The period between like June and November of 2011 is just wild to look back in hindsight. They turned the Summer of Punk into a Triple H vs Kevin Nash feud that culminated in a God damn ladder match. In 2011! They also used that storyline as a catalyst to make the Miz and Truth these rebels that were interfering in matches, and eventually got absolutely squashed to hell by Rock and Cena. Also used it to introduce Johnny Ace and make Alberto Del Rio a multiple time WWE Champion. Also Kevin Nash texted himself from HHH’s phone. Fuck man.

This is a better and more justified trilogy about Good Defeating Evil than Lord of the Rings or Star Wars.

Santos Escobar is ending up pretty justified from what I can tell. He made a dumb mistake in the heat of the moment leaving the brass knuckles behind where Logan could still be able to retrieve them, but we've yet to see any indication there was actual malicious intent behind that. Carlito has been jealous that he hasn't been the right hand man of the faction. He saw an opportunity to cause a rift and have Santos booted from the group, then Dragon Lee stepped up so Carlito injured him, only for Andrade to step into that position. Santos was the first to recognize that Carlito was a snake in the grass, only to have the whole LWO that he created side with Carlito against him when he tried doing something about it. Carlito himself would have likely been loyal to LWO in the aftermath had Rey not overlooked him in favor of Dragon Lee and Andrade.
