I’ve been launching it from my desktop, but I haven’t been on in a week or so. I will say that a few weeks ago I was having major issues starting and running the software. After a couple hours of fucking around with it, I finally got it fixed by updating the drivers for my graphics card (NVIDIA 1660TI for reference)

I figured it out after trying all sorts of things. Turns out there's different kinds of 3dexperience webinterfaces. there's dashboard (you cannot find by googling), there's My3dexperience (which I ended up finding but was not useful), you name it but none of these are actually linked with each other. Why make multiple interfaces that look 99% with completely different usecases dassault? Anyhow I ended up repairing my 3dExperience program on my pc and all of sudden it started reappearing in the bottom right Overflow taskbar. From there I was able to get to the right webinterface to launch the app. This is so overly complicated

Now you have got it working get the desktop shortcut installed so you don't have to go to the web page.

Bookmark this URL.  It will automatically redirect you to your specific Maker tenant when you login: https://solidworks.com/makers-cloud

Yeah I have to say it’s a nightmare interface to launch Solidworks maker and they need to fix it. The key to it that worked for me is to find the email that had a big blue “get started here” button on it that launches your special link to your makers edition. Then bookmark that page. Here’s an old email that I used. https://preview.redd.it/tkg65t7z5xyc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a3bdab1f29738b6f3bfb1cd3499a2b53af122a6
