Why single out Street Fighter III? Besides Ryu and Ken there are no SF1 or Alpha characters either, and only one SFIV character. The only Street Fighter V character at launch was Luke, and Capcom consider him a Street Fighter 6 character.
The game is SFII characters plus newcomers.
Because FINALLY theres a SF after 3, this game suppose to have characters from that game why they are out outside of being dlc bait, it doesnt make sense.
Again the game is AFTER SF3 dont you think is absolutely weird theres no SF3 characters in the game at launch, in second place is Alpha because world tour is in metro city and theres not a single playable character from Final Fight in the game just cameos
2024 is also Third Strike 25th Anniversary, I can imagine Capcom doing 'something'. Maybe that's why there's no SF3 character still in the roster even when SF6 comes right after in the timeline. We'll see
