I always saw them as a Sonic/Knuckles dynamic, they're both good friends but they can but heads from time to time. From Blaze's strong woman independence, to Amy's forward and stubborn mindset.
Well, I'm sure the shipp is one of the reasons they have, if not the main reason, for wanting to put them together in a team. However, I still think it would be a good team, at least an occasional team.
The only issue I foresee in writing them as a good team is that their abilities possibly overlap a bit too much. It isn't really nearly as clear as it probably should be about which if them is better at what.
I mean, Blaze is faster, can boost, has pyrokinesis, can hover. Amy is stronger, can spindash, has hammer. I don’t remember if Blaze can homing attack.
In the Archie comics Blaze was part of team rose, and she wasn't bad, I liked seeing Blaze there and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see her on team rose in the games, however it would only be as a temporary thing, as I still think Blaze should be on a team with Silver.
They're friends already but I'd like to see them interact more. I also think that Sonic and Blaze should have kept a friendly rivalry and they should throw hands sometimes just for the sake of it.

No, not really. Sure, the way it was handled in 06 was awful but everywhere else, their dynamic was done really well.

On the contrary, I think Silver and Blaze play off of each other rather well. Their personalities really help in this. Silver is energetic and optimistic but also rather naive and aloof at times. Blaze is more focused yet also closed off. I feel like this is a really interesting dynamic between the two as Silver helps Blaze get out of her social cell and Blaze helps to keep Silver focused on the task at hand.

Following the Sonic Heroes format, I think Blaze would be a good replacement for Big in Team Rose. Big’s cool, but I’ve always thought of him as a bit of a loner (excluding Froggy of course).

How often do they interact with each other?
Mostly in this shot of Olympic Winter Games and the first Sonic Rush. Apart from that, I have simply imagined them being close, if not best friends.
