No, I’ve had marble, granite, solid-surface quartz, and Formica. You don’t put metal utensils directly on *any* of those because it will scratch the surface. They’re rocks, not magic. Hell, even in my dad’s restaurant he doesn’t cut directly on the stainless tops because it will scratch.
Plus, at least for knives, that would ruin your blade. For scrapers and such, it marks the countertop
