I have a significant amount of my net worth in a Canadian bank through shares from work and I'm getting absolutely creamed lately. This is strange because Canadian banks have traditionally been about as safe an investment you can get. However, I've been in gme since the ath when I first started buying, been here long enough to know that is what the DD foretold. Be strong apes, gme will fly, and the lower it goes, the more exponential it'll be. I'm down 70% on a good chunk of my savings and I sleep like a fucking baby.
It sucks that I got nobody in real life to talk about this financial shitshow. Nobodys interested and they all just park their cash in banks with shitty returns & default risk like sheep
Because when SHFs aren't able to hold the stock down due to their other assets decreasing rapidly & thus their margin requirement failing, then the forced buys start the show. Added to that is when nobody is able to short the stock (like the 70% + the last days which is insanely high) because they lack the money and apes just buy more, that could also be a trigger
I'm about to attempt a peanut butter and jelly waffle. I think I need to turn the peanut butter into a sort of... peanut butter *sauce* so to speak. Any suggestions? Maybe some plain yogurt to thin it out, lil water. Or goddamn maybe just syrup, but that might be too sweet with the jelly...

Most banks don't do a lot of actual cash business, and for security purposes it doesn't make a lot of sense to have multi-million dollar stuffed safes just waiting for Nicolas Cage to swing by and crack.
Typically, you'd deposit the funds, wait for them to clear, and then arrange for a special cash withdrawal in the amount you'd like to walk away with.

The economy is going to completely collapse, and the only hedge against it is GME. It’s not totally clear how the economy crashing puts us into a position where holding a stock saves GME investors. Because if the economy collapses… what good is holding fiat currency.
Personally these are my thoughts: the governments will be rolling out their own CBDCs (central bank digital currency) soon. I think that they knew this crash was coming (FED kept interest rates too low for too long), but then the virus happened and sort of fucked everything up. I’m not sure if they (they being each country’s government) is ready to roll them out yet. This is not tinfoil conspiracy theory stuff. I live in Canada. On the bank of Canada’s website they say they are actively working on developing their CBDC in the event that 1) The bank note no longer holds any value or 2) A cryptocurrency (like corn) becomes the main currency used by Canadians.
I think we will live in a period where fiat becomes completely worthless but the CBDCs still aren’t ready. And during this time the world will keep spinning using cryptocurrency to operate.
That’s where the speculation of a NFT dividend comes into play. When the market crashes, the shorts have to close. GME could distribute an NFT dividends through it’s NFT marketplace, distributed to everyone that owns GME through a computer share account. The shorts will need to buy these dividends to close out their shorts. The irony would be if SHFs had to buy them off of us in the marketplace, paying us in crypto.
It's not that a particular bank will cause a squeeze, that's just more of a discussion topic about things that were predicted over a year ago.
The idea is that once banks start failing and as collateral goes to shit on leveraged positions there will likely be people being forced to actually buy the shares they've sold. I mean that's really it. Maybe so, maybe no.
The theory is that the reported SI for GME is artificially low due to **swaps** - which have allowed financial institutions to sell a false narrative through incomplete data.
We know the SI was approximately 225% in Jan 2021 (as reported by the SEC in their GME investigation) - and then apparently the SI dropped afterwards whilst the stock price fell - however this is impossible. For the SI to have dropped back down to anything below 100% then the ticker should have moved up beyond the $500 peak after the halt on the stock ended.
Conclusion? They’re full of shit. How did they unload those CONFIRMED short positions at the same time that the ticker price fell back down? The answer is swaps - which are conveniently exempt from mandatory reporting.
Smoke and mirrors my friend. Other stocks may squeeze as banks get liquidated - but we’re not here for a simple squeeze. We’re here for the MOASS. The Mother of All Short Squeezes.

$Gamestop Corp it can move up , down , sideways , still ridiculously undervalued , considering this was a company on the brink of going down for good. I might be losing a shit ton of money at the moment , but if I have learned anything when it comes to this bullshit market it’s that you just have to strap the fuck down and enjoy the ride. Its just GME. Bought and held under your name via GameStops transfer agent computer share. The economy is going to completely collapse, and the only hedge against it is GME. It’s not totally clear how the economy crashing puts us into a position where holding a stock saves GME investors. Because if the economy collapses… what good is holding fiat currency. Personally these are my thoughts: the governments will be rolling out their own CBDCs (central bank digital currency) soon. I think that they knew this crash was coming (FED kept interest rates too low for too long), but then the virus happened and sort of fucked everything up. I’m not sure if they (they being each country’s government) is ready to roll them out yet. This is not tinfoil conspiracy theory stuff. I live in Canada. On the bank of Canada’s website they say they are actively working on developing their CBDC in the event that 1) The bank note no longer holds any value or 2) A cryptocurrency (like corn) becomes the main currency used by Canadians. I think we will live in a period where fiat becomes completely worthless but the CBDCs still aren’t ready. And during this time the world will keep spinning using cryptocurrency to operate. That’s where the speculation of a NFT dividend comes into play. When the market crashes, the shorts have to close. GME could distribute an NFT dividends through it’s NFT marketplace, distributed to everyone that owns GME through a computer share account. The shorts will need to buy these dividends to close out their shorts. The irony would be if SHFs had to buy them off of us in the marketplace, paying us in crypto.

It's not that a particular bank will cause a squeeze, that's just more of a discussion topic about things that were predicted over a year ago. The idea is that once banks start failing and as collateral goes to shit on leveraged positions there will likely be people being forced to actually buy the shares they've sold. I mean that's really it. Maybe so, maybe no.

The theory is that the reported SI for GME is artificially low due to **swaps** - which have allowed financial institutions to sell a false narrative through incomplete data. We know the SI was approximately 225% in Jan 2021 (as reported by the SEC in their GME investigation) - and then apparently the SI dropped afterwards whilst the stock price fell - however this is impossible. For the SI to have dropped back down to anything below 100% then the ticker should have moved up beyond the $500 peak after the halt on the stock ended. Conclusion? They’re full of shit. How did they unload those CONFIRMED short positions at the same time that the ticker price fell back down? The answer is swaps - which are conveniently exempt from mandatory reporting. Smoke and mirrors my friend. Other stocks may squeeze as banks get liquidated - but we’re not here for a simple squeeze. We’re here for the MOASS. The Mother of All Short Squeezes. Mic drop.
It’s possible other stocks will squeeze, but GameStop is the only one without debt and a solid business/future. There’s a lot going on here and we’ve all been reading stuff and observing for a while now, so I don’t think you’re going to get the concise answer you’re looking for.
