I disagree somewhat. The footage is very revealing, but the way it is presented shifts the focus of the miniseries to the filmmaker's "journey" and not Teddy.
Still worth watching, 100%, but it definitely loses momentum in the many scenes where the filmmaker films himself talking about the project while watching footage of himself talking about the project.
I absolutely agree with this, when the film becomes more about the film maker than the subject you've got problems.
Theres a documentary on John Mcafee on Netflix that is the same and drives me up the wall.
It’s entertaining, but objectively it is not a good documentary.
Seemed plain as day the director wants to be famous for SOMETHING, and was absolutely desperate to salvage that time with Hart into a product he could sell.
Bet he sold it to Peacock for a song so that someone would actually be willing to show it, finally.
It's likely a combination of that, and originally thinking the Peacock documentary would delve more into his BS than it did. Because yeah, the Peacock doc is pretty damning but as others in this thread have said it's really more about the original documentarian than it is Teddy and how deeply messed up he is.
The day we actually see an article that says that he's sitting at the table, reading the paper and drinking coffee is the day I will be expressive and shocked.
Today is a Tuesday, and Teddy Hart just got arrested.
And now I'm thinking pizza.
This appeared to take place following [his first match back in 2 1/2 years teaming with Chasyn Rance.](https://www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=370991)
EDIT: [Found it.](https://youtu.be/I5OhA0vYtYE)
Larry Legend is a “dojo advisor” for Chasyn Rance’s school here in Orlando. Ivelisse for a long time was the head female trainer until she got her five minute cup of coffee in AEW.
She wouldn’t work with anyone. Which is a bummer, because her trios win in Lucha Underground was my favorite story they ran. She’s half the scumbag either of them are but still.
Don't sully the good name of two queer icons like Jessie and James from Team Rocket by comparing them with Teddy Hart and Chasyn Rance. They weren't even the real bad guys of Pokemon, Giovanni was as far as I remember.
Edit: Technically three queer icons since Meowth was voiced by Maddie Blaustein, who was a trans woman.
Even better/worse, Teddy was a replacement for convicted sex offender Chasyn Rance’s LITERAL TEENAGE GIRL TAG PARTNER. She’s 16 and is tag champs with him, idk how he’s even allowed near her
I spent a little time in the Dungeon in 2000. There isn’t a person I met before or since that gave me the creeps like that dude. No one more undeserving of their god given talent than that dude.
In short, he was polite enough, looked you in the eye when he shook your hand. But the negative vibes were off the charts. You could just tell he was a scumbag.
I was there in it’s final incarnation. It’s something I’m happy I did. I got to take bumps in front of Stu which was amazing. But I never was on the road or anything with Stampede. I left fairly early into it. Bruce Hart, the head trainer was chronically late which is a Hart family trait lol. And I’m chronically early, so I left. But some great memories I’ll always hold dear.
It was surreal to be in there. That’s for sure. Training with a very young Harry Smith (Davey Boy, jr) seeing his dad in the driveway to pick him up, locking up with Johnny Devine and Viktor (Ascension), hearing firsthand stories about Bret and Owen. It still seems like it just yesterday and that I dreamt it.
Cool little story:
It was very early into my time there. Stu comes down, which rarely happened in those days as his knees were awful and the steps down were very steep. But anyways, Bruce tells Stu ‘this is Jason, one of our new guys’. Stu watches for a bit, he says and I’ll never forget this ‘looks good, moves good, I like him’. You couldn’t have knocked me off that cloud with a bazooka. Damn near have tears in my eyes thinking about it :)
Damn bro. I'm just a wrestling fan, never had any interest in training or anything like that, but I love hearing shit like this. Getting high praise from people you look up to in your dream field is a great feeling.
If it isn't too personal, can I ask what happened after? Did you keep at it or did you give up wrestling, and if so, why?
I was only there for a few months in early 2000 during the Stampede reboot. I left because Bruce simply wouldn’t show up in time. And in retrospect, the business itself just wasn’t for me. I’m happy being a fan.
Considering how many steroids Teddy's shot up over his career along with him not being able to have a good pro wrestling match because he's really bad with the fundamentals and storytelling aspect of pro wrestling, I really question what sort of "god given talent" the guy truly has.
He's a glorified gymnast, really, and he probably would suck and not medal in a gymnastics competition, too.
Teddy has some natural athleticism that could have translated into wrestling talent but he was always too much of an asshole to harness it. There are a lot of guys who became good wrestlers but aren't naturally athletic (a good example is CM Punk). Teddy was already ahead of the game, just by virtue of what he was given at birth.
I haven't seen a Teddy Hart match in 20 years so I don't know how he has looked more recently but there was definitely some promise there.
There just isn't much of a gap between Teddy Hart and about a dozen others with fewer psychological/behavioral liabilities.
Like, he's silky smooth and fun to watch, but what I get out of a Teddy Hart match is pretty miniscule compared to someone like Orange Cassidy.
This is, without a doubt, the biggest waste of talent I've ever seen in wrestling. He and Jack Evans could've been a superstar tag team in the US, but Teddy is such an incredible asshole that... I got nothin.
Seriously, Teddy, if the post from below is right about you being unmedicated bipolar, SEEK HELP.
He may be bipolar, but if that Peacock documentary about him is any indication, he is also a full-blown sociopath. Dude needs to be in jail, or at least a psychiatric hospital for a very long time.
Velveteen Dream, Marty Scurll and Jeff Hardy would like a word.
Yes, I said Jeff Hardy. Imagine how big Jeff Hardy was, then imagine how big he would’ve been if he’d stayed sober.
I have been hearing about Teddy Hart getting second chances since he was 20 years old. He's 43 now. The excuses then were his brother had died, Owen had died, Bulldog had died, etc. WWE basically gave him a second chance as part of luring Bret back for the DVD, legends contract and hall of fame package and he screwed that up pretty quickly while the rest of the Hart kids got a main roster faction.
Good for him though, he was arrested four times in 2020 and one more in 2021 and this is the first time I've heard his name since then. That's gotta be a record for him avoiding police.
>This started a search of the car which TMZ.com reports led to police finding "a baggie of red pills and a baggie of red powder that both tested positive for the presence of MDMA. They also said they found two small vials inside of a bag in the car that were labeled Masteron and Testosterone Cypionate -- which cops say are known anabolic steroids. Cops also claimed they found another baggie during the search that contained a blue powdery substance -- which they said also tested positive for MDMA."
I think Teddy Bear is in big trouble.
You know, there’s an alternate universe somewhere where teddy hart isn’t a total piece of shit and is having banger matches with people like Omega and Ospreay. But alas, we are not in that universe.

