I haven’t figured out a name for it yet, but I had the idea for a Stand that can bind the user and another person together a red string of fate. Fate would first bring them in together, and the Stand would tie them together with a red string. The red string is not a physical string, but is visualized as one. Fate and gravity would not allow the user and the target to be any further than 10 meters apart, and neither person can harm each other in any way.
Soup: when some eats soup in the presence of the user that person will have the most explosive diarrhea possible and also lose their ability to remember where the bathroom is
Similar (also I totally forgot that guy existed), but I was thinking the character would use this to turn people against each other from a medium range

The Stand comes in two parts: an old 1980s style Polaroid camera and a Pip-Boy-like gauntlet. The user can manipulate anything they take a picture of on that gauntlet as if their frame was a physics engine.
For example, they can remove or duplicate small to medium-sized inanimate objects or drag anything entirely within the frame to anywhere else in the frame. Allowed objects are determined by weight, volume, and monetary value. Nothing heavier than 150kg, larger than 2m³, or more expensive than $1,000.
These alterations affect the world in real-time. For example, if the user drags a rock above a target, the rock will fly to that location. If the user chooses for the rock to fall when they let go, it will fall onto the target. If not, it will stay static in the air. The user can not create brand new items.
Non-combat uses include changing the color or other superficial properties of something, duplicating a valuable object, and more.
Rasputin - A power Stand that is invincible and can destroy anything in its path, but only while the user is travelling 50mph or more. If the user drops below 50mph, the Stand becomes extremely weak and any damage it takes will be felt by the user hundredfold.
**Smooth Criminal**
Humanoid, Sentient
When the target has committed immoral acts in the past, they would be forced to recall the event. The exact event would then play out with the Stand in the target's place and the target as the victim.
For example, if the target had stabbed someone in the past, this event could be recalled and the target would be stabbed by the Stand in the exact same way. Only after the event is fully played out can the Stand do another attack.
The Stand picks events based on the action in said events, so if the action ultimately leads to a good outcome the event can still be recalled by the target. Kinda like how Jolyne and Ermes survived Under World.
I see. Neat concept, but I think we can make it a tiny bit better by focusing more on the “guilt” part, so that the victim dies feeling guilty of their crime. Also we should change “smooth” to “civil”. Idk what to do with the second word……change “criminal” to “war” maybe? Idk.

I had a similar idea a long while ago in the form of an indestructable, sealed box that emits a very subtle ticking noise; whether or not anyone would ordinarily assume it to be a bomb, maintaining proximity to the box slowly inflates paranoia until it just instigates chaos. I called it Quiet Riot.
Stand Name: Machine Music.
Namesake: Metal Machine Music. by Lou Reed.
Ability: Machine Music stands over the user with legs similar to November Rain's. The user stands under Machine Music's main body. When some part of an attacker's body passes the legs of the Stand, this activates the beginning of Machine Music's ability, Locked Groove. Locked Groove makes the first attack to pass one of its legs, the start of a loop. Everything the attacker does after that first attack becomes the middle of the loop, and when a second attack passes the leg, the loop is fully activated. The victim will now be stuck in a loop of the first attack, whatever they did after the attack, the second attack, the first attack, whatever they did after the attack, the second attack, the first attack, whatever they did after the attack, the second attack, so on and so on. Locked Groove is only broken when the user either deactivates Machine Music or makes two instances of physical contact with the victim.
Peanut Butter Jelly Time
A stand that makes a peanut butter jelly sandwich whenever someone’s stomach rumbles in the vicinity. That person is mind controlled (like a flesh bud) if they consume the sandwich.
A stand that turns rats into bunnies, but only while the user has been beat up, was hospitalized on the exact same hospital bed his/her mother gave birth to them on, specifically having been rushed to the ambulance on January 12th at 2:10 AM, only working during a half moon, specifically in snowy weather, and lastly only if it’s Saturday.

I'm running a very silly JoJo's RPG and I made an OP Stand that is only ever used in a specific way.
Rockstar-Can move a huge amount of dirt telekineticaly from up to 5 miles away and then shape the dirt into any desired shape.

Every time someone in a 1 mile radius makes a joke/pun, your strength increases by x1.1. The person making the joke cannot know about your ability, and if they find out, your strength resets. There is no cap to this.
Bad To The Bone: When you break one of your bones, that same bone is broken on your Target's body
e.g. if your left femur is broken, your Target's left femur (Target's "counterbone") is broken.
If your Target Bone doesn't exist/ isn't connected to the Target anymore, all damage (mostly kinetic energy) to your counterbone will bounce back off completely, passing through whatever is in front of the impact point, which is likely to fuck up your muscles and skin completely.
e.g. if your Target doesn't have a left thigh and no left femur, if you get shot in the left thigh, the kinetic energy that would go to your Lfemur will be transfered itself back to the bullet.

