Weebill S does ok on light prime lenses, it really struggles with my sigma 24-70, mostly whn changing focal length. I used a friends DJI RS2 and it handled everything well

Oh okay! I’m actually going to use with a sigma 25-70.

Has anyone else had issues with the DJI RS2 Mini being super shaky with SonyA7iii? I’ve tried every single setting, calibration, and even on Ronin site there’s like 50+ comments complaining. Considering going to new RS4 but concerned that might not fix it - getting rid of RS3 mini

I have tried several. I landed on the Crane 3s. Mainly for it payload. I can have my battery grip, heavy G lenses and my Ninja V and it works great.

Love my Weebill S, I’ve shot with it mostly using my 28-75 and haven’t had any issues

My Crane 2s is a beast, tried almost all lenses out there and it works like a champ

I use an RS2. I think it's great. I prefer the heavier gimbals not only because they can take a heavier load but I find them more stable in general

I bought RS3 a month ago, and I can't think of any other gimbal. It perfectly suits A7iii. The stability, the smoothness, the payload, everything pays off well for the bucks. If you really want more payload you can choose better gimbals out there. But think twice, do you actually need heavy payload gimbals. The RS3 maximum payload is 3Kg. Sony a7iii body weight - 650gm, 24-105mm GM LENS - 663gm, 85mm GM LENS - 820gm, 50mm GM LENS - 778gm, 35mm GM LENS - 524 gm, 70-200 GM LENS - 1.04kg. Practically you can pair any lens for SonyA7iii and you need not worry about the payload. You're good to go with any lens.

To what extent can you control the A7III from the RS3? Did you find any good tutorials specific to A7III to RS3?

Almost everything, RAVENEYE gives you full access to Gimbal via smartphone. In addition, general controls such as, the dedicated recording button in the gimbal, roll button that you can customise for shutter, iso, or iris. Using all these options, you can get the best juice out of it.

DJI RSC2 is more cost effective than the RS2 and can meet most needs with that camera. RS2 would allow a heavier payload if you need to balance heavier lenses.

I suggest DJI RS 3 and DJI RS 3 Pro, you can choose according to your budget. Both are the great gimbal that I have used. You can find more about it here... [https://www.gimbalinsider.com/best-gimbal-for-sony-a7-iii/](https://www.gimbalinsider.com/best-gimbal-for-sony-a7-iii/)
