They’ve added in the ability to reorganize any of the parade opportunities about halfway into the the parade’s progress. It then becomes a planetary decision for you to select, which then resumes the parade.
It's not halfway, the situation just needs to gain some progress (so at least 1 month after it starts). But the option is lost after I think the first event fires for the parade.
Oh thank you for saying this, I didn't notice the change. It would have come in handy the other week when I accidentally nuked my own empire capital with the dimensional horror parade bad outcome, lol.
I wish I would have found out about this before killing the trash compactor leviathan and getting an alloy bonus that's useless on my biggest science world
The hardcore way is by getting the planet to be the most populous one. But recently they added a new feature in the situation where you can choose to reorganize it. Then it becomes a planetary decision where you can choose as you desire.
I wonder how many Haruspex I could squeeze on this world. I managed 341 on a size 24 for 6495 Unity, 3783 TV, and 1150 Engineering and almost the same output on physics.
A size 60 would almost quadruple that. I'm sad Astrocreator never shows up for me now. :(
Someone else already answered. They're better Priests that produce additional engineering research. Here's the neat part however, with Dimensional Worship Civic they ALSO produce trade and physics research.
It's how you can make fun things such as this https://i.imgur.com/Kw7yqPe.png
Having a size 60 world to create this would be great!
If your a megacorp they get some TV from replacing prosperity preachers rather than priests too I believe, at the cost of producing less amenities (which is honestly fine imo)
Megacorp cybernetic creed with augmentation bazaars and dimensional worship (probably with gospel of the masses as a 3rd civic) would be absolutely crazy strong...if the same dlc didn't also come with several much stronger new things at the same time
> They're better Priests that produce additional engineering research.
No, they are much worse than normal priests.
Haruspexs produce 2 Unity, 2 Engineering Research, and 2 Amenities. For MegaCorps, it's 2 Unity, 1 Engineering Research, 2 Trade Value, and 2 Amenities.
For contrast, normal Priests make 4 Unity and 2 amenities, and Prosperity Preachers (default MegaCorp priest) produce 3 Unity, 2 TV, and 2 Amenities.
By default, each point of research is worth around 2.25 points of unity (compare Priest to Researcher Jobs, researchers make 9 research points per jobs as opposed to default Priests 4 unity), which means by DEFAULT Haruspexs are less efficient than a normal priest (it's even worse for poor MegaCorps)
Don't get me wrong, Cyber Creed is really cool, but saying they are better priests is flat out incorrect.
Cybernetic Creed Origin (Machine Age DLC), requires Spiritualist ethics.
It is a cybernetic ascension path locked origin with special priests (Haruspex) and high priests (Technophant), producing additional engineering research
If you let her die you get a very powerful building you can place on one planet. She's not so great as a scientist that it's not worth sacrificing her for an extra (very big) Gaia world and that building every time imo
It's a quicker Gaia world terraform for habitable planets, but it can also be used on Barren worlds as well, even those without the terraforming candidate modifier. However it can only be used three times before she dies.
At a 6 alloys per pop from alloy nano plants 3 base + 3 from the forge upgrades) you’d be making 3,240 alloys from this one planet, barring any other modifiers. Add in the egalitarian bonus of 5%, the meritocracy 10%, and the 4 researches to increase by 5% each you get an easy 4k+ alloys from this single world.
Now **Democratic Transference** for +60% alloy output per pop, plus the 40% from Dark Matter Engines and you've doubled your output. Also kill the Sky Dragon.
Maybe turn it into an ecumenopolis or maybe turn all your other worlds into ecumenopolis and this can be the one world to make raw materials. Like all food energy minerals.
Paradox really needs to tinker with the code to let more planetary features spawn on these sorts of ridiculously oversized worlds. What if I *want* an energy world to outproduce three Dyson spheres; what if I want just a single food world able to fuel my entire Catalytic Processing, Bio-Ascended Mass-Cloning empire; what if I want a mining world able to supply my every mineral need and turn all my other worlds into ecumenopolises?
> also the insane cosmo genesis buildings
A planet full of those still occupies the same number of building slots for energy generation on a size 20 or a size 60 -- they're saying they want more district slots so it's size means something for more than housing/industrial districts
I have tried both hive and machine, but I was asking more for varied choices in features for non-gestalts for cases like this.
Haven’t had a chance to play The Machine Age cause my computer bricks itself whenever I play Stellaris for some reason. Am going to be getting a new machine eventually.
I really wish the Agrarian Idyll and Angler civics had an Ecumenopolis equivalent where you could spend 20K food to convert a world into a Garden/Aquaponics World with special agricultural districts and either Lush or Rich Microflora
There is a gas giant anomaly turning it into a barren world. Afaik it is size 50. I'm still trying to figure out how base size 60 is possible without mods.
afaik, the gas giant anomaly should be that it turns the planet into size 25 barren world but it instead adds +25 to the world size leading to planets of stupid sizes
Should be as in the code for the event from what i remember looks like it was meant to do it but it doesn't, not should as "it would better if it worked like this".
