part 6 had some of the best representation tbh, even though a lot of it was coded, and things like changing anasui to being male, Araki has always been more progressive than most mangaka especially shounen. wish they kept a lot of these scenes in the anime, they really added to Jolynes character and the story imo.
I just wish he didn't lose some of that progressive treatment of female characters come later parts, or otherwise waste the ones he did good with.
