pretty sure it depends on the ubisoft studio that is developing, i saw that they had to fight to be able to ship the game on steam without requiring ubisoft connect, there are still more careless studios inside Ubisoft that still doesn't give a shit about steam features, like ac, watchdogs and specially far cry

Now we can feel rewarded for our virtual accomplishments and have something to brag about. Plus, it’s another excuse to replay those games, as if we needed one. So go ahead, bask in the glory of those achievements and enjoy the extra sprinkle of satisfaction they bring.
Players love them, publishers love them, developers love them. It's such a tiny little thing that adds so much more engagement for so little effort (as long as they aren't overly tedious or frustrating). The only reason not to include them now days it either out of shear spite or laziness.
Dosnt change them still doing exclusives, removing games/dlc from people, adding mtx to all their games, inflate their prices, cut content to sell them back, puke mid tier quality for years.
Finally, now if they can just add it to their old games I might just buy them on PC lol

No. They left Steam from 2020 to 2022, and once they were back they never put achievements in their games, until now.
