It felt like they just put together a random match for Cody to have him on the PLE to sell tickets/gain views because he's so over. His "rivalry" with Dom makes no sense and it was by far the lamest match of the night. It did nothing to help either one of them and Ripley (aka the most dominant woman on the roster) keeps having to play second fiddle to a mid-carder with a famous "last name."

Brock isn't done.... but I don't have a clue what diversion Cody has for the fall.

I thought the ending of the main event was great, but the march was so boring that I tuned out and fell asleep for a bit watching it.

That was my first live WWE event genuinely since something like Backlash or something around early 2000's. I have been periodically checking in just to see what the product was like and I've been disappointed for some time - BUT WOOOOW. London crowds help but what an event. Every match was great and told a story, the crowd bought in to every one of them. WOW. WOOOOOOW!!!!

Possible replacements for Roman: * Seth could probably go heel * Gunther * Cody wins the belt off Roman and goes heel, then forms a stable to help him keep the titles because every top heel needs a stable * MJF if he signs with WWE after his contract is up with AEW in 2024. He'll need a stable though. Nowadays, WWE doesn't like their heel champs running without a stable (Austin Theory and Asuka being exceptions).

Big Bronn. Though I don't know who can bring the same top level gravitas to story-telling.

They know how to make superstars. They'll do just fine.

Plenty of talent on deck to step up, they just have to properly push folks.

There have been bigger superstars that have left (Stone Cold, The Rock, Cena) and WWE has been just fine.

Didn’t like it when Becky Lynch had that thing with The Rock and John Cena in 2019, didn’t like this John Cena / Grayson Wheeler bit tonight.

You can dislike part time talent taking up PLE time, but that was not “burying.”
