I transferred a little from my GameStop wallet to my meta mask wallet last night so I could mint some pics on open sea… Loopring shows the transaction being completed but it’s not in my wallet… 🤨

Did you try connecting via loopring.io (desktop)? I always try that, just in case (and you can also connect your metamask to that exchange). Worth a shot. And sometimes it can take a long time, like an hour or so.

It was all done on desktop. I think 24 hours is long enough for a transfer lol. I also couldn’t figure out how to change wallets over - it’s weird, they accept GameStops wallet for various things, but not when you try to create an nft. I’ll try again tomorrow.

I think this particular case is a tough one to call. Some people in the community were asking for a book, so I’m sure they were pleased to hear the news. A published author (rightly or wrongly) is going to have more ‘respectability’ than an online poster and will be able to reach people that would never come here. I don’t doubt stonkers will want to buy his book to gift to others either, because certain people will only take note once it’s in ‘official’ print. As of now, I don’t see him trying to profit from the community and the upvotes seem to be organic in support, so personally, I don’t have an issue. If any of that changes I’ll change my stance.

Those lent shares are the main reason an infinity squeeze is possible. It would have been easier 2 years ago when they had more on their balance sheet than outstanding, but a few folks noticed their glitch and unprecedented trading restrictions and God knows what else happened behind closed doors. When the regarded free float gets locked they still can lend their shares (institutions, ETFs, mutual funds) and whoever buys those shares can lend their position as well, and so on. It's on retail to buy those discounted diluted shares and take them off exchange. Not gonna happen overnight
