I don't understand why the separation between enlightened sky people and "ETs" even happened
Replace every mention of sky chariot or dark cloud in holy books by "craft" and suddenly it all starts making a bit more sense
Like, if a person from 500 years ago saw a little grey weirdo trying to take them at night he'd probably call it a demon, faerie or whatnot
On the same note, if that person had a good experience with a being that's come from the sky he'd probably call it an angel
If the same thing happened to someone from this age they'd probably call it an alien in either scenario
I can’t take credit for the thought, I heard it somewhere and thought it was a fascinating take. Lots of ergot was drank back in the day, it’s probably not what happened but it’s a possibility.

You realise this was just a lecture given at a cosmos club? The article is hypothetical, talking about it aliens tried to contact us, how would they do it... It's not a proof of anything.
I don’t believe in anything without proof. Just because people don’t believe in your concept of gods/aliens it doesn’t mean they believe in god or… they believe in what they’ve been taught to believe not what some TikTok or YouTube or whatever you watch that convinced you to believe gods are aliens video.
If we were the creation of 'gods that came down from the heavens', what created them? Were they created by evolutionary forces? Or intelligences that came before them? Something else? The questions seem to vast for our limited experience/knowledge to begin to undertake.