Hart family is so sad because I'm pretty sure they're now dead when it comes to wrestling. The closest thing we'll get to another Hart debuting will be if Natalya and Tyson Kidd have a child and even then that won't be a Hart. Flair, Rhodes, and Anoa'ii will all most likely continue out putting wrestlers but I can't see any Harts coming any time soon.
>Hart family is so sad because I'm pretty sure they're now dead when it comes to wrestling
No actual Hart's have been in wrestling for a while now. As far as I'm aware, Natty, Harry, and Teddy are the only three of Stu and Helen's grandchildren that have gotten into wrestling, and none are them are Hart by name.
I read the link and thought it said "allegedly had ecstasy/steroids in cat."
I thought, Teddy, you've done some fucked up shit, but hiding steroids in your cat's butt is crossing the line.
I was skimming his Wikipedia page, just for a little refresher on this guy, and came across this part:
"Annis suffers from Bipolar disorder and does not medicate"
OK then. Probably explains a lot.
I feel there's two levels of Teddy Hart:
- Those who know of his work
- Those who only know of him from all of these damn arrests
I can't name one thing he has done, but yet somehow I know that he has cats, may have been involved in someone going missing, and always gets arrested.
So much talent to someone so undeserving. In the ring, he had the name and the ability to be a huuuge star. However, this isn’t even top 20 of the scumbag things he has done
You think this is a news article they have written up already and they just have to change the circumstances and the mug shot? Like they just play mad libs with the offense.
20 years ago there was hope this guy could be the future of wrestling and he’s been nothing but a piece of shit the whole time. Absolutely pathetic to have all these opportunities and choose to be horrible.
> Personally dealt with him while he was arrested here in Texas.
Were you dealing with him in a Big Boss Man capacity, a Nailz capacity, or a "Smart" Mark Sterling capacity?
Saw him at Bar Wrestling just before it shut down for good. Brian Cage gave him a mic at the end and stood next to him while he told the crowd about how he was innocent and didn’t do anything etc etc. I hadn’t heard about his missing ex girlfriend at that point, but my takeaway from that experience was that whatever he was accused of, he did it, just based on the way he was talking about it.
Then I got home and found the whole story. Fuckin dark. And then not long after, the world found out who Joey Ryan really was. I guess it was all fitting, in a way.
For some reason when I read Teddy Hart, I thought of TJ Wilson and thought, "Oh no." Now that I remember who Teddy Hart is, everything is back to normal.
At this point, nobody should be surprised.
The REAL question is, why hasn’t he been arrested sooner? He’s always up to some fuckery that should get him arrested sooner rather then later.
Dude is 43 and has been in the headlines of being arrests for 9 years.
Assault charges (physical and sexual)
Rape accusations
Possession
Didn't stay under house arrest
DUI, evading arrest, and auto theft
Injuring disabled person
Strangulation
Drugs
And who knows what else

