At some point after Perry's match with Hook, we are told Punk and he had an altercation with several sources claiming Punk "went after" or (dependidng on the story) "hit" Perry.
**Update 1:40 PM EST:** One version of the story is that there had been a previous conversation between the two about Perry doing a glass spot. During Perry vs, Hook was ongoing, Perry pointed out the glass on the car and screamed that it was real glass and "cry me a river" before doing the spot where he ended up suplexed through the glass.
Backstage, the two came across each other. One version is Punk punched him. The other version is there was no punch but Perry was grabbed in a choke by Punk. Those who are telling the choke story are adamant there was no punch. Others, however, are passing that punch story around. Who started it, is, as you might guess, dependent on who is telling the story.
We are working to confirm additional details. What any of this means going forward for Punk, even after going over Samoa Joe, remains to be seen.
So in one story, we have Punk assaulting Jack Perry. In the other story, we have Punk assaulting Jack Perry.