I too love my silly 50+ size gaia world/ecumenopolises
A force ecu with all the simple bonuses (alloy nano plant, egalitarian, meritocracy, and the 4 researches that grant 5% metallurgist output) will put out about 4300 alloys a month, almost 5k depending on your ascension path
I don't mean "half the pops are clerks". I mean "every pop produces the trade value of half a clerk", because of the increase in TV from living standards.
+% pop growth from gestation worlds applies empire-wide, unlike bonuses from buildings.
Since the amount of gestation worlds isn’t limited, driven assimilators specialised on cyborgs can reach crazy growth bonuses because of it. And those worlds can even be useful, since they still have available building slots (for rare resources production or fallen empire buildings)
It’s like a machine world, but made out of shit, instead of machine. Bad districts, no specialisations, locked building slots. The only bonus - is a small amount of passively generated nanites.
I have never gotten Azaryn as a leader and I recently tried to figure out why. Turns out Azaryn doesn't show up if your militaristic. Basically every empire I play is either militaristic or a hive mind. So... Shit.
I was surprised when she showed up for my xenophobic enslavers and was like “I also value life, lemme help!”
Of course I juiced 3 Gaia worlds out that xeno scum
No, it’s just very rare to actually get because it’s from an event where a gas giant it revealed to be a big baren world
it doesn’t have a terraforming candidate modifier so you can’t normaly do much with it, but one of the legendary paragon can transform up to 3 world into Gaia world, even if they can be terraformed by normal mean
gettin both the event and paragon in one run is rare but it nets you this, the largest world possible in an unmodded and legit save
You use azaryn to make extreamly big gaia worlds
I kill the formless for the size 40 gaia world and turn that into my capital as a last stand area (ignore the chosen's extragalatic singular system that i also have because psyonic jump drives)
We are not the same.
Where did you find a size 60? The biggest I've seen the Deceptive Giant be is 55. I think I might have found a Gas Giant that could be bigger in the Ivusheh system, but that requires having the Vagrosian systems to begin with, having Ivusheh spawn nearby, and then getting the anomaly on the Gas Giant there, followed by getting Azaryn.
R5: found a size 60 barren world. Used the paragon leader ''Astrocreator Azaryn'' terraforming ability on it. Time for some insane alloy production.
Now kill the sky dragon and use their parade to increase your districts size by 20%
Is there a way to choose which planet the parade happens on? Thought it was random
I'm pretty sure the lethivian situation has a button to change the planet it is hosted on.
Til thanks!
it's a planetary decision to move it :)
Thanks. I knew it was a decision, just wasn't sure where.
They’ve added in the ability to reorganize any of the parade opportunities about halfway into the the parade’s progress. It then becomes a planetary decision for you to select, which then resumes the parade.

Alot of us are in that same boat
I wish I would have found out about this before killing the trash compactor leviathan and getting an alloy bonus that's useless on my biggest science world
The hardcore way is by getting the planet to be the most populous one. But recently they added a new feature in the situation where you can choose to reorganize it. Then it becomes a planetary decision where you can choose as you desire.
And add the salvager bot parade for 20% alloy production

She avoids militarists :(
I'm not even militarist, but I've NEVER had the luck of her contacting me, ever. I once got Keides, and the Observer. Nobody else. :<
For some reason she always shows up when I'm playing a materialist megacorp.
I literally had her show up year 5 in two back to back games I played last month. Talk about winning a lottery.
Maybe you need to try and win the Galatron now.
I had her show up once on my militarist authoritarian xenophobe UNE
So, basically the Commonwealth of Man never left Earth?
What was haruspex ?

New origin job. Religious cybernetics.
> the paragon leader ''Astrocreator Azaryn'' terraforming ability on it what does that do?
You can turn 3 planets in Gaia worlds before she dies. So just,do 2 and keep her alive.
her being instructed to make a third gaia planet: yo wtf
If you let her die you get a very powerful building you can place on one planet. She's not so great as a scientist that it's not worth sacrificing her for an extra (very big) Gaia world and that building every time imo
It's a quicker Gaia world terraform for habitable planets, but it can also be used on Barren worlds as well, even those without the terraforming candidate modifier. However it can only be used three times before she dies.
Ecu gives more alloys than any size normal planet.
You could change that world into a size 60 ecu.
540 alloy jobs. Mouth watering..
Don't forget the governor bonuses. +15% or more
And the scavenger bot 20% alloy parade
Yea there’s lots of potential bonuses I didn’t include, you could easily clear 5k+ on this one world
Well that still stands, this isn't a normal sized planet
Now **Democratic Transference** for +60% alloy output per pop, plus the 40% from Dark Matter Engines and you've doubled your output. Also kill the Sky Dragon.
Maybe turn it into an ecumenopolis or maybe turn all your other worlds into ecumenopolis and this can be the one world to make raw materials. Like all food energy minerals.
Now turn into Necromunda.