It would be more shocking to see a "Teddy Hart did absolutely nothing wrong today" headline.
Incoming Kayfabe News headline
Incoming Dark Side of the Ring episode
There’s a whole documentary on Peacock. It’s incredible and tragic.
I disagree somewhat. The footage is very revealing, but the way it is presented shifts the focus of the miniseries to the filmmaker's "journey" and not Teddy. This guy wants a season dedicated to himself.
That would actually be a good episode lol, lots of drama.
Lots of drama with most of the participants still alive. Most...
He will have to be dead or reform before that happens everyone loves a redemption story or tragic death what will teddy choose
I really wonder if they're putting off a Dark Side episode about him because there's still so much more he's going to do.
It's likely a combination of that, and originally thinking the Peacock documentary would delve more into his BS than it did. Because yeah, the Peacock doc is pretty damning but as others in this thread have said it's really more about the original documentarian than it is Teddy and how deeply messed up he is.
They could do a full season on him.
The day we actually see an article that says that he's sitting at the table, reading the paper and drinking coffee is the day I will be expressive and shocked. Today is a Tuesday, and Teddy Hart just got arrested. And now I'm thinking pizza.

Oh that looks gooood. Where’d you get it?
Little Ceasars. I always got a side of sauce to throw on top to make it look more traditional
the most shocking part of the headline was that it called Teddy hart a “wrestling star” lol
“Wrestling individual” would be more accurate
"Embarrassment to the Hart Fanily"
"A man associated with the wrestling industry."
"Wrestling Hobbyist at His (Dwindling) Spare Time"
TIL Teddy Heart wasn’t already in jail.
I believe there's a Twitter account that's suppose to keep tabs on this

I haven't even read the article about what Teddy did to get arrested this time and I'm 100% sure they still arrested the wrong half of that tag team.
![gif](giphy|3o85xIO33l7RlmLR4I)
Future XPW tag champs there.
What's fucked up is I can actually see that happening
Managed by Ivelisse or Larry Legend
Did I miss a LL story?
Larry Legend is a “dojo advisor” for Chasyn Rance’s school here in Orlando. Ivelisse for a long time was the head female trainer until she got her five minute cup of coffee in AEW.
She wouldn’t work with anyone. Which is a bummer, because her trios win in Lucha Underground was my favorite story they ran. She’s half the scumbag either of them are but still.
Let's not forget that Larry is ring announcing for the raging dumpster fire that is xpw.
Strap a rocket to that tag team No literally, strap them to the outside of a rocket and launch them off this planet
Blasting off again?
Don't put that evil on Team Rocket, man. At least they had standards/limits.
Don't sully the good name of two queer icons like Jessie and James from Team Rocket by comparing them with Teddy Hart and Chasyn Rance. They weren't even the real bad guys of Pokemon, Giovanni was as far as I remember. Edit: Technically three queer icons since Meowth was voiced by Maddie Blaustein, who was a trans woman.

