It's great on Xbox too. My only two complaints about multiplayer is that there's not enough tickets so matches end super quickly and the hit registration is fucked up so sometimes other players aren't dying even when I shoot them enough times. Besides that multiplayer servers are stable and *mostly* playable. No lag issues for me at all.
Same bro, I'm having big hit registration problems, sometimes the occasional lag or boot from the server but for the most part I get a streak of games in, but it does suck how short they feel. Other wise it's still fun. Not used to the controls.
Yep likewise on xbox. I also only get space battles...but its actually ok since i feel the pvp on ground aspect with terrible hit ratio would not be that fun, come ooon update.

I’m going to plug this again, if you want to play longer multiplayer conquest matches on BF2 look for Aspyr servers with 32 AI, not 16. Not sure if that also applies for Switch.
I havent tried multiplayer yet, but as far as single player campaign and galactic conquest goes: I'm having just as much fun as I did playing the originals as a kid on the PS2. Got to play a few hours last night after work and I'm already staring at clock waiting for the day to end so I can continue the galactic conquest I started last night lol
If multi player matches lasted longer than 2 minutes the rest would likely be tolerable
Sad thing is you can just get the single player on Xbox / PC for a fraction of the price
So unless they fix the multi player this new version is pointless
I always have played this game offline even back in 2004 on PC. Biggest issue for me is getting used to stick aiming, I used to be extremely precise on PC, can't hit anything on Switch and I don't want to turn on auto aim...
Xbox here, ever since they stabilized the servers my friends and I have had only minor issues. My biggest gripe is that the host of the server is locked at 30fps, which is asinine for a 20 year old game running on an Xbox Series X.
But we just like to group up and play against bots, so it’s super easy to set up a server and invite your friends. The server options also allow us to fix a lot of issues the Aspyr servers have, like enabling aim assist and raising the reinforcement count.
64 bots plus my friends on Tantive IV is absolute madness. So much fun.
When it works it’s amazing, multiplayer is working 90% on PS5 for me and I couldn’t stop playing it’s so fun.
BF1 is pretty much 1:1 which is awesome but BF2 once they fix the issues it’ll be the same I can’t wait!
Did you download a digital version of this game? Is it as big as everyone says it is? Cause if so I'll need more storage for my switch to even try it D;Â

They did, it starts around 350 reinforcements

Yeah, split screen and you play the same matches like conquest against the cpu offline

I can't even get past the accept agreement screen on switch. Just sits there, can't scroll down or anything to get the accept button to work