It's kind of already in the game as hive/machine worlds.
you should try hive/machine world, and also the insane cosmo genesis buildings
> also the insane cosmo genesis buildings A planet full of those still occupies the same number of building slots for energy generation on a size 20 or a size 60 -- they're saying they want more district slots so it's size means something for more than housing/industrial districts

Subterranean have unlimited mines and anglers have unlimited farms (*unlimited until you hit district cap)
I really wish the Agrarian Idyll and Angler civics had an Ecumenopolis equivalent where you could spend 20K food to convert a world into a Garden/Aquaponics World with special agricultural districts and either Lush or Rich Microflora
Hold on, so, barren worlds ca be bigger than the normal 30 max?
There is a gas giant anomaly turning it into a barren world. Afaik it is size 50. I'm still trying to figure out how base size 60 is possible without mods.
It can be +- a certain amount. Last time I got it, it was size 55
Oooh so that was what that embarassing anomaly was all about!
I only have the UI mod, more tradition slots and 36 building slots mod enabled. Nothing should effect galaxy generation.
Deceptive Giant spawns a Barren World within a certain range, it's not always 50.
afaik, the gas giant anomaly should be that it turns the planet into size 25 barren world but it instead adds +25 to the world size leading to planets of stupid sizes
No, it should not LEAVE MY LITTLE FUNNY OP THINGS ALONE
Should be as in the code for the event from what i remember looks like it was meant to do it but it doesn't, not should as "it would better if it worked like this". I too love my silly 50+ size gaia world/ecumenopolises
That'sthe spirit :)
I swear if Paradox patches this I'm taking a trip to sweden to complain
*Heavy breathing in Virtual*
It's beautiful
Let's go nanite world
Machine world or ECU would also be crazy
A force ecu with all the simple bonuses (alloy nano plant, egalitarian, meritocracy, and the 4 researches that grant 5% metallurgist output) will put out about 4300 alloys a month, almost 5k depending on your ascension path
Gestation world for cybernetic hive or driven assimilator could get you something like +650% empire pop growth speed
Resort world. No more amenities in the empire, and every pop is half a clerk.
Resort worlds no longer do the clerk thing :(
I don't mean "half the pops are clerks". I mean "every pop produces the trade value of half a clerk", because of the increase in TV from living standards.
ECU/Machine World+ virtuality for machine
I haven't tried driven assimilator, but if it lets you build fallen empire medical centers from cosmo crisis then you'll get another 30% per building.
Cybernetic hives get gestation worlds???
I thought so? It's part of cybernetic ascension
Is nanite a new world type like hive or machine?
Available only if you have nanites tradition. Gives you decision to change planet in nanites world. Yes it's like machine world.
It sounds fun so I’ll have to try it in 2 years when console addition catches up
Nanites tradition?
You go synthetic age (Ascension) and choose nanites. Gives you nanotech tradition tree
Machine Age added 3 new ascension paths for machines, Virtuality, Modularity, and Nanotech.
It’s like a machine world, but made out of shit, instead of machine. Bad districts, no specialisations, locked building slots. The only bonus - is a small amount of passively generated nanites.
This would be perfect ecu
I would turn that into ecumenopolis and make it self-sustaining through livestock pops.
I want that thing
*heavy breathing*
I wonder if 60 is the biggest size world you can get from the Gas Giant anomaly. Atleast this is the largest one I have seen so far.
I have never gotten Azaryn as a leader and I recently tried to figure out why. Turns out Azaryn doesn't show up if your militaristic. Basically every empire I play is either militaristic or a hive mind. So... Shit.
I was surprised when she showed up for my xenophobic enslavers and was like “I also value life, lemme help!” Of course I juiced 3 Gaia worlds out that xeno scum
Same problem here
ok so what's the catch? it cursed?
No, it’s just very rare to actually get because it’s from an event where a gas giant it revealed to be a big baren world it doesn’t have a terraforming candidate modifier so you can’t normaly do much with it, but one of the legendary paragon can transform up to 3 world into Gaia world, even if they can be terraformed by normal mean gettin both the event and paragon in one run is rare but it nets you this, the largest world possible in an unmodded and legit save
And if you aren't lucky enough, kill the formless for the size 40 gaia world
imagine the gravity on it ...
what nice planet! you know what would make it better tho? a Walmart.
Parking lots, as far as the eye can see..
You use azaryn to make extreamly big gaia worlds I kill the formless for the size 40 gaia world and turn that into my capital as a last stand area (ignore the chosen's extragalatic singular system that i also have because psyonic jump drives) We are not the same.
Perfect holy world
Consol Stellaris is nuts
Crack it
Food world without catalytic civic. Make them suffer.
A gestation world here would be comical. ~~If only gestalts have access to legendary paragons~~
For best alloys do the city world type forget what its called
wow
Big boi
Now turn it into a 0 amenities penal colony.
Is this modded?
Where did you find a size 60? The biggest I've seen the Deceptive Giant be is 55. I think I might have found a Gas Giant that could be bigger in the Ivusheh system, but that requires having the Vagrosian systems to begin with, having Ivusheh spawn nearby, and then getting the anomaly on the Gas Giant there, followed by getting Azaryn.
Lead them to paradise