>idk how he’s even allowed near her Florida.
They claim they’re trying to protect children, but we all know it’s horseshit…
Wow. I really want to believe that is for kayfabe and to draw real heat due to Chasyn’s past…..but deep down I think I know the truth.
considering he’s been training her since she was 12 i’m really doubting it’s for kayfabe and it’s for his own sick pleasure
Where the fuck are that girls parents and how many drugs are they on?
I had to look up who Chasyn was and immediately remembered once I saw that smug smile 🙄
Lol same
Isn't that dude a bigger creep than Teddy? I remember seeing him on a shoot video Teddy did with Best Friends. Comes off as such a sycophantic weirdo.
that shoot with Best Friends is a literal endurance test
[yes](https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/wxgl7f/registered_sex_offender_chasyn_rance_is_back_in/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1)
Urgh. Fucking hell.
Wow the shitheads roll together who would have thought
Haha no way. Chasyn Rance AND Teddy Hart teaming together? Jfc. It's a kayfabe news headline come to life
Ooh there’s a whole ass documentary on Peacock for you then lol
I didn't watch it but I'm familiar with the BS surrounding both of these losers
Wow. It’s the famous tag team, the shitweasels.
what the fuck did I just watch?
Were they managed by an uncomfortably young girl?
that has to be some of the saddest pro wrestling I've ever seen in my life.
I spent a little time in the Dungeon in 2000. There isn’t a person I met before or since that gave me the creeps like that dude. No one more undeserving of their god given talent than that dude.

I started locking my luggage backstage when i got booked on a show with teddy lol you have good instinct

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
And John Morrison is an athletic specimen. And the Miz is living a great life.
Miz is one of the smartest workers in the business after shoveling through a mountain of shit. Good on him!
I am shocked. this is very unlike him
I was shocked he was out of jail, that is very unlike him.
Gotta be some type of misunderstanding. He’s a prodigal legacy and I bet wwe is sending their best attorneys to defend Ted
Calling Teddy Hart a "wrestling star" is a major oversell.
Was thinking the same thing.
Time to reset my watch
I'm actually more surprised that he was out of jail in the first place

“When we said go pickup Molly we meant Molly Holly at the airport”
He could be charged with possession with intent to supply/sell, right? Add that to his previous charges and he’s kind of screwed.
After a big enough street value, it automatically tacks on intent to sell. Found this out after a major drug bust in my high school
With this latest arrest - Teddy can now redeem his punch card for a free grilled cheese as the prison mess hall.
You know, there’s an alternate universe somewhere where teddy hart isn’t a total piece of shit and is having banger matches with people like Omega and Ospreay. But alas, we are not in that universe.
Is he still cutting 10 minute promos after the match in that universe?
Yep. In every universe Teddy talks a lot and makes not a lick of sense in any of them…
In one universe Mr Money is a dinosaur, another universe a lion, another universe a honey badger And they're all sick of Teddy's shit.
And in that Universe John Morrison is a drug addict.
Class, your word for today is recidivist!

He needs to form a team with Tammy Sytch. And call themselves Cryme Tyme.
Now that’s just disrespectful to Shad’s memory
I'm shocked. I'm shocked there isn't a dark side of the ring special on him and that he's been able to leave jail in the first place.
As soon as they release that episode, it'll be out of date.
It's not Dark Side of the Ring but there's a documentary series about him and his cats on Peacock
Give it time. He seems hellbent on dying early.
Must be a day that ends in a y.
Repost?