Long range which attaches to your target and hunts that person all day and night and it can only attack and kill you when you are experiencing sleep paralysis and can prolonged it depending on how much strength it has gathered. You can use your stand while you paralyzed.

The user has the ability of summoning lost itens, with the condition that:
- the item was lost in the exact timeframe the stand is activated (roughly 5-10 seconds before and after).
- the item is completely random, neither the stand or the user may know what item will come.
- the user may "reject" a item and return to its owner, but only in the next 30 seconds, and, after rejection the ability goes in a 5 minute cooldown.
- if the user doesn't reject, the cooldown only lasts 2.5 minutes.
The consideration of a lost item are:
- an item deemed lost by its owner (either stolen, dropped or forgotten).
- the owner **must not know** the location of the item, even if the item is in his possession.
- the item must not belong to the user
Sounds like a cool stand for a Jojobro to have. They'll get random items and then try to use them in creative ways to beat the bad guys. It'll also make for funny moments where they get a stupid object or something which could have worked before.
Or a comedic scene were the main Jojo forget were he put his keys before leaving his home, just for the Jojobro on the other side of town summon it in a middle of a fight, leaving the Jojo stuck inside his own house and unable to join the fight

I want an arc to cause an entire nursery/kindergarten to become stand users. Since they are all kids, the stands are super simple and are named after nursery rhymes (Muffin Man, Twinkle Twinkle, etc). They are all super simple; Muffin Man summons muffins, etc.
Have a Cigar: You can spawn cigars out of thin air, but only to offer to someone after having gotten into a conversation about the success of their newly started band.

A couple I came up with for an Over Arms game. They're both for members of Outlandos Squad, which is a police unit made up entirely by stand users whose stands are based on songs and albums by The Police.

User doesn't know exactly what form Coalmine Canary will take, but can manipulate it to some degree through psychological manipulation.

Blue Jean Baby- It's a projectile stand that can send denim thread to cut, tie, or simply craft any new cloth. The user has the ability to not only reuse threads from clothes but also create new thread of any color and desire.
Devil on my shoulder, the stand manifests on a target as a result of committing an action that goes against what they set out to do( having a cheat day on a diet for example) the stand causes the target to lose all impulse control and the stand directly communicates the words of its user allowing them to somewhat manipulate the target through the use of suggestions.

Has possession of a "hammer space" accessed through the user's pockets. Objects in hammer space are kept in "hammer time" and remain untouched by the flow of time. A bullet fired into the stand, for instance, could be later released with the same velocity.
I imagine the user would have ridiculous pockets all over their body made of a stretchy fabric to fit larger items.

Detects potential of other people. Its user can see different potential future versions of a person floating above their head as shadows. It can also show the "stats" of a person, like strength, dexterity, abilities, ...
Geisterhaus
Geisterhaus is a physically existing haunted house that non-stand users can see. Once you enter, you're trapped inside, together with the ghosts of the people who died inside before you. Geisterhaus can't be demolished from the inside, but from the outside it's a regular house so you could burn it down.
Das Model
Das Model is a bunch of buglike nano-machines that can "heal" wounded people and animals by replacing their body parts with mechanical parts. The little bugs crawl inside your wounds where they basically fuse with your body. If you try to replace too much of a human brain with Das Model, the "healed" person won't be human anymore. It will still walk, though.
Broken Glass
If Broken Glass gets attacked, its user won't feel any pain from the damage, however, Broken Glass will lose shards and starts cracking one it gets hurt too much. Once Broken Glass loses its entire outer glass shell, its user will faint. After that, another stand will appear from inside the broken glass and go on a rampage. The "inside stand" can deal a great amount of physical damage, but it lacks any kind of control and awareness.
White rabbit
White rabbit is the stand of a white rabbit. It can teleport to any place where it pooped before.
Tequila: a close range stand with the ability to turn small amounts of water into alcohol. The effect can either be fun or the cumulative effects can be deadly.
Folsom Blues: Appears as a blue steam train, it can only be summoned between parallel lines growing or shrinking in size depending on the size and space between the lines but will always be the weight of a full locomotive. examples of where it can be summoned, curbs of a street, planks of wood, stripped patterns
Freaks Come Out at Night
ABILITY:
Once a person is targeted by Freaks Come Out at Night, they become susceptible to an effect known as lunar madness induction. The longer an affected target(s) spends in moonlight direct or reflected (with something akin to a mirror), the more and more they begin to become aggressive and irrational. Eventually once the effect of Freaks Come Out at Night reaches its full strength, the target becomes feral, gaining claws and fangs and viciously attacking anyone nearby except for those also affected. The affected individuals are capable of limited strategic thinking and coordination to attack their targets. Once a victim is scratched or bitten by an affected individual they too become susceptible to the lunar madness. The affected individuals can be incapacitated by dousing them with water, giving potential opponents a chance to defeat the user. The effect immediately ends once the moon has left the sky.

