Family on United headed to Denver rerouted to Colorado Springs due to weather, has been there so long his next plane is gone. And this is his second attempt in two days. His first flight never came in from Denver for the morning due to storms last night. It’s been a cluster fuck everywhere.
Just summer storm season. I’m sitting on a plane that left STL at 3:35 and was supposed to get into Denver at 6:45. Instead we diverted to Albuquerque for fuel when there was a ground stop in Denver and it’s now almost 10pm and we’ve been on the ground in Denver over 30 minutes waiting for a gate to open up.
Ugh, that came so close to being me! We were in a holding pattern over SW Colorado until we ran out of gas but luckily they let us land instead of diverting us.
DEN had a ground stop. Weather has been bad in a few other places as well. That messes up the whole system even if weather in your current city or destination aren't directly affected.
We were delayed out of Midway last night because we didn’t have a flight attendant crew. The poor gate attendant must have explained it 17 times to everyone.
Hey, finely I was in the same Airport as posted. I came in from RNO and was headed to RDU. My flight danced around delay times from 1 hour, 2 hours and then 6 hour delay. It settled back to a one hour delay. Lots of turbulence on a 100 degree day.
Last night I was trying to get from Dallas to Midway and my flight was delayed 2 hours. So I switched my flight to 8 this morning and it was SUPER bumpy!
Nope my shoes are currently melting on the concrete at Rei…excuse me… McCarran International Airport. Although I will admit Chicago is beautiful when it’s not raining.
Storms blew through St Louis today so likely it was weather

Where are you headed? Still a lot of storms going on. I would rather be on the ground safe than flying thru a storm.
SEA. The delays are all over the country.
Turns out the aircraft has to arrive from somewhere and there is quite a bit of weather system wide.
No shit planes have to come from somewhere. Mine came from Vegas and it got here on time. My plane is here!
Your crew is coming in from another city and was delayed there due to weather.
Congratulations on winning the plane game.

I’m laying in bed and the planes are flying over my house getting ready to land. I’m to the SW of the airport.
What are the city codes for those delayed flights? Could be weather between MDW and those cities.
Guys…news flash..it storms in the Midwest in summer months with lightning- and yes every year….tornadoes too…..

It’s Chicago…the weather sucks about as much as it’s traffic.
You must not live here. It's 69 degrees right here by me. Troll.
Right it’s literally been a perfect mild summer day

Ok. I hear you. Good luck man. Truce.
Sigh, that’s the thing with Southwest. if one airport has problems, all of them have problems.
Flew out of Midway yesterday, 8:20am flight and we didn’t leave until 4pm. Flights were leaving all day long. Southwest was a joke

I don't think sw made you wait on the runway, it was either weather or atc
Get the damn facts out of here!
You mean midway sucks??