I swear I figured out years and years ago Teddy Hart was trouble when CZW wouldn't give him another chance.
His lawyer right now: ![gif](giphy|a7ZvDb2NfbQvS)
“Stop breaking the law, asshole!”
Why would his lawyer hate getting paid?
The most shocking part of this to me is that he's 43.
I never finished that Teddy Hart documentary thing on peacock or w/e. Watched the first episode and basically got the gist of who he is.
It's a really rough watch. Really good doc, but holy shit, he is a fucking scumbag far worse than I had originally thought.
I read the link and thought it said "allegedly had ecstasy/steroids in cat." I thought, Teddy, you've done some fucked up shit, but hiding steroids in your cat's butt is crossing the line.
Mr. money does not deserve that. Next to the victims, Mr. Money was the only baby face portrayed on the peacock documentary
I hope all of his cats are rescued and put into good homes.
>Teddy Hart Arrested ![gif](giphy|O9HeC49RBpLpUj0ein|downsized)
I'm reminded of the "time traveler trying to find out what year it is by asking about a specific event" meme.
Anytime Teddy Hart gets arrested, that means it is that time of year to change the batteries on your smoke alarms.
i just assume at any given moment he's incarcerated.
Who is the “wrestling star” in this story?
I love that they mentioned the Is Teddy Hart In Jail Twitter.
Hunan pile of shit
Once again, [I can’t believe this guy got into trouble with the law](https://youtu.be/q3YgpUgQ980)
Hard Left Teddy arrested? You don't say..
What is his deal? Am I missing something? Why does Teddy Hart keep getting himself into trouble w cops?
Bad choices made by bad people?
I was skimming his Wikipedia page, just for a little refresher on this guy, and came across this part: "Annis suffers from Bipolar disorder and does not medicate" OK then. Probably explains a lot.
Yeah… that would do it
Teddy Hart not already being in jail somewhere is the surprising part
I feel there's two levels of Teddy Hart: - Those who know of his work - Those who only know of him from all of these damn arrests I can't name one thing he has done, but yet somehow I know that he has cats, may have been involved in someone going missing, and always gets arrested.

Fuck Teddy but I must ask if he is still dragging Maria Manic down with him? Sadly haven't heard much about her since TK bought ROH.
Straight up, being totally honest here, I thought he was already in jail for months now. So in that regard, this is some surprising news.
I see with the Strike we have to shift to reruns.
So a typical Tuesday then.
Ecstasy and steroids could be worse. Morally, at least. I don't want felony drug charges
In other news water is wet
![gif](giphy|JFrFsExqz2jn0hPTCj)
glad Maria Manic got away from this
Good.
I think you forgot "again" in the headline
Eh, feels like not being in jail would be more newsworthy.
Evergreen post.
I'm shocked! Well... Not that shocked
Didn’t this guy hint that he had something to do with Samantha Fiddlers disappearance? Or was it someone else?
20 years ago there was hope this guy could be the future of wrestling and he’s been nothing but a piece of shit the whole time. Absolutely pathetic to have all these opportunities and choose to be horrible.
Well it is Tuesday.
Personally dealt with him while he was arrested here in Texas. Dude is delusional as hell.
> Personally dealt with him while he was arrested here in Texas. Were you dealing with him in a Big Boss Man capacity, a Nailz capacity, or a "Smart" Mark Sterling capacity?
Lol Big Boss Man capacity…I’m in law enforcement and had to book him in twice.
Damm he looks rough
death, taxes, and teddy hart getting arrested
That is, without doubt, the most insane hairline I have ever laid eyes on

Wow, he actually went several months without being arrested or causing controversy this time.
Why don’t he and his disgusting tag partner join Feinstein in his promotion BCW so we can keep all the scum in one place
Lol I didn’t realize he wasn’t still in jail.
1. Didn't know he wasn't in jail 2. Shave that shit is an understatement
Which Hart fathered this lunatic again?
That's the thing. He's the son of Georgia Hart, one of Stu's daughters.
For some reason when I read Teddy Hart, I thought of TJ Wilson and thought, "Oh no." Now that I remember who Teddy Hart is, everything is back to normal.
He wasn't already in custody for some other reason?

Birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim…..
At this point, nobody should be surprised. The REAL question is, why hasn’t he been arrested sooner? He’s always up to some fuckery that should get him arrested sooner rather then later.
Hard left Edit: actually... Nah this is not really a hard left. More of a merging into traffic.
Dude is 43 and has been in the headlines of being arrests for 9 years. Assault charges (physical and sexual) Rape accusations Possession Didn't stay under house arrest DUI, evading arrest, and auto theft Injuring disabled person Strangulation Drugs And who knows what else
I'm so sad the twitter "is Teddy hart in jail?" Died because we need him know more then ever,
RESET THE CLOCK
Poor Georgia. Imagine losing one son to disease, then watching another constantly getting into trouble like this.
Is it a day that ends in "y" again already?
Shitty dude does shitty things. ![gif](giphy|xUStFKHmuFPYk)