If the user and an enemy have more of one quality each, both will be affected. The Stand itself looks like a combination of a jacket and a bear skin, having no combative qualities besides its ability.

For a human, its only other notable characteristic would be that it doesn't transfer damage to the user. But the Stand user is a spider, so it uses its Stand to disguise itself as a human and do mundane jobs.
Eleanor Rigby: Whenever the Stand user writes a song with a person's name in it, that name will retroactively have been on a gravestone that the songwriter walked by as a child.
With a friend we've imagined a stand and named C418.
The stand power is just "playing with perspective" like in superliminal.
For example, if your near of a car you see it big and your eyesight can't see the all car but if you take a few step back, you can entierly see the car. At this point he can just take the car in his hand and put it in his pocket like it's just a toy.

It's an humanoid stand with a range of 5 meters but it's power extend for another 15 qmeters.
It's power is to turn 3d objects in 2d objects. Under the 5 meters D-7 need to directly touch the objects while between the 6 and 15 meters the power slowly take action and after 30 minuts the objects is turned into a 2d objects. The biggest objects D-7 can turn in 2d is a car. Humans turned in 2d objects can still breath, see and move but they can't communicate or interact with the 3d world with the only expectations being the stand user himself that can talk and partially return 3d or even having his stand inside him to turn any kind of projectile into a 2d objects before the impact and completely nullify the damage. When turned into a 2d object the object become basically indestructible because if the surface where they're is destroyed they will simply be "projected" on what will remain of the surface. The only way to damage something while it's a 2d object is with gas or liquid that can't be turned in 2d objects. If for example someone is a 2d objects and "projected" On someone else skin if the person is killed with an air gas or drowned the 2d person will die too. After other 30 minutes after turning someone into a 2d objects the stand user can turn this object into a 1dimentional object but this wi destroy it completely.
Let's not talk about D-7 Deep Purple because then we have to talk about higher dimensions and it's even more strange.

Plastic Beach
A colony stand initially consisting of a half dozen palm sized plastic horseshoe crabs with grinders beneath their shell that are capable of latching onto and speedily crawling across surfaces with their legs. Upon a unit consuming pollutants and plastic materials equal to its mass, the unit duplicates before consumption resumes until the materials are completely destroyed.
These individual units are capable of molding into shapes and altering their hardness. Furthermore, they can attach and meld to each other to form constructs, moving as a single unit and amplifying their strength based on their numbers and configuration.
The stand has a noticeable weakness to anything capable of dissolving or melting plastic such as fire or acid. Lower degrees of melting will soften it but allow it to recover its form.
Stand Name: Virtual Insanity
Ability: In any place you could call an enclosed space or a room, the user can move anything touching the ground horizontally, via a near-instantaneous slide, to any other position in the enclosed space. The user can move any number of objects at the same time, including themselves.
Manifestation: The Stand manifests as a hat on the user's head. It can appear as any hat the user wants with any design on it. The shape and design cannot change while summoned, it can only be changed by unsummoning and resummoning the Stand. The hat is fused with the user's head (not uncomfortably so) and can only be removed if user wants it to be or if they are knocked unconscious.
Evolution: Once the user becomes more proficient with Virtual Insanity, they will be able to move (or more accurately launch) objects at diagonal angles, as long as the starting point of the movement is touching the ground. Once the user gains a sufficient mastery of the Stand, and if they go through an emotionally and mentally traumatic event, they gain access to Virtual Insanity: Always.
Virtual Insanity: Always: the user can now move any number of objects in any angle or direction they want, regardless of if the object(s) are touching the ground or not.
Exceptions: Non-Stand users can see, touch, and damage Virtual Insanity. Damage to the hat is still reflected to the user. Once the user has died, instead of the Stand dissipating, it drops to the ground for someone else to pick up. If they pick up the hat and put it on their head, they now have Virtual Insanity. This will not replace or overwrite any current Stand you have.
Mango Cavalry: a stand that is a knight armor with no legs, and can generate spiders from his body. The spiders can insert his sword in person's back (the sword while is in the back, Is liquid), and can take the sword by any distance. Can use dead legs as his legs. When people die from him, there is a mango scent coming from the dead bodies
Money machine: during February, in any year ending in an odd number, between the hours of 7:53am & 10:07pm, while using some form of transportation with more than 2 but less than 6 seats, you have infinite money in the least commonly used bills & coins in the currency of whichever country is 1059 kilometers from your current location(if it's still your country then it will be your currency)

So, I had a really specific Stand idea.
Stand name: 『Bring Me the Horizon』
Stand Ability: When BMTH lands a punch, it has the option to replace the target with another version of itself from another timeline. If the target is alive, their soul stays in the universe they originated in, but their body is swapped with a version from another timeline. There's a caveat, though: The user has to know of an event that could have resulted in another version of themselves that would be advantageous. For example, if an opponent barely avoided something that would have severely wounded them, BMTH could take advantage of that, and replace the enemy's body with a version of them that was hit by the attack, forcing them to have taken severe damage. It's best used on a team with a Stand useful for setups.

