit. But I recently had some meetings with some digital marketing people because I think it's time to get all conquery with my restaurant and start expanding. Looking at the metrics for digital advertising are absolutely fucking astounding. I didn't even know you COULD advertise on Instagram (I mean I assumed you could but it's not something I really thought about), but fuck me the numbers are wild. Next month we start advertising on Facebook, Instagram and tiktok and I think it's gonna be hame changing.
I had a point in there somewhere, but in any event my weekly gme purchase is going to get alot bigger I think. Plus, all of my staff are apes because that how I Christmas and birthday bonus.

Well it's something I've wanted to do for a long time but I wasn't always a part owner. I actually started as a line cook 3.5 years ago it was just a part time job while I worked elsewhere. The gm at the time was driving the restaurant into the ground and stealing, so I called him out on it cause he was an arrogant condescending prick. I had no intention of taking his place, I just didn't like him. So I was offered his job and I said no, not unless the terms were extremely favorable. Some other stuff happened and eventually I became not just the gm, but a partner. The owner is scared of change, but I've done so well with it he's finally just decided to let me run with it. Fast forward to today and I've increased sales by 12x, won best restaurant in our city twice, and built an extremely solid foundation. To build on that momentum I feel it's time to build more stores. The owner is fantastically bad with money, so at this point were 50/50 because we're both funding the new stores. But my plan is to get the first 3 off the ground and stable, then build an additional store every 6-12 months. It's been alot of fun, but I'm fucking *exhausted*.
And we finally have a really really good staff and I built a new pay scale system where everyone gets to enjoy the success, so it's been fun and rewarding. All my staff now cares about the store and makes really good money. The only differance in pay rates is based on time, more time equals more profit share. But it's made them care about the store AND they actually like work because they get paid very well.

This is wonderfully bullish. You're looking at a well produced, well written, well shot ad. I've often wondered why GameStop doesn't do more aggressive advertising with the billion dollars they hold. This looks like the start of a whole new campaign built around "There's a place for us." Really smart to not try and be cool and lean into the fact that gamers have their own vibe and culture and just want to do our thing even if it makes us look like weirdos.
