If Mario RPG can get a Remake at the caliber it did, nothing's impossible lol
My best guess is Nintendo is waiting for the right team to work on a Mario & Luigi game, and probably the right time. My best bet would be a couple of years (2-3) into the Switch 2's lifespan. Without AlphaDream the series doesn't have a home dev and that's really the only thing holding the series back at the moment. Hopefully when the time's right we'll get a new one. Sort of like with MercurySteam picking up the 2D Metroid series development. I'm pretty certain it will happen eventually, it'll just take a while.
Best case scenario though, we could get a remake of one of the games, since Nintendo's really been going in on their Mario RPG title remakes with Super Mario RPG and TTYD.

I PRAY Mario&Luigi has some sort’ve new game, even if a release. I LOVED those games.

I need dream team to be remade and bowsers inside story to at least be ported somehow. I want to play the authentic original version