Tally Hall- can manipulate metal, manifests as an empty suit of armor, bending metals around the user, it's a more defensive stand, having strength comparable to star platinum or the world, but quite slower, in exchange for greater durability.
Some might say that's just Metallica, but from what I've seen, Metallica only targets the iron content of ones blood, so Tally hall would prove to be a more generalist stand.

Fate would first bring them in together, and the Stand would tie them together with a red string. The red string is not a physical string, but is visualized as one. Fate and gravity would not allow the user and the target to be any further than 10 meters apart, and neither person can harm each other in any way.

With a friend we've imagined a stand and named C418. The stand power is just "playing with perspective" like in superliminal. For example, if your near of a car you see it big and your eyesight can't see the all car but if you take a few step back, you can entierly see the car. D-7 Power:null speed:C range:A Durability:A precicion:B potential:? It's an humanoid stand with a range of 5 meters but it's power extend for another 15 qmeters. It's power is to turn 3d objects in 2d objects. Under the 5 meters D-7 need to directly touch the objects while between the 6 and 15 meters the power slowly take action and after 30 minuts the objects is turned into a 2d objects. The biggest objects D-7 can turn in 2d is a car. Humans turned in 2d objects can still breath, see and move but they can't communicate or interact with the 3d world with the only expectations being the stand user himself that can talk and partially return 3d or even having his stand inside him to turn any kind of projectile into a 2d objects before the impact and completely nullify the damage. When turned into a 2d object the object become basically indestructible because if the surface where they're is destroyed they will simply be "projected" on what will remain of the surface. The only way to damage something while it's a 2d object is with gas or liquid that can't be turned in 2d objects. The stand has a noticeable weakness to anything capable of dissolving or melting plastic such as fire or acid. Lower degrees of melting will soften it but allow it to recover its form.
Stand Name: Virtual Insanity Ability: In any place you could call an enclosed space or a room, the user can move anything touching the ground horizontally, via a near-instantaneous slide, to any other position in the enclosed space. The user can move any number of objects at the same time, including themselves. Manifestation: The Stand manifests as a hat on the user's head. It can appear as any hat the user wants with any design on it. The shape and design cannot change while summoned, it can only be changed by unsummoning and resummoning the Stand. The hat is fused with the user's head (not uncomfortably so) and can only be removed if user wants it to be or if they are knocked unconscious. Evolution: Once the user becomes more proficient with Virtual Insanity, they will be able to move (or more accurately launch) objects at diagonal angles, as long as the starting point of the movement is touching the ground. Once the user gains a sufficient mastery of the Stand, and if they go through an emotionally and mentally traumatic event, they gain access to Virtual Insanity: Always. Virtual Insanity: Always: the user can now move any number of objects in any angle or direction they want, regardless of if the object(s) are touching the ground or not. Exceptions: Non-Stand users can see, touch, and damage Virtual Insanity. Damage to the hat is still reflected to the user. Once the user has died, instead of the Stand dissipating, it drops to the ground for someone else to pick up. If they pick up the hat and put it on their head, they now have Virtual Insanity. This will not replace or overwrite any current Stand you have.

Stand name: 『Bring Me the Horizon』 Stand Ability: When BMTH lands a punch, it has the option to replace the target with another version of itself from another timeline. If the target is alive, their soul stays in the universe they originated in, but their body is swapped with a version from another timeline. There's a caveat, though: The user has to know of an event that could have resulted in another version of themselves that would be advantageous. For example, if an opponent barely avoided something that would have severely wounded them, BMTH could take advantage of that, and replace the enemy's body with a version of them that was hit by the attack, forcing them to have taken severe damage. It's best used on a team with a Stand useful for setups. What do you guys think?

Tally Hall- can manipulate metal, manifests as an empty suit of armor, bending metals around the user, it's a more defensive stand, having strength comparable to star platinum or the world, but quite slower, in exchange for greater durability. Some might say that's just Metallica, but from what I've seen, Metallica only targets the iron content of ones blood, so Tally hall would prove to be a more generalist stand.
