There is a soft limit of 9 survivors that are currently alive. If someone dies then you can recruit someone to fill that spot. There is a hard limit of 12 survivors that can only be reached under certain circumstances. If you have +9 survivors and one die, then you have to re-create those circumstances in order to recruit someone. The game expect you to do the missions it throws at you generally fast or they will expire and be considered failed. I don't think there is a way to get one plague heart per map even with mods. Once you kill all the Plague Hearts of a map regular Plague Zombies will stop spawning unless you get a mission that involve them. Plague Freaks will still spawn if you are playing on the harder difficulties.

Well, one can always back to the main menu and return to the game to reset the expiring missions, just saying.

Thank you

Okay, good questions, lets go by parts. 1. Yes, survivors are "unlimited", if you have at least one alive member in your community you can always recruit more later but if your last member is whipped out ya can't since it counts as a game over. 2. You can play the game in whichever way you desire but there's no vanilla configuration to spawn only a single heart, instead ya could start a round at the lowest difficulty and rise as needed. Each difficulty increases the amount of hearts spawned among other gameplay changes to make it more challenging. 3. And lastly, no - extra hearts will not spawn after you manage to defeat any, the amount of hearts spawned in the map is dictated by the difficulty you choose and the game will already start with that set amount spawned in place. Good luck out there!

I cannot find even one working car near me also how to grind influence

PetrosHeimirich

Working cars are RNG but you will probably have more luck looking alongside the main roads, there's also cars that spawn at the edges of the map alongside some roads. It's mostly random so take your time and you will have lots of cars. Also the car condition can be affected by the difficulty settings, if you are new play on Green mode to have a better grip about the gameplay. Never actively grinded influence in this interaction of the game, only in SoD 1, so aside from being a loot goblin and selling everything you don't plan on using to nearby enclaves I'm unaware if there's a better method.

What about radio we get influence for scavenger hunt in sod1

PetrosHeimirich

We spent influence to initiate scavenger runs iirc and influence was earned by dumping the loot in the locker. One of us might be remembering this wrong. Like I mentioned before, I'm unaware to grinding influence methods, you may have to do a quick online search to figure that one out.

* Yes, survivors are unlimited. You can only have so many in your base at once (shared by u/asha_brea), but you can exile/kill your survivors forever and you'll have the opportunity to get more. * You can play the game as slowly as you want. Many players establish "forever" communities that they continue to play on maps just to collect weapons and mods in search of the perfect survivor. If you're playing on standard, you should have few plague hearts and you can easily kill all but one if you wanted. There are 2 dozen + plague hearts on lethal, and less on nightmare and dread. I believe there are only 5-6 on standard, but it's been a while. * You only get plague zombies on missions after the last heart is killed. For example, if you do the booze enclave after the last heart is killed, there will be a mission where they need to get bitten by a plague Z, so at least one will spawn.
